Eris, goddess of discord, watches in glee as Olympus descends into anarchy. Athena, Poseidon and Apollo, tired of the rule of Zeus, have been marshalled into open rebellion by Hera, tired of her husband's countless infidelities, and have struck at the king of the gods, not managing to imprison him, but leaving him weakened by the chains of Hephaestus. Now, Olympus has been divided into armed camps between the gods in support of the rebels, and those who support the All Father. None of the gods dare to fight an open battle, lest Olympus itself be destroyed in the carnage, but that doesn't stop the Gods from plotting, or from executing their will far from Olympus.

Far below the sacred mountain, in the domain of mortal man, humankind goes about their business, ignorant of the turmoil raging above. Ignorant they may be of the Olympic cold war, but they have begun to feel the effects nonetheless. Monsters, war, curses, fire from the skies, all manner of calamities befall man, who begs for deliverance. Into this chaos emerge a group of extraordinary individuals, a new group of demigods - born of a divine and a mortal parent, these heroic figures are mortal, but can achieve power beyond any regular human. So far, these people don't know their lineage and seem normal to the untrained eye, but all have the potential to go far.

    Gods of Olympus
(These are the main gods of the Greek pantheon, but you don't have to choose one - Eros, Thanatos, Hypnos and Asclepius are all as valid choices as Zeus and Poseidon. Or, you could pick a meddling deity from a different pantheon):

    Name: Talpharos
    Gender: Male
    Sexual Orientation: Straight
    Polis: Athens
    Godly Parent: Aphrodite
    Appearance/Pic:
A man in his early twenties, with short brown hair and green eyes. Tanned due to all the time he has spent outdoors hunting and training.

    Background:
Talpharos does not know his parents. All he knows is that his mother vanished shortly after his birth, and his father died from an illness an year or two later. Thus he was taken in by his grandparents, who took care of him until they both died from old age.

Since he was little Talpharos was interested in archery and would sometimes sneak out to train with a bow. When he grew up a bit he started using his skill to hunt animals, thus he learned how to track them (and then, with a bit of training, learned how to track people too).

As he grew up Talpharos gradually learned how to haggle with merchants and get better deals. He also got some training with a spear, for cases when a bow was not the best choice.

Still young, Talpharos does not have any notable achievements just yet, though now that he no longer has any living family left (that he knows of) he is looking to prove himself and possibly make a name for himself.

    Belongings:
    Basic Clothes and Shoes
    Simple Leather Cloak
Expensive Perfume (high-quality perfume received as a gift from a merchant Talpharos saved from some bandits, it usually helps with persuading and seducing women. Smells like a mix of flowers)
    Armor: Simple leather armor
    Weapons:
    A Hunting Bow (and arrows)
    A basic Bronze Spear
    Drachma: 20

    Combat Skills:
Spear Mastery I (skilled in fighting with a spear)
Archery I (skilled in using a bow)
    Non-Combat Skills:
Haggling I (skilled in haggling over prices and getting better deals from merchants)
Tracking I (skilled in tracking – both people and animals)
Stealth I (skilled in moving silently and in hiding)
    Supernatural Powers:
Aphrodite (Parent): Charm Mortal (a power that allows him to more easily charm mortals and get them to agree with him on stuff, be it seducing a pretty woman, placating an angry man, or simply getting a greedy merchant to agree to a better deal. Does not work on gods and demigods.)
    Flaws:
Boobies! (and Butts) – he is easily distracted by big tits (and to a lesser extent by shapely butts)
Stubborn – he is stubborn and does not give up easily. This may seem like a good thing... until he starts chasing after a woman and trying to seduce her

Preferred Kinks: Big Breasts, Titfuck, Blowjob, Footjob, Handjob, Rimjob, Anal, Consensual Maledom, Consensual Femdom, Shooting his load on a woman's body (especially her tits, face or ass). Maybe Hairjobs, too, once he gets to actually try that sort of thing
(Because he is not looking to father a bunch of bastards he generally avoids vaginal and prefers to cum outside)
Forbidden Kinks: Scat, Farting, Bad Breath, Vomit, Diapers, Amputation, Gore, Vore
Limited Kinks: Kinks he is not interested in under normal circumstances, though he won't object if other people want to indulge in them:
Watersports – normally he is not into this sort of thing, but he might be willing to try it if he is drunk enough, or if the right woman asks him nicely enough. Probably won't come up, but putting this here just in case
Rape – he's not into actual rape – consensual "rape" as part of a roleplay is fine – but if he is angry enough and drunk enough he might get quite forceful with a lady that manages to piss him off enough

