You might be surprised but when I'm looking for inspiration I browse Wikipedia: you never know what interesting new factoid will trigger the urge to write.

EDIT: YouTube's another good one, lots of great music and visuals.

I just stumble over things throughout my days. Most of it I save at the back of my head for later use. Biggest inspiration would be music though, funnily enough the kind without or with minimal lyrics. I tend to create completly overblown scenarios from small inspirations.

For visual porn I have a link on my profile page (which is further linked to in my signature) to my imagefap account where I've curated many pictures and galleries that are to my interest.

For authors and literature I have several sources I won't list here (though I'm willing to link to interested parties), simply because raceplay is extremely niche, and a couple unintentionally (?) sexy academic articles on the sexploitation of black woken.

Since you specifically mentioned porn stars, I find Mia Khalifa, Skin Diamond, and Ana Foxxx all very brave, beautiful, and inspiring...

For me it's middle of the road movies. Ones where you're think if they had did just a few things different they would have been great. I then try and tell stories that fix those failings.

    This right here.
Genuinely great stuff I find does not make for great inspiration. It just sort of makes you feel a bit intimidated. Then there´s the fact that really great stuff tends to be, erm, not porn, so trying to emulate it in erotic writings means that there´ll be lots of stuff inbetween the sex, which can be a problem for readers who come here for a crafty wank and not to read five pages of world and character building...
Mediocre or downright shitty culture is inspiring. It makes you think "I could do that! I could do that BETTER!".
I´d find it difficult and daunting to make a porno-story inspired by, say, Pulp Fiction or 2001: A Space Odyssey or whatever, but I´d be pumped to write one inspired by Space Mutiny or Yor: The Hunter from the Future or similar schlock.
Actually, that last one sounds like a really good idea...

Whatever comes to me throughout the days. I save in a cabinet in the back of the mind and use for later use. Books, movies, porno, real life, whatever floats my boat that is my inspiration.

I like novels, RPG books and whatever movies and TV shows I am watching at the time. I let them all influence me, but I try not to rip any of them off. In the case of the fiction I am writing for profit I always try to research the marketplace and research my subjects. If I write a scene about dressage (what I am working on right now for a lesbian book) I want to know the terminology, the gear, and call on my own experiences with horseback riding.

This isn't exactly a source for "inspiration" per se, but it's proven extremely useful because I actually suck at coming up with character names:

    http://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/

The website linked above has a name generator; you just indicate what genre of name you're looking for, and it comes up with it. It not only has name generation for just about every real-life culture you could think of, it also has generators for names of monsters, robots, demigods, pirates, cavemen... and not just people, but place names and names of things like swords and spacecraft. I needed a name for a stuck-up French nobleman; three clicks brought me Lord Bertrand de Pomeroy.

I have a folder full of porn .webms that I have going on my second monitor whilst I listen to the Peaceful Piano playlist on spotify.

real life. I see a MILF or some ditzy girl in real life, I imagine the fun I could have with her if I could stop time or control minds!

Do you ever stop to imagine what SHE would feel in that event? The violation, betrayal, fear, pain, and confusion...?

Do you ever stop interrupting discussions to shout your viewpoints into the room? What part about 'To each their own' is so fucking harmful to you that people cannot even fantasize about their kinks?

What's next, posting Bible verses and telling us we're going to hell? This is an erotic fantasy site with stories about incest and non-consensual stories among others. Who are you to try to make us feel guilty?

To many around here, including myself, the violation *is* the erotic part. The fact that the violator doesn't care or is amused or whatever or even if they feel bad... Many things only compound the victims violation. But that violation is the focus. It is the interesting, tantalizing, sexy social piece.

So, why, yes. My fantasies tend to stray to sexual sadism, so as a matter of fact I may very well "... stop to imagine what she would feel in that event".

A concerned citizen: nothing more, nothing less and nothing else.

I disagree with the content you post, I am personally of the opinion that you are contributing to everything we've spent the past 250 years trying to put an end to for good and sufficient reasons; oppression, prejudice, racism, rape-culture, etc. However, while I will argue with you about the detrimental nature of that content till we are both blue in the face and drop from exhaustion, I am only one person, a single individual, just as you are, and have no authority to stop you. That said, you (collectively), likewise, have no athority to stop me. I will remain civil in my decent, but though I may be singular in that decision I will continue to remind you and everyone else that the content you are creating, consuming, and encouraging is evil, in one of its purest forms.

The very fact that you dislike me reminding you of that indicates that at some level you already know it is wrong. Perhaps making you remember that will have no longer term effects; but it could, so, come what may: I'll keep reminding people of the truth of the situation.

    Pax.

I think the content itself that's created around here is a pretty diluted form of evil, rather than pure. Just saying.

In fact there's a number of things we do daily, support actively, (economically) that are far more harmful (ie evil) without thinking about it.

Fantasies are fun. They can be therapeutic.

    Actions can be bad.

The reason people dislike your dissent is that you're kind of a prune faced curmudgeon, shaking your finger while everyone else is just trying to have a harmless good time.

    Yes, harmless.
