The man chuckled as he lightly brushed her hair. "As you command, Captain~" He whispered into her ear, as he planted a kiss on her neck.
"Alright." She throws off the covers, heading to go take a shower. "About time to say goodbye for now, sailor."
The two took a shower together. "Ah, is that so..." The man got up and put on his robe as the two left the shower. "Well, if you must..." He sighted as he planted a light kiss on the woman's cheek. "Well then, I will be waiting for a sign from you... but be careful. They will be hunting us as well, if you wait too long, they might get to one of us... and then our plan will go to hell." He hugged Karolina.
[In that memory she was returning to America for the first time in approximately 90 years after she left the country with Cassidy in 1901. Meaning, the memory happens in approximately 1990. I was thinking that she stole or bought the motorcycle more recently during her time in South America, which is from 1901-1990. Sorry for the confusion. I'll try to remember to state specific years and/or events for future flashbacks to avoid this kind of thing.] Reka buys gas first, being careful to ensure she can afford the price. Probably best if I don't risk more trouble just yet.
After a few minutes Reka sat down in the restaurant. Sofia handed her a menu. "So... sword, huh?" Sofia started. "Quite untypical. I am myself a gun girl... easier and faster." Before Reak could answer, a waitress walked up to them. "Weclome to Edd's and Becky's Dinner! What can I serve you?" She asked, with notepad ready.
Reka looks through the menu. "I-" she starts before the waitress announces herself. The Hun looks her over briefly before answering. "I'll just have a hamburger and coffee." Once the waitress departs, Reka turns back to Sofia. "I was never a good shot." Turns out beatings don't teach how to aim, right father? Reka fails to totally suppress her anger as it shows on her face, but she recomposes herself quickly. "So, I use a sword instead. My seax and I have been through a lot together, but I'm pretty fucking good with almost any blade." She gives Sofia a look of appreciation. "Thanks for sticking with me, by the way."
"Stay in contact. I gave you my number last time we met - it's still valid, so give me a call if you see any immortals." Karolina orders, her all-business captain side rearing its head. "I'll talk to you soon regarding a plan." The redhead heads back to her car, driving in the direction of her nightclub, before changing her mind and heading to the local police precinct - one of the police captains is a contact of hers, and thinking he could aid her with information, she goes to enter the building and head for his office.
With the time for conversation mostly over, Thea began to take a stance and ready herself, trying to gauge his movements. It wasn't a conventional weapon, but she imagined that could only mean he was confident with it. She knew the type of weapon pretty well, even if it wasn't in common use. Specifically, it was designed to get around shields and generally used more of as a puncturing weapon than a cutting one. However, it's main failing came in it's odd shape while providing an advantage to shields, came with it's balance. It behaved more like an axe. However, they were weapons that relied on heavy momentum and given the odd shape, while they were ideal for cutting through simple things like hide, there was a reason they fell out of use. Against metal they would struggle and barely be able to cleave anything. ...but he must have known that when selecting it. There was no doubt, he was confident enough in his skills to finish this quickly and it was best accomplished by using a weapon he was long familiar with. After all, he only needed to go for the head. The same could be said about her blade up against him. And she didn't have as much to worry about as armor. Thea tried to gauge her opponent, but it wasn't easy. While he was immortal, he didn't possess infinite stamina. Given his physical age of being much older, he likely intends to finish things as quickly as possible before risking himself in a drawn out fight against "younger" immortals. The emphasis on a weapon made for exploiting heavy momentum made sense. This was a weapon, that by design, you had to be aggressive. It may have a bit of an advantage of weight and force meaning, she unlikely could parry it. However, this also meant that he would be incapable of pulling back with it or blocking. A weapon like this would be a strong start, but if he couldn't kill his opponent easily right out of the gate, most likely his dueling stalls. She knew the proper approach to take. A weapon like this wasn't made to intercept following attacks. If she tried to grid the defense for too long and wait for an opening, that would most likely just mean she'd eventually succumb to the pressure. Rather, she needed to force an advantage quickly and put him on the defensive and he would start to slow down if he can't utilize his energy for an aggressive start right away. Then she should get the opportunity for a decisive strike.
