Have comments for your stories sent to the inbox or have the option to do so would be even better while others could keep the current method if they prefer.
I'm not sure, what you exactly mean. 1. Publish the comment as normal and send the text of the comment to the author's inbox. (You don't have to follow the link to read the comment) or 2. Don't show comments in the story and forward them to the author's inbox.
Option one. If for example you publish a new story and don't have your notifications minimized you get dozens of "insert name here" Favorited story or liked your chapter so comments can be easily missed. Maybe even a colored coated thread as mentioned in the other thread to let the writer know that he has new unread messages or the icon changes color when he looks at the story map.
