so I'm probably gonna wind up facepalming as to how obvious it is but how do u add pics to the thumbnail of ur story? I remember seeing the option once but cant for the life of me remember where it is.
You can change/add a story cover on the Edit Story page like described here. To edit your story, go to My Stories, find your story, click the ellipsis on top right of it and choose "Edit Story"
ah, of coarse its that simple is there a way to alter the pics position? as in drag it to the left so that it isnt being shoved off-screen to the right?
On the introduction page of your story, the image should be uncropped and centered. Depending on the size of your device, the position could be different. If it is too big, you could resize the picture before uploading it. The thumbnails get cropped automatically. If you want to get a specific part of the picture for the thumbnail, you have to crop it before uploading to get the desired result. Well, it's not quite easy to find if you don't know where to look at
Any picture program/editor should allow you to resize your picture, cutting off edges etc. Just save the original separately and play around with it, see what works so you can center the part you want.
