Karolina flashes Silas an irritated look, even if he's not far from the truth. "Wait... Helen... Not Helen as in Helen of...you know?" She raises an eyebrow as she looks at the woman.
The inevitable would eventually have to approach. She'd have to strengthen her skill to it's peak.....and her resolve. She would most likely need to plan this out well. It would be against the spirit of the battle to merely be assassinated in her sleep. Again. Perhaps she could utilize holy ground as a sort of safety barrier. She would have to seek this unfightable ground on and see it for herself.
[Go at your own pace. There is no need to hurry now.] Sofia moaned lightly as she woke up. She kissed Reka's shoulder lightly, before hugging her from behind. "Sill not satisfied?" The woman chuckled. "Sure, we can have some more fun~"
"The one and only~" The woman says with a warm chuckle. Her voice seemed as if she was singing. "Helen of Troy. A pleasure, young immortal~" She said with a warm smile as she reached to shake Karolina's hand.
With her mentor gone, Thea was left alone to drink her coffee. She had a choice to make - her next course of action. She probably should find a base - a place to stay. The holy places were one possibility - churches, cementeries, native maerican's resting places - those were all a possibilities. There was also the stewardess... she could crash with the red-haired woman. Alternatively, she could start with the hunt. There were immortals in the city, she could try to find them...
Idly, Karolina shakes the woman's hand, mouth agape in shock - knowing a guy who claims to have been a Trojan is one thing, but actually meeting someone from the Iliad? This is insane...
The woman seemed to be amused by Karolina's reaction. "My dear," She started, her voice amused as if telling an old joke - clearly, she did meet such a reaction a few times, and found it entertaining. "would you grant me an honour of knowing your name?" She asked, her voice soft, warm. Silas lightly sugged Karolina, bringing her back to reality. "Introduce yourself..." He said, himself somewhat amused by her reaction.
"Er, forgive me. Karolina of House Balkus." The noblewoman leans forward and does a small curtsy, unsure of how she's supposed to react.
It was a tough decision. But ultimately, it wouldn't be too difficult to get access to a church later to sleep on a bench. It wouldn't be comfortable, but it would be effective. The red haired woman was a possibility...but just a bit too early to be calling her already. Perhaps, the best thing would be to do is to gauge the abilities of one of her opponents early on. She didn't know anything about this city in particular, so it somewhat hurt her ability to know the area, but it stood to reason that meant many of the ones who travelled here would be just as lost as her. Many would likely get the same idea in mind to utilize safe zones when available. For now, she supposed the most grand and elegant gesture would be to make the mark of her arrival by combat with at least one. Should she fail, better to get it over with. Should she succeed, it would make for the much better epic and saga.
"Relax~" Helena chuckled, goodnaturaly. "We are just messing with you. It's a little old game between us~" She turned to Silas who shrugged. "Well, few remember the name of General Silas, guardian of the gate. But they old remember name of Helen of Troj." He said, and there was a little bitterness in his voice. "Oh, old friend, Helen is there just to look pretty - it's the heroes everyone were looking after. Ask anyone what happened with Helen after the war, and one in hundred will remember. But the battle - the duels - everyone knows those." She said with a distant smile. A somewhat comfortable silence fell between them.
With her decision made, the only thing left, was the search... there were a couple of ways to go about it... but her instincts... they told her where to go... a couple of places. She felt So Naka... then there were two immortals in one place, maybe even fighting... then there was one other... Old... powerful... Even older then So Naka...
Though the two ancients seem comfortable not talking, the young Karolina finds the quiet awkward, and pipes up. "So... Helen... What, uh, brings you to Versailles? Here to start another war?" She chuckles awkwardly, before realising that that joke probably went to far, and clamps her mouth shut.
Helen raised her eyebrow as Silas sighted. "Well, I guess there are downsides to your reputation." He said, with a chuckle. Helen shrugged. "I suspect that what brings me here is the same as you." The old immortal decided to humour Karolina. "The French court is now the center of the worls'd power. And I am here to take part in it." She smiled. "Maybe... I will start a small war~" She chuckled.
Helen hummed as she turned to Silas. "Does it?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "Well..." The man said as he raised his glass. "Maybe~" Then hummed. "Maybe not~" He said with a smile. "I need something from the king's treasure... you will help me to get it - and we will aid you." He raised his glass. "So... an alliance?" The woman chuckled as she raised her glass. "I can get behind that." They clinked the glasses. "Cheers~" "Cheers~" They drank a toast, but soon Helen turned at the voice of the king. She nodded to the duo. "I will see you around~" She said with a laugh, as she left the two and made her way to the king.
"Ha!" Reka laughs. "I meant riding into the city. I can't wait to really fuck you, but I need to get going. Having a way to clean up would be nice too. You joining me?"
As disappointing as it would be if Naka felled early, she was overall confident that she would come out alive. However, if she were to intercept this old immortal and absorb their power that might give her the edge to face her mentor on more even ground later. As capable as she was, she acknowledged that this wasn't the time to refuse any kind of edge she could utilize.
"So, what do we think about her? I sense history there - you think she'll hold her end of the deal?" Karolina raises an eyebrow, whispering to Silas as she ogles Helen and the king.
The woman laughed. "Well, not my fault you speak in such a roundabout way! You want a straight answer, ask a straight question~" She chuckled. "First breakfast, then... sure~" She said as she walked to the bike... but naked. She returned with some food and pot- soon, over the fire made by Reka, a soup started boiling in the pot. The two ate, naked enjoying the warmth of the sun... Soon, they were prepared and clothed for the travel. "Where are we going?" Asked Sofia as she mounted her motorcycle.
With her decision made, Thea made her way toward the eldest immortal. The person must have sensed her because the immortal started moving. Soon, as the sun started raising, Thea found herself in the area that her opponent choose as the battlefield. An old industrial complex...