    Name: Pelagia
    Gender: Female
Polis (City of Origin - can be from outside Greece): Corinth
    Godly Parent: Iris, the Rainbow
    Appearance/Pic:
    Pelagia.png
    Background:
Raised by her father, a fisherman, in Corinth, Pelagia practically lived on the sea. From a young age, she was taught all there was to know about the oceans off the city’s coast. She learned of the fish and how to catch them. She learned of man’s ships and how to navigate them. She learned of the countless dangers hiding within the blue depths of Poseidon’s domain and how to evade them. All of this, she took to naturally, possessing the skills of an average sailor by the age of eight. However, Pelagia was never taught about her mother, Iris. Of course, she was aware of the Rainbow Messenger of the Olympians as a goddess—Iris is the consort of Zephyrus the West Wind and served the Olympians while her sister joined the Titans—but Pelagia’s father never answered her questions about her mother.

Having come of age a few years ago, Pelagia is now a fairly prominent captain of her own galley, making a tidy living as a merchant and transporter of goods and men. Despite her success, she can’t help but think that she is destined for something more than this. Ferrying cargo is fine enough, but, with her skill and speed, she ought to be out discovering new, distant shores, or perhaps making war as an admiral. Sticking to the Pelopennesian trade routes would never promise such things, yet Pelagia still hesitates to leave the peninsula for long.

(1 Point between the three categories to spend on a unique and quality item - equipment will be gained during the game. Characters start with 20 Drachma, the currency of Ancient Greece) unless they exchange their point for an additional 100)
    Belongings:
Syntychia—a well-built galley more than adequate for the Mediterranean. The ship, built to Pelagia’s specifications, is her pride and joy.

    Armor:

    Weapons:

    Drachma:
    20

(3 Points shared between Combat and Non-Combat Skills. Flaws can add another 2 points. 1 Supernatural power available to be chosen - will become available in the RP when your character learns of their nature, with more being gained as game progresses. The power should be related to your chosen god, at least loosely.)
    Combat Skills:
Agile—Pelagia is dexterous, sure-footed, and quick to react

Enduring—Pelagia doesn’t tire very easily. Exertion which would have most men exhausted after an hour requires a longer period of time before she starts to feel the effects of fatigue.

    Non-Combat Skills:

Sailing 2—Pelagia has intimate knowledge of the sea gained through her father’s tutelage and her own experience.

Captain—Motivating a cohort of rowers to outrun a storm requires noteworthy leadership ability, something Pelagia learned the hard way when she first started captaining her own voyages.

    Supernatural Powers:

Flight—As a descendant of Oceanus and Pontus, Pelagia is closely tied to the sea, but Iris and her sisters possess the ability to fly. Like her mother, Pelagia’s deific powers are more suited to the air than to the oceans. However, Pelagia’s wings are green, not the seven-colored rainbow adorning Iris.

    Flaws:

Yearning/Wanderlust—More than anything, Pelagia seeks excitement and adventure. For each day she spends in a location, it grows more and more difficult to resist the temptation to simply leave, even if she has something or someone tying her there.

Landsickness--Some people become nauseous if they spend too long at see. Pelagia, however, falls ill if she spends a night's sleep on land without the rolling waves of the Mediterranean (or another large body of water) rocking her.

    Preferred Kinks:

[I’ll add these as I think about it more.]

    Forbidden Kinks:

    Scat, Gratuitous sexual violence

Looks great to me so far. I'll have to read up on Iris, she's one of the gods I'm less familiar with.

She's a minor one. I almost went with Hermes, but then I found Iris and got inspired. Plus Hermes is a better fit for a wise character or a trickster than for Pelagia.

    Name: Brute, Princess, and Meek
    Gender: Hermaphradite (they/them)
Polis (City of Origin - can be from outside Greece): Ephyra
    Godly Parent: Cerberus
    Appearance/Pic:
    Brute
    [IMG]
    Meek
    [IMG]
    Princess
    [IMG]
    Background:

The madwoman of Necromanteion: They were found as a baby on the steps of the ancient temple with little more than a heavy chain collar around their neck. As a baby, they were...difficult to say the least, and were never adopted into another family or really accepted. They largely wandered and fed on scraps and the collar around their neck grew to adjust to their size as they grew. Once they learned to speak, their "madness" became more known. three personalities developed within them. They each chose a disparaging name for the other personalities and so an antagonistic relationship between the three began.

