Sofia chuckled impishly. "Well... I am not too good in that as well..." She chuckled. "Right. I will get the bag..." The biker got up and left. As Reka looked around, she found the waitress taking money from the pair who just finished their meal and were getting up to leave.
"Like I said, I'm here on Mr Stevenson's behalf." Karolina says. "I hear that one of your detectives won't let the case go - won't stop harassing Mr Stevenson. Clearly, this isn't the fault of the detective in question - but of the supervisor who can't keep her people in line." She glares threateningly. "Mr Stevenson is unhappy. As are his...friends. We both know who I'm talking about." She leaves the implication, despite the fact that she has no clue who Stevenson's friends are.
Lowers our chances with her not here, but whatever. Reka keeps her eyes fixed on the waitress, waiting for the other woman to notice she's being checked out.
The woman flinched at the accusation. "There is no problem..." She all but hissed back. "The detective responsible will not interfere anymore, if he wanted to keep his job." She grithed her teeth. "And even should he do something, it will be brought down in the curt." She crossed her arms under her bust. "There is no reason to worry,"
The woman soon noticed the eyes on her. The waitress walked up to Reka, humming softly. "Did you enjoy your meal? Could I suggest desserts?" She asked, her tone bright and a small smile on her face.
"Mr Stevenson will decide whether he has a reason to worry." Karolina gives her a withering look. "The last thing he wants if for this to make it to court - with all the press attention that will bring. He'll be very displeased." The redhead moves around the desk. "Mr Stevenson is prepared to trust you - and let you keep your job. But he wants a token of trust from you - proof that you'll do your very best to do as you've been told." She sits down in the woman's chair, pulling her phone from her purse.
The blond almost snarled. "Stevenson better keep his wits about him." She said with a malovelence that almost surprised Karolina. "He got himself in this trouble, so I'm not taking any advice from him." She walked up to Karolina and poked her with her finger. "If he doesn't like how things are, tell him to go up... see how things go from there. But make sure to tell him, if he returns with his tail curled between his legs, I will not be so nice."
Hmmm, maybe my original plan isn't going to work... But maybe I can turn her against Stevenson? Karolina stands and heads for the door. "Very well, I'll tell him - but he wanted me to tell you something as well: Be careful - anyone can end up the victim in a homicide investigation, even a police captain. And he has a thing for blondes." She exits the police station and heads to her club.
The woman looked positively murderous as Karolina left. Karolina left the policestation and drove into the night. She stopped in front of her club and walked out of the car. When she locked it, the night was lighted up by a storm... She looked up and saw lightning striking, again and again... It was a quickening.
Kurwa! She clenches her coat tightly to her, hand on the hilt of her saber, as she presses her back towards the wall, slowly creeping toward the source of the quickening.
{Oh, you know that curse... do you know it's second meaning?} As she looked around, she quickly realised, that the quickening was not taking place anywhere near... on the contrary... it was taking place somewhere in the city, but further away.
(Whore, right?) Karolina feels the tension flow out from her body, but only in the immediate sense. Another immortal gone. How few of us are left, I wonder? She wonders idly if there's a way she can track the source of the quickening, and if not, heads inside the club.

And if you are really pissed of and want to curse a lot, it can serve as a comma.-To show how pissed you are if you are, using kurwa every cupple of words} As she tried to sense it... she could find a general direction of the immortal who was now taking the quickening... She could try to catch the immortal... or find who was killed.
As the waitress makes her way over to Reka's table, the immortal unzips her leather jacket halfway, showcasing her prodigious cleavage. Reka smiles in return. "Yeah, we did." Unashamedly drinking in the brunette's body, Reka stretches her back, emphasizing her own chest as she adopts a husky tone. "I know I said I don't like sweets earlier, but my friend and I noticed something irresistible about you. We'd love to try out your...flavor, honey."
(I can refrain from using it if you'd prefer) Karolina pulls out her phone, texting Edward. "Feel that? I'm heading to investigate. If you have time, check the loser's identity, then come join me." Hopping back in her car, she takes off as far as the expensive Italian engine will go, looking for the culprit.
The waitress flushed lightly at the implication. "Well, miss, I am into men, so I have to apology, as I refuse your advances~" She said with a small smile appologitaclly.
Be right there. was Edward's answer. As she drove her car, soon, she drove into old industrial district... The immortal was still there. @Arachna As Thea fell on the ground, her body vibrating from the quickening, the knight heard the roar of the engine. She could feel the presence of immortal approaching.
Karolina drives into the district, but keeps her distance for now, exiting her car and heading for the disturbance.
A younger Reka would have been filled with rage at being denied, even at a refusal this kind. She still feels a flash of that anger, but the centuries have taught her that she can't win every fight. After a moment's pause to process her emotions, she composes herself. "That's alright. Mind handing me the bill?" Reka pays for their lunch, leaving her with almost no money left. Unwilling to completely give up on bedding the waitress, she says with a wink, "If you change your mind, we might be at the shed around back for a little while." Then, she leaves to rejoin Sofia.
Another battle already? As exciting as the idea might be, she wouldn't be in prime condition if she fought here. And yet....her honor as knight meant neither could she flee from challenges or a battle. Thea debated what she would do before ruling that most likely, her best bet was.....to ask her opponent nicely for a bit of time. At least she hoped so. Otherwise, she'd be forced to destroy them, of course. But wouldn't be doing it with the most grand way possible and with elegance.
