It seems I am moving up in the world. This is even more opulent than the apartment Cameron provided me. Trish stares in realization. “Will I still see him? For so long, Cam has provided for me it would be a shame to ghost him.”
Hector did not speak for a moment. "Your life, as a mortal, has finished. Officially, you will be either missing or dead." He paused as he slowly approached Chloe and took her into his arms. "I am sorry but for your own safety and those of your family, your life in the mortal world, has finished."
I don’t know which is worse. Them finding me or them never knowing. I go to cry but find on a single red tear slides down my cheek. “Hector, where do I go from here?”
The vampire embraced her, and she could his body becoming warming, heart beating... it was not a life, but an imitation... for her. "We will figure it out..." He whispered into her ear as he embraced her.
Chloe wrapped her arms around Hector. This was her new reality. Her old life, the sugar daddies, the parties, and the dresses were all in the past. Chloe felt her body begin to exhaust. She could never remember being this tired, even during college, when she had spent all night studying. "Hector, I feel like I can barely stand. Why have I grown tired all of a sudden?"
"The day comes." The man whispered into her ear. He picked Chloe up and carried her to the bed. "Sleep now." He said as he laid her on the bed. He leaned over her and kissed her forehead, as she fell into dreamless sleep. ... She opened her eyes and looked at the window. She realised that the tiredness was gone. Entire day passed.
Chloe checked the closet. It was full of outfits in her size. “A lot of these are a bit… outdated,” Chloe finally settled on a black top with black jeans. “Not bad,” she said as she admired her reflection. “Wait I thought I didn't cast a… hmm something else to ask Hector.” Chloe headed to the door and opened it.
As Chloe exited the room... Her room. She realised that she was not sure were to go, as the apartment was eerily quiet. Dead quiet - her mind whispered a weak joke. For she was also dead. Spoiler: Perception 7 vs dc 10 fail Chloe looked around the corridor, noting various doors. The place was not that big, but still a little con- "Are you alright miss?" Chloe froze as she heard a voice behind her. As she turned around, she noticed a woman, slightly older then her wearing maid clothes.
The blond maid bowed her head, with respect. "Pleasure to serve, Miss Belovoa." She straightened, her eyes slightly lowered in a sign of submission. "Master is working in his office at the moment. Shall I take you there, Miss?" She asked with a calm and polite tone.
The woman paused, then bowed. "My apologies, Miss Belovoa." She said as she gave a deeper bow. Then grabbed the helms of her dress raising it a little as she curtsied. "I am Carla Weiner, a maid in service of Master Dimides."
Warwick thinks to himself, applying himself to an academic solution to distract from the moral implications of the murder he just committed. There have been occasions where he's had to smuggle things here - alcohol, women and even drugs on occasion. He's always been smuggling things in, rather than out, though... "McKay, the security guy down in the car park, sometimes switches off the cameras to let...working girls...come up here after hours." I say. "I could pay him to go take a smoke break like normal, and we could bring her to my car. Alternatively..." I think. "I know Doctor Lang a few doors down also has a thing for his students. Lana takes a few of his classes. We...We could make it look like it was him she came to see tonight, not me. He'd take the blame."
Siti smiled. "See? I knew you had it in you~" She clapped happily. "Though, since the cause of death is what it is, I would avoid anything connecting you to murder - even the place." She hummed. "So, assuming we go with first solution, and police will not stop you to find a body in a trunk, what then?" She asked, curiously.
Warwick thinks to himself quietly. "Well, I keep towels in my car to keep from staining the leather when...you know. We cover the trunk in them and lie her there, so there's no physical evidence in the car." He says, trying to cover his bases, but still a little panicked. "There's a building on the edge of campus. One of the maintenance buildings." He says. "It has a furnace. The Egyptology Department sometimes uses it to incinerate fake artifacts - we get a lot of them, people trying to make a buck by pawning off some crappy pharaoh bust. That kind of thing." He scratches the bald patch in the middle of his scalp. "We could... Well... We could make use of it."
Siti smiled. "Oh, you see? You can easily find a solution if you put your mind to it~ Very good~" She tapped his arm. "Now, do you wish to go through with your plan... or should I take care of the carion?" She asked with her head tilted to the side.
"Indeed, Miss Belovoa. I do serve Master Hextor Dimides. Please, follow me." She said colly, as she turned and started walking down the corridor. Soon she stopped in front of a door. "This is where Master works. Shall I announce you, Miss?" The woman asked.
"Of course, Miss Belova." The maid said as she walked to the door and knocked lightly. There was a pause, then a quiet 'come in'. The blond maid opened the door. "Miss Belova has woken up and is here to see you, sir." the stoic woman has announced. "Let her in." There was a voice from inside, a somewhat eager one. The maid stepped aside and turned to young vampires. "Master will see you now." She announced to Chloe.