Brute - A haughty personality with blazing eyes. When Brute is in control, she becomes a rough and shameless woman. Unafraid to pick fights, the brazen woman doesn't afraid of anything. However, she isn't the smartest cookie in the jar and would rather brute force her way through problems than find other solutions. She has a particularly hateful opinion of Meek who she sees as weak and pathetic.

Princess - Perhaps some subconscious part of the madwoman knows there's some divine blood in her veins...Even though it may not be the kind most expect. Princess enjoys extravagance. Although few would allow her such benefits due to her purported madness. She would do anything for some nice clothes and food and enjoys dressing up as such. Unlike her Brutish or Meekish sides, Princess enjoys speaking to people and exudes more charisma and social skills than either of her other personalities. Princess sees Brute as stupid and hates her approach to things.

Meek - The cool quiet one. Meek would love nothing more than to be left alone to her own devices of reading and wandering the quiet streets in the evening. She has a more analytical approach to her problems than her other two personalities. Although she has access to the collective memories of the other two personalities, Meek is technically a virgin, having never had the bravery to go out of her comfort zone. Both Brute and Princess scare her more than she feels any resentment towards them. However, Princess intimidates her the most as she could never imagine being as socially able as her.

Although they have different approaches to the problems at hand, they do not have unique skills or abilities above and beyond what any of the other personalities are capable of. Meek might hate fighting and not want to unless her life is at risk, but she can still throw a punch that's just as powerful as Brute. The same goes for Brute's Charisma and Princess's Intelligence. They share the same memories, so they remember what happened the previous day. Each day a new personality takes over which has led to them often playing tricks on the other personalities by leaving them in compromising positions or uncomfortable situations. These rarely lead to physical harm though as they're all smart enough to realize that they are the same person after all, even if they'd rather not be. Of course, since which personality takes over is random...It often leads to the personalities being caught up in tricks and pranks meant for other personalities. This has only caused more resentment between the three.

The collar around their neck seals their divine powers and leaves them looking like a normal human. They cannot remove the collar Themselves nor can it be removed easily by others. However, should it be removed, then their origin would become quite clear to the wise. Canine ears and tail. A trio of personalities within their head. Daughter of the Hound of Hades, Cerberus. It is unlikely that the divine dog with debatable intelligence had much of a stake in the crisis. However, the dog is ever loyal to his master and Hades surely has plenty of reason to get involved.

(1 Point between the three categories to spend on a unique and quality item - equipment will be gained during the game. Characters start with 20 Drachma, the currency of Ancient Greece) unless they exchange their point for an additional 100)
Belongings: Simple Tunic, tattered cloak, worn sandals, a heavy iron collar that glows faintly red in the darkness.
    Armor:
    Weapons:
brawling gloves with a toughened mesh to help deflect weapon blows with their hands to some effect.
    Drachma: 20

Flaws can add another 2 points. 1 Supernatural power available to be chosen - will become available in the RP when your character learns of their nature, with more being gained as game progresses. The power should be related to your chosen god, at least loosely. )
    Combat Skills:

    Brawler **

    Non-Combat Skills:

    Sneaking**
    Seduction*

    Supernatural Powers:

Bestial Rage - Brute temporarily takes over for the course of the transformation as they fly into an aggressive rage. Their body shifts to better represent their heritage. Fur covers more of their body and sharp claws spout from their fingertips and their physical strength and endurance increase.
You wouldn't like her when she's angry.

    Flaws:

Splintered Psyche - Three Heads are usually better than one, but in this case, they have three heads inside of one. Each personality has different preferences and personalities and therefore can be wildly unpredictable from day to day. Their "Madness" also renders them ostracised by those familiar with their condition.

    Preferred Kinks:
    Hurt me, daddy
    Forbidden Kinks: Lol

I might be getting a little bit over my head here, but I thought of this character while at work and became quite enamored with the idea to the point where I spent...35+ of my credits at Nightcafe in order to get some neat AI art. contrary to these images, she normally looks human...Although she does get the doge ears when her collar is removed. Something that I kind of presumed would happen when her heritage is revealed.

