The horror stories of the Black Hollow city

So I started a horror series - The horror stories of the Black Hollow city.

Ideas for stories (discounting the ones in the introduction):

-Writer, a story about a horror writer who came to Black Hollow. Currently being written. The plot takes some (just some) inspirations from the movie 'In the Mouth of Madness'. Planned 2 endings.
-Asylum, where the patients are healed through sex, electricity and sex toys. Plot inspired by Shutter Island.

I'm looking for contributors, story ideas and an appropriate image for the cover.

Well, since we´re talking about a sleepy-but-creepy New England town, I think at least one story about witchcraft is needed...
Maybe you could go way back and tell the story of settlers, a bit like the film "The VVitch". But with fucking.

I would be interested in contributing, but at the moment I can onlythink of an Asylum story, and I wouldn´t want to preemtively steal your ideas, so I´ll wait and see what you end up doing with your take on it. Or until I come up with something different.

I´ve started working on the Haunted House story, if it´s OK with you. I´m a bit busy irl at the moment, so it might take a while, I hope you don´t mind...

 

Oh, that won't be hard... They're Lovecraft Originals... ****, that sounds like some sort of creepy clothing brand.

 

So I may have slightly forgotten about this one but got two new chapters up and I think I actually know where this story is going now.

 

Hey, no offence meant, but perhaps we could change the title to just "Horror Stories of Black Hollow City", I feel like it sounds a bit more natural that way, what do you guys think?

 

Non taken. English is not my native language so I might have missed some 'unnatural' sounding of the title.
What the rest of you think? Does "Horror Stories of Black Hollow City" sound better than "The horror stories of the Black Hollow city"?

I changed the title - sorry for delay, but I was away.

 

I would also suggest maybe changing the cover photo to something a bit more sexual.

I have found that having the right cover pic really helps boost the number of people reading your story.

I don't dislike the current cover, just suggesting ways to maybe boost the number of people seeing the story.

 

While I fully agree, there is one problem: finding such a pic - and believe me, I searched for something spooky and sexy (at the same time) and it ain't easy to find.
But if you have proposition/idea - I'm more than happy to see it

I think I have some more but my hardrives are a mess.

With the kind of open ended style of the story I would go with something that is maybe more suggestive. (The Incase one of the woman posing in the link is the one I would use) than going for out and out sex.

 

The one with the group sex/debauchery and the floating book/magic has potential...
