"Of course, Ma'am." Patricia said as she turned to look at the monitor. "What about the Nyssan's we encountered?" She asked. "Will we be contacting their government?" The first turned to Captain, curious of her answer.
“Not today – let's give our fleet a bit longer to get settled in this sector. The Nyssans have been here for a while, another day or two – or several – won't make a difference.”
Zack pondered the possible threats of this area of space but cursed his luck of so little information. Once he'd finished with the federation's reports he turned to the non-federation reports and began reading those.
Patricia opened her mouth and then closed it. Soon, she spoke again, this time more carefully. "Of course, captain. Do you have any particular reason for such a delay, Ma'am?" She asked, her tone curious.
The Federation reports had some more concrete information in them. Reports of disappearing trader ships, one of the cases was discovered to be a slaver operation, another of pirate raids. The Federation sent three ships into area... and all went missing in action. Spoiler: intelligence 5- great failure As Zack looked through the reports, he soon decided that there was nothing to be learned from them.
Zack let out a sigh, removed his visor, and rubbed his temples where the visor attached trying to alleviate the dull throb that had presented. "Nothing..." he muttered "a whole lot of nothing." He shut off the monitor, straightened his uniform and decided to return to the CIC.
“Just a small precaution, in case for some mysterious reason the Nyssans decide that they would rather kick us out and take over the sector themselves. I do not expect such a development, but better to be prepared, just in case. We are in an unexplored part of space that we are not yet familiar with, after all...” Victoria explained. “Plus the Nyssans were here for some reason, and we do not yet know what.” She added a moment later.
As he finished reading, he made his way to the CIC. He found the room in order. One of the clones turned to him. "Captain, we are finishing the operations." He reported.
Patricia narrowed her eyes. "Do you believe they are laying about crashing here?" She asked. "If so, wouldn't a military action against them be more appropriate?"
"Excellent." he complimented. "Once complete link up with the Aegean and coordinate with them on what they need next and if there's any way we can assist."
The clones nodded - then the one meaning the communications, suddenly spoke. "Captain! We have a communication package from Aurora!" He said. "It looks like some kind of report!"
The data could wait for now, Naomi might be in danger, so he kept an eye on her and the clone's monitors.
Realising that her lust is too great to handle by herself, the captain instinctively raises her communicator to her lips. I can't sleep with two of my officers... But maybe I can sleep with the same officer twice? And if he's here, he's less likely to figure out what happened in his room. "X...XO Bell..." She contacts the crooked Lieutenant Commander. "R-Report to the c-captain's cabin at once..."
"Captain!" Suddenly a clone next to communication console spoke. "We are receiving a data package from Aurora!"
There was a pause, as she heard the communicator beep in response. "Can it wait captain? I am little busy with report of fire onboard... and a communications we are receiving from Aurora."
"N-No, it can't." Violetta grunts with irritation. "Leave all that to the c-crew - there's a s-situation up here, and I need you here now!" Impatiently, she bites her lip. "...Please..." She adds quietly.
"...Very well." Her XO answered. Then the communicator clicked, as the transmission was terminated. Soon, after a few minutes of tormentful waiting, there was a knock to the door.
“I can't be sure, but I don't think they are lying. However, the Nyssan I spoke to did not seem like a high-ranking crew member. I doubt her superiors will ask about her opinion. While I don't expect any trouble from the Nyssans, I'd rather be prepared for the possibility, just in case. Better safe than sorry, you know.” Victoria explained.
"I see..." Patricia nodded. One of the clones walked up to her and gave her a datapad. She took it and read, before turning back to face the captain. "So we will be leaving Nyssans to themselves, while we go to meet the natives?" She guessed. She took a datapad that lied on her chair, and gave it to Victoria. It contained some information on Nyssans. Spoiler: Datapad - Nyssans
“Yes, tomorrow we will make another attempt to contact the locals, and hopefully this time we will have better luck.” Victoria said, then took the datapad and read the info about the Nyssans, refreshing her knowledge about their race.