I don't expect her conception to be something that's represented in a sexual manner. Nor do i expect any sexual things between her and her father should they ever meet. Cerberus is a dog whom I believe has never really been portrayed as having the intelligence to surpass the threshold of The Harkness Test...Although he isn't technically a deity in the traditional sense, I would argue that since his grandparents are the primordial deities Phorcys and Gaia (through Echidna and Typhon respectively) would make him closer to a Titan than one of the Greek Pantheon deities...Divine in a different way. Might make some interesting dynamics.

I figure that Hades is probably going to effectively take the place of Cerberus as a father figure/mentor/guide/etc. So why didn't I just make her the child of Hades? Mostly because I ship Hades and Persephone and Hades is a better person/god than Zeus ever will be. Fight Me.

Anyway, let me know if there's something screwy. I put a lot of disconnected thoughts into this post over several hours. Not sure if it's overreaching, or if the dissociative personality disorder is a dealbreaker.

  8. Tjf

    Tjf CHYOA Guru

Definitely not overreaching or a dealbreaker - I really like the amount of effort that went into this, and the concept of a multiple personality character is interesting, plus three personalities to represent Cerberus is a fun idea. As for Cerberus, yeah, my interpretation is that Cerberus is definitely more intelligent than an animal, but still does not pass the Harkness test - but the inherent divinity makes him being able to foster a half human child not implausible, given how wacky Greek myth gets (If Aphrodite can be born from Uranus' severed testicles, basically anything goes, lol.) I was actually mentioning to someone earlier in DMs that Persephone would probably be one of the hardest goddesses to seduce for that reason. She's usually portrayed in modern stuff as hating her husband, but there's no real evidence for that in the myth - In fact, I think at one point Hades gave her the choice to leave the relationship and go back to Olympus permanently and she chose to stay out of love. Hades himself is very chill - he brought the wife of one of Heracles' friends back to life basically because Heracles asked nicely.

I'm doing some errands now, so I haven't read your character sheet through entirely, but from what I've seen it all looks good to go.

My original plan was to do something similar to Cerberus from Helltaker. Which is represented as technically the opposite of what I wrote out with three bodies and one soul (instead of three souls and one body). However, I feel like playing three different characters would be actually overreaching and probably overwhelming.

    Name: Rhea Decma(Daughter of Lucas)
    Gender: Female
Polis (City of Origin - can be from outside Greece): Manga Graecia
    Godly Parent: Cronos
    Appearance/Pic: [IMG]
    Background:

Born as the second daughter of Lucas Decma, the family is almost equal parts famous and infamous for being powerful warriors. Much to her siblings respect or jealousy, she's said to be the strongest ever Decma. Something the nobles of Rome are happy to have under their service.

From the day she was born, she never slept. She swam the length of the sea of Rome to Greece. In iron armor. Fifty men came to assassinate her in the dead of night, and only three even had a chance to scream.

She wishes they would stop saying it.

There is truth to her being exceptional even among her family line, but she and her older sister seem to be the only ones who grasp she's still not nearly as good as everyone says. While her younger sisters and brothers love to gush about her talents and she does her best to show off for them, her relationship with her older sister remains somewhat strained due to something of a rivalry having formed over the constant favoritism by their parents and family.

As a bodyguard, she remains loyal, serious and to the point. It's her duty to serve and protect the nobility, even if they don’t particularly deserve it. For both her strength and loyalty and on some level just being someone they know their whole lives, it was no surprise she was chosen among the options in the praetorian guard to accompany the delegation.

(1 Point between the three categories to spend on a unique and quality item - equipment will be gained during the game. Characters start with 20 Drachma, the currency of Ancient Greece) unless they exchange their point for an additional 100)
Belongings: The bare minimum(She forgot them at home before leaving for the delegation)
    Armor: Praetorian guard armor
    Weapons: Spear, Cestus
    Drachma: 20

(3 Points shared between Combat and Non-Combat Skills. Flaws can add another 2 points. 1 Supernatural power available to be chosen - will become available in the RP when your character learns of their nature, with more being gained as game progresses. The power should be related to your chosen god, at least loosely. )
    Combat Skills:
    Spears**
    Swords*
    Hand to Hand*

    Non-Combat Skills:
    *
Cooking- A valuable practical skill for soldiers…and it’s fun. But she’ll kill anybody who sees her enjoying it and even looks like they’ll mention it.

    Supernatural Powers:
Future Sight: Rhea's connection with time give her the ability to see briefly a few minutes into the future, often being used to know her opponent's next move before they make it, allowing her to dodge strikes with uncanny ability almost on instinct. However, unlike divination, this only works in the area around her and she can only move as fast as her body and mind can reflexively allow.

