As she made her way to the door, Violetta quickly confirmed her suspicion - she were locked. She grabbed some sheets from the bed, she could not find a stapler, but the sheet alone was enough to - at least temporary - close the vents. Spoiler: breath 26+10 (tactical) - fail Unfortunetly, the captain failed to hold breath for long. She felt some of the gas as she took breath. Her body started going hot, as her vision blurted for a moment. It passed quickly, but she felt lust. "Ah, ah, ah!" Her screams coming from the recording from the monitor, did not help her...
‘I’m not sure, but the data storage might’ve tried to interface not only with the ship but with the people on-board as well,’ Cherenkov said, ‘Perhaps it’s only meant to be used remotely or maybe via a probe.’
Saffrona rise eyebrown but lower her rifle. "That is good news. Did you hear anything sounds of shooting blasters?"
“Trying to figure out where we are and what we're dealing with here. This is a part of space I am not familiar with.” Victoria replied, intentionally not mentioning thew rest of the fleet. “Since you have been here for a while, have you made contact with the locals? Do you know anything about them, such as their language or what they call themselves?” She attempted top learn something useful. At the same time she remained distrustful of the alien and kept observing her carefully.
The purple-haired clone frowned. "Sounds of blasters, Ma'am?" She tilted her head, as now when she was not aimed at, she slowly lowered her hands. "No, Ma'am, I have heard no such thing."
The woman shrugged. "Yeah, we know some things about locals, but we prefer to stay away. The primitives threat us like some kind of demons because of the difference in our looks." She nodded, then paused. "Say, can you provide us contact with our home? We would like to call them for a pickup." She asked, tilting her head, curious.
Victoria chose her words very carefully. “Contact your people for you? I suppose we could do that... assuming that there are no issues with our communications. On our way to the planet we detected some unknown anomalies that we have not investigated yet, so we don't know if they might interfere with communications. In fact, this is the main reason I asked about what happened to your ship – I was wondering if perhaps the cause is an anomaly you got too close to... but you obviously have no way to know that, since you were asleep at the time.” She paused to catch her breath. “Assuming that we manage to contact your people, what should we tell them? At the very least they would want to know who is in need of a pickup...”
Saffrona sigh. It look like a she must misheard something. "Alright, so let's go to medical bay, I have to see them." She said.
The woman nodded her head. "Personally, I would prefer to talk with them myself... but if you could send message, that there are surviouvors Hiarus waiting for pickup, we would be grateful."
Spoiler: ? 1 Suddenly, as the two were talking, something hit back of Saffrona's head. She fell o the ground, pain radiating, thumping. For a moment she did not hear or saw anything. She could feel something warm spreading over her head, an iron taste in her mouth...
(Well, bad roll XD) "Ugh... My head..." Saffrona sigh of pain, trying to get back her focus. Damit, she let someone sneak behind her like child! Shame on her! Capitan tried to look around, to see who attack her, she was still half blind.
‘I’m not sure, they might just be confused after waking... they might go insane. Anything in between, it’s impossible to tell. Be wary and stay alert, Naomi,’ Cherenkov called to his 2IC.
{The worst roll } As her head was still spinning, soon, Saffrona realised that she was disarmed and dragged somewhere. Soon, she was thrown to the ground. "Hu xan ru!" She heard unknown language. "Sa, Cai Hurus mara ui-ka." "Sak! Lie thu!" It took her a moment to realise - those were voices of ORMO clones! Still, her head was still spining, but she was slowly recovering.
Naomi frowned. "Well, that's disturbing." She paused. "Dammit, Captain Saffrona just left. Okay. How do we deal with this, on a cripled ship?"
Saffrona hold on curse what coming to her mouth, when she realized that it was ORMO who attacked her! Her head was still spining, so if comes to fight, she will be on disadvantage. Saffrona must wait to get recovered more and wait of opportuniti to strike, when her mind will be perfect. Reason why clones attack her and why they speak in unknown language it wasn't matter. Right now, she has to get back in control of herself.
‘You need to warn Captain Saffrona about her crew possibly behaving erratically after waking and tell her what the anomaly really is,’ Cherenkov said, ‘I’d suggest to isolate every crewmember and check if they are unaffected by the anomaly but you are probably too few personell for that.’
Victoria nodded. “I will see what we can do about it once we are back on our ship. But it shouldn't be a problem to contact your people.” She looked at the alien woman. “We wanted to meet the locals, but it seems that will have to wait at least a little bit. We don't want to intrude any further, so we will be heading back now.” She added, ready to lead her group back tot he ship, unless the Nyssan any further questions or requests. (Really not happy with my post, but for some reason this encounter has me stumped and I have trouble coming up with anything to write.)
As Saffrona looked around, she realised, that there were three more clones, unconscious, laying next to her. There were five ORMO standing - two had weapons. It seemed that they were discussing something, animeditely... in alien language.
"Right." Naomi answered, her camera moved towards the monitor, one of the clones was still trying to work on. "What you will be doing in the meantime?" Before Cherenkov could answer, he noticed that one of the cameras, of the clones he sent to Spear, went black.