"Scrambeled egss, bacon, toast and coffee." She said to the waitress, then watched the woman as she left, before turning back to Reka, as she was sure she was away. "Seax?" Sofia looked at her quiziccaly, not fully grasping the meaning of the world. "No problem - I knew you longer then the cop." She shrugged. "Besides, we had some good time together." She leaned back. "So... you plan to screw few more cops in the city?" She asked, her tone light.
As she drove to the station, she remembered the first meeting with the policeman. It was right after she broken a speed... by somewhere around double the allowed limit, when she was stopped by the police. The officer Piet Cars very calmy listen to her explanation, then made a point to show her what he thought of her... flimsy excuse. and gave her a rather high ticked. Then, when she protested - rather loudly, he became more... agreeable... gentel even... Karolina thought he turned gentleman as he gently took her hand... until he locked cuffs on it. She shook her head as she finally reached the man's desk in the police office station. He didn't even looked up.
Silas, the ancient Trojan finally made it to the ground level. He stopped in front of Thea and raised his hand in a salute. Before spinning it and assuming combat position, his sword held with both hands, handle on the level of his chest. They stood still... then the man moved. But then, the man moved out of the way. It hurt as the back of the blade hit her. This time Thea was ready -she blocked and spun, ready to elbow the man in face. Only for him to block her, and punch her in the face, making her make a couple of steps back.
"Officer Cars." She says as she arrives at his desk. "It appears I'm in the regrettable position of requiring your aid. I'd like data on recent violent crimes in the area, specifically those involving decapitation - and swords."
The man looked up at her curiously. "You know... okay... I'll bite. Why are you looking for something soo specific." He asked as he leaned back. In her acquaintance with the man, she got to know him as a man who did his job well... and also one who did not give fucks to anyone. If not for that, he would have been a long time ago a police chief.
Karolina rolls her eyes. "You know, I feel that our relationship works best when you give me what I want, and you don't ask questions, but because of my deep love and respect for the police force, I'll humor you." The redhead makes up a story on the spot, as she leans forward to give the cop a good look at her cleavage to keep him from thinking too hard. "I've heard a rumor that some sort of gang might be targeting my club for a hostile takeover - apparently they use swords as some sort of calling card."
Reka can't help but grin at the subject. "It's a type of sword. Design dates back to the Germanic and Turkic tribes who fought the Romans--Franks, Goths, Huns, etc." She says warily,"Not if I don't have to. Don't want to be forced to skip town right after getting there." Switching to a more sultry tone, she continues. "Besides, I already have someone in mind for screwing."
“Oh, you’re quite good.” She was expecting this, but it was clear from her tone she still didn’t seem to sound overly threatened. She didn’t plan on talking too long to allow him to catch his breath. “Unfortunately….it’s just not quite enough.” The fight was rather even handed so far, but part of the battle was also psychological, Thea maintaining a straight face to play it off as if she wasn’t really struggling that much. “I hate to break it to you, but if the most you can do is battle even with me, you’re never defeating Naka. Your skill and your experience is clear…yet…” She made a face. “These movements lack a certain conviction. Perhaps you resigned yourself to the idea you would die? If so, all the experience in the world means little when you strike without conviction. Without a real drive….” Every blow carried weight. Every movement must be with purpose. Facing off must be done with unyielding determination. Psyching herself up, her gaze narrowed with her expression becoming more steeled. This wasn’t the look of nostalgia anymore, but the acknowledgement this was a serious battle.

He turned to computer, and started typing, not waiting for the answer. After a moment he hummed. "No such cases in the city... but there was a case of someone having her head removed, around twenty kilometres to the north... the body was found on the camping site and there was a sword near the body." He paused then cursed. "There was also a recent case of policeman found this morning. He is believed to be killed by the sword... but not decapitated."
"Huh... didn't take you for a historic nerd." Sofia hummed. She grinned at the mention of screwing... then frowned. "You mean it literally, or it's just your phrase for-" "Here you are!" Sofia was interrupted, as waitress returned with dishes, laying meals in front of each other. "Do you want a cake after the meal? It's quite good - the best in twenty kilometres around here!" She said enthusiastically. Reka was ready to belive her - she doubted anyone sold cake's in the distance from this place.
"My club is one of the hottest in town - anyone would try to muscle in on it. And I tend to get people's attention naturally." She smirks. "I'd like the crime reports for both incidents."