    Flaws:
    Overhyped:
While she is definitely skilled, there's no way she can truly live up to the near impossible bar set by people's expectations. However, she faces immense pressure and often puts herself in a position of over burdening herself.

Preferred Kinks: Noncon(not required by any means), breastplay, all the usual stuff.
Forbidden Kinks: The same hard nos are as usual, but I'll probably add rimming to the list. Just not at all into it.

    Appearance/Pic:

    Background:

The god jailer, Tartarus, was observing and not interfering into matters of Olympus and earth. He saw the conflict between gods long coming… Yet, he decided not to interfere… at least, not directly. Whoever won didn’t matter – Tartarus knew, that soon, new prisoners would be sent to him… But, he could influence the conflict… Each king, queen, hero, heroine, god, goddess who would be imprisoned in Tartarus, would greatly raise his prestige and power of influence.

He needed loyal agents who would act to further his goals… so he decided to pull a Zeus and impregnated a number of women.

One of the women he choose, was Queen of Aegina, Thalia. The island of Aegina was once visited by Zeus, who, seeing how few people were there, changed a numbed of ant into humans. They became fearsome warriors – Myrmidons. Queen Thalia gave birth to a boy, Prince Cleon. Fearing, that her husband would discover her infidelity, Queen Thalia assassinated him, and took control of an island, becoming Queen Dowager, a regent in the name of the Prince.

Prince Cleon grew up to be skilled warrior. He was master of Spear and Shield. Yet, it was his natural Charisma and beauty that made him incredibly popular… especially with women. Yet he was not without flaws. A few adventures with harlots, has made him realize that normal sex was just not for him… it was, just… boring. He also had an illness of royalty – natural arrogance and sense of superiority, which he hid well…

As years passed by, Prince Cleon was approaching hiss adulthood… and soon, he would become king...

Supernatural Powers: Tartarus Jailor - The power work only on sinful women. Jailor can invoke judgment, opening door/portal to Tartarus for some time. During this time, he can interrogate a female. The effects of Tartarus make it so the interrogated person becomes more submissive to interrogator the more he touches her, and can't lie, but can try and hide things. Each crime, makes Tartarus' make a chain - it's strength depending on the crime's weight. By the end, when interrogator decides to finish the interrogation part he can either close the doors to Tartarus, or have the Tartarus shot chains to drag the criminal to Tartarus' cell - but only if the criminal is bound and admitted crimes. If captured, Jailor can decide the punishment as well as check on the prisoner from time to time.
If that power would be ever used on innocent, the Jailor will become target of divine punishment.

    Flaws:
    Fetishist –
Cleon, just can’t enjoy normal sex. There always needs to be twist for him to get in the mood. Danger, peril, bondage, fetish, domination, blackmail, danger of getting caught during sex, rough sex…
Prince – with social status, comes the fact that Cleon is recognizable. Going somewhere incognito is almost impossible to him. Additionally, he also has a sense of superiority over others, due to his noble birth.

I'd say the power to send people to Tartarus would be something they'd be able to do later on - it's a bit OP to be able to just send people to Tartarus on a whim. Otherwise, very interested what you come up with.

Yeah, it's powerful tool, that's why I limited it to sinful and women.

At one instance I thought to make a somewhig like a lawyer throwing a book at the criminals during the curt cases~

Yeah, still little not sure about that power... have to work out a details.

Maybe something akin to wonder woman's lasso of truth? Where he can force truth by touching, interacting, fucking?
And judge/punish/imprison aspect... how to use that, while not moving to mind control?

I think this power is cool, but should come some cost. Maybe your character can't be certain that sinful is guilty or not, so for wrong accusations it could be punished?

I've made some additions to my character sheet, though still nto certain about some things such as Polis, Flaws, and especially Equipment.

Also, damn, Aphrodite and Artemis are hot! Definitely my favorite of the goddesses, followed by Demeter, then Athena, and Hera in last place.

Polis is just where they're from - if you want to do some research and pick a place of significance you can, but you're fine to just pick a name or make one up.

Yeah, I found a good artist on Art Station. She also did a nice image of a genderbent Hephaestus that I liked:

    Poor Hera... Always last place...

I had a look at Wikipedia and at the list of ancient Greek cities, but I think I will stick with Athens for now, since my character's background is not dependent on where he grew up.

P.S.: That's another hot pic. You could use it for a daughter of Hephaestus, if you need one.
