Internet friends, could you have a look and let me know what you think of this premise? Its out of copyright classics, with erotic insertions. Given attention spans etc, I think these will all be short stories, or plays, or novellas at best. I'm trying hard not to spoil the actual story, and only adding content where I think I can improve on it! The first story up to test the water is "The Kiss" by Chekhov. this sounds like a fun idea. At least the first story was well done. As to the suggestions for other works, walter Scott's Ivanhoe is one I've always thought would benefit of this kind of improvement. Of course it is full length novel. So maybe doing an an excerpt or two might be a possibility.
Thanks - thats a good call about Ivanhoe. I think I will probably have to include chapters / excerpts of larger works. Shorter ones out of copyright are in too limited a supply. ... and thanks for the feedback on the first one.
