An expensive sports car stops in front of Thea, the door opening to reveal a redhead wearing a fur coat, and under it, as the knight expected, a sword - this one a saber. "Enjoying your evening, are we? Hold, stranger - I'm not here to fight, only to find out who was killed, and who did the killing. I-" The redhead looks down at the ground, where the old man Thea killed lies, and her face goes white. "...Silas. No, no, no! Silas, oh fuck!" She rushes over to him, cradling the body, while gripping the hilt of her sword tightly. That bitch! She killed him! I'll take her fucking he-... No. Breathing in, Karolina tries to calm herself down. You knew this was going to happen eventually - Silas simply couldn't stand up to the modern competition. Clutching the corpse, a tear rolling down her face and staining her mascara, the redhead looks at Thea. "...It would be...ignoble...to fight someone already tired and wounded. You can go in peace - I have to figure out what to do with the body."
The woman smiled and thanked, and instinctively, Reka knew that she would not take her on that offer - not without some more talking and action. As the waitress stored the money, Reka realised that the register was rich with cash. As she got out, Sofia turned to her with a frown. "No luck, huh?" She said slightly disappointed. "Oh well, life. Are we going?"
Emotions were obviously going to be running high. It would be better to just leave her be while she's distracted than do anything to pick a fight. "The day will come when we inevitably cross paths again. In the meantime, I believe there's a cemetery not too far by." All she could do was offer some input, her voice calm and steeled as a knight should be. It would be difficult to carry on a conversation like this, but Thea took a moment to look at the body. "He was one of the greatest warriors I ever seen." Leaving it at that, she didn't say anything more before walking away. She wasn't in any condition to battle at her best yet even if she had the taste for it.
The money's not worth the trouble right now. A dead cop will attract enough attention on it's own. Reka's expression stays neutral. "She's only into men, and I don't want to take her by force with a corpse just up the road." She walks Sofia back to their parked bikes and climbs onto her own. "Let's get moving." We'll make some fun later. She starts her ride and speeds off, the drive taking the edge off of her remaining rage.
"...Thank you." The redhead responds simply, before letting the knight walk away. @majus Trying her best to keep her emotions in check, Karolina takes a blanket from the car to wrap Silas' body in, before heading out to bury him.
Thea makes her way around the buildings, slowly leaving the the area of immortal behind her... She stopped as she stood next to the busy street, snapping from her inner turmoil. She was tired... she needed a place to rest...
"Eh... we could have taken her forcefully..." Sofia shrugged. "As you wish." But then agrees easily. Soon, the two are making their way through the country, Spoiler: Random 6 And thankfully, by they arrive at the city, without any problems.
As she arrived at the cementary, she felt a disturbance - Edward soon joined her. Noticing her state he quickly makes his way to her. "Is that?" He asks as he notices the sword laying next to the body. But does not finish. "I am sorry, Karola" He says as he embraces her.
Reka looks to the sky as they approach, using the Sun's position to estimate the time of day. Going to need to find somewhere to stay the night. And somewhere to eat. And money. She sighs, inaudible over the engine noise. Running an army is so much better than trying to go it alone. She glances over her shoulder at Sofia. Well, not quite alone for now. We'll see how long she lasts. She returns her attention to the streets. Thankfully, we're in the city, so we can act more freely without it being connected to that cop. Robbing a gas station would probably be the easiest way to get some cash, but it wouldn't last long. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a mansion to break into.
The redhead nods, hugging back as she struggles to contain her emotions. Silas had been... She's not sure whether she loved him, but he'd been the closest person in the world to her - saviour, lover, teacher, friend... Thousands of years of life, and all of it gone after a single melee. "Ahem." She pulls back, trying to contain herself. "His killer, she had a longsword... High middle ages, or maybe late... And she spoke pretty formally. Maybe some sort of knight. Have you heard of anyone like that?"
The two drive into the city. As they drive blindly, Sofia drives closer to Reka. "Hey! I know a cheap motel where we could spend a night!" She screams through the air.
Edward hugged her, moving his hand through her hair. "A couple." He said silently. "But most are dead." He said quietly, staying silent fo a few moments. Then he stiffened. "I know one who matches the description... One of So Naka's students was supposed to be english knight." He says after a moment.
"Damn... Think they could be working together?" She pushes him away slightly, trying to use business to distract herself from what happened to Silas. "And are they highly aggressive?"
"I..." The man shook his head. "I don't know." He paused. "They might be taking care each of the other immortals, until only they are left..." He suggested, incertainly.
"Hmm... A shame we don't know, but those are the breaks. I don't want you following this up, it's too dangerous. In fact, why don't you stay at the club for a while?" Karolina asks forcefully.
"Hey, hey~" He grabbed Karolina's chin. "That was not the plan." He gently caressed her cheek. "Come now, it's time to strike back. Let's find the old bitch, beat her senseless, show her some good old japanesses ropeplay, have some fun with her then take her head..." He said as he gently stroked Karolina. "After that, we can do away with her student."
"Of course it isn't a game... but eventually, they will go after us." He says calmly. At her declaration he smiled. "So... we bend the rule~" He chuckled. "Some blood will do you well, Karolina." He looked down at Silas. "Let's burry the old drankard... and then, I will need to make a few phonecalls."
"Let us get to work, then. Grab a shovel." After the two of them bury Silas (or more accurately, after Karolina orders Edward to do it,) the two of them head back to the club. "Who are you calling, exactly?"
As the two buried Silas, Karolina put two coins in his eyes - as it was a custom of his old people. The two were then riding in her car, when she asked a question. "Old friend in a taxi company. I had he be on a lookout for familiar faces." He said as he took out the phone. He talk for a minute... before he grinned. "Got her! She is drinking in old Henry's!" He smiled as his phone buzzed. "Apparantly, she is relaxing~" He showed her a pic. Spoiler: pic
