Marcus raised an eyebrow. "So you say..." He said slowly, his lip slowly traveling up. "I don't think Hector would raise you just for your looks, so you can't be mentally impaired." He said slowly, his lips traveling up, showing his teeth. "So, I can only guess, that you are being deliberately vague." He paused. "Is it lack of trust? Or something specific?" He asked curiously.
I study the new man. He’s hard to read. “I was always taught that expounding upon other people’s business was not polite. Especially not with strangers.”

It felt like my hands were working independently, separate from what my mind wanted. I unzipped my dress and let it fall to the ground. I stood before the elder in just the sexy underwear I had put on to entice Lexi later this evening. “Is this what you desired?”
Marcus hummed appreciatively as he looked over her body. "You have great body and nothing to be ashamed of. Drop the underwear and then lead me to Hector." The man commanded.

"Hmm~" Marcus hummed as he walked around Chloe, inspecting her body. "At least you are something to look on." He said with a note of admiration that made her shudder from happiness, but also distaste that made her want to do more for him. "Now, take me to Hector." The blond turned, eager to please, and started walking down the corridor, naked, sans her legwear, until she reached Hector's office. She pushed the door open, without knocking and found Hector pushing Clara against the window and thrusting into her with joy. "Having fun, Hector?" Marcus asked as he walked in, making the other man pause and turn to the duo, with narrowed eyes. For a moment, his eyes landed on Chloe, but soon, his entire attention was on Marcus. "Marcus. To what do I owe the visit?" He asked.
I step out of the way and watch. I see Clara pull up her tights and straighten her skirt before making eye contact. Her surprised look is quickly replaced with one of hate as she notices Marcus. Marcuse leans back and chuckles. “Several things. Some old…” and then he looks my way with a malice that reminds me I don’t have any defense. “some new.”
Hector fixed his clothes- "Oh don't mind me, not like there I something I did not see before." Marcus laughed, then glanced at Clara. "Still keeping this sow? I got rid of my spoils a long time ago." He smirked at Clara. "Oh, it was so much fun seeing their desperation, hearing their pleadings and moans-" "Enough!" Hector hissed. "What are you here for?" "Well, there is a business I was about to talk about-" He paused, then Chloe felt her hair being pulled, and a moment later she was on her knees, then thrown on the ground. "But then, I found her. Care to explain?" The man asked. "Because I doubt that the Prince allowed a raise of a childe~"
I wince at their back-and-forth, still unable to speak. It hurts me that I misspoke. What is a prince, and why does Hector need his permission? I need to speak… “S… suh… Sire,” I manage to get out feeling like the weight of the world compelled me to keep my mouth shut.
"Silence." Marcus's word was enough to make Chloe slam her mouth shut. The two men looked at each other, Hector was not speaking. Marcus sighed. "If... the Prince knows about this, your little Childe losing her head is the minimum that will happen. You losing your head will be expected." Marcus said, anger lacing his words. "If the prince knows about this-" Hector started slowly, but was interrupted by Marcu's angry explosion. "When! When!" He screamed, making Chloe and Clara flinch. "Not if! When! And this is also my and our Sire's heads on the line!" He snarled.
I felt a force like I had never known clamped my mouth shut. Marcus and Hector's argument continued. I felt so insignificant. Others knew of me. The Seamstress for one. Now, this dark, brooding Marcus. Surely, a compromise was in the best interest of several of those like me. Hector had to have had a plan to introduce me; otherwise, he would have moved me from the city. Marcus was playing at something. He wanted something from Hector and would use me as the lever to force it out of him.
For a moment, the two were silent. Marcus was the first one to break it. "I would ask you what you were thinking, but knowing you, you obviously didn't! This one!" He pointed at Chloe. "You embraced her in a moment of passion, damn the consequences, did you not?!" "I have the situation under control!" Hector stepped forward, fire in his eyes. Marcus was quiet for a moment. "Like you had with Elena?" At Marcus's short retort, Hector took a step back, as if he was struck, his skin becoming paler.
I feel terror. Up until now, Hector has been like a God to me. To see him falter. Puts me in great distress. A single blood tear rolls down my cheek as I stand idly by naked, watching the two elders argue.
Hector opened his mouth- "Enough." Marcus interrupted. "We have a mission to fulfil, have you forgot? You will tell me your plan on the way. If I am satisfied, we will go to our sire, where you will present your plan." Hector narrowed his eyes as he looked at Marcus. "Very well." As he said that, the invisible hand that held Chloe suddenly disappeared, allowing her to breath.
As the hold over me is released I am suddenly aware that I am standing there naked. I reach down and cover-up. “What is going on? Hector, who is this?”
Hector sighed as Marcus snorted. "Of course, you would fail at basic introductions." Marcus spoke before turning to Chloe. "I am Marcus. Kindred and... brother to Marcus by a common sire." He frowned. "When exactly has he embraced you, Childe?" He turned to Hector. "Does our Sire no?" After a moment of silence, Marcus snorted. "Of course not." He then narrowed his eyes, before shaking his head. He turned back to Chloe, waiting for her reply.
“Wait, brothers? So that means the same, sire? Oh my!” I spout as the gravity of the situation hits me. “I’m like…” I stop for a second to think. “… a week old by your reckoning. By the way, does this mean I have to call you uncle?”
Marcus' lips twitched and he was stopping himself from smiling. He looked thoughtful and amused. "Does that mean." He started slowly. "That you are calling Hector daddy?" He asked, glancing at his 'sibling' who looked less then amused. Chloe could also notice Clara's hand twitching.
Chloe knew she needed to traverse this carefully. “Isn’t sure another word for father? Sorry, I tend to assume things. Perhaps it is different among our kind. But he is responsible for this life I now have, so if you have made a mistake, you can no doubt see it is an honest one.” With these words, I found I was more interested in Clara's response than anyone else.
