I was wondering if it would be possible to show the average word count for both authors and stories. Nothing major, but i just think it could help get a better idea before starting to read something. It happened to me to remain a bit deluded by stories showing a 50+ chapters depth, whilst the most of them were sigle line of text.
I Second this motion: even chapters I write which are just bridges between other chapters have more content than this!
Yes. Counting words while writing wouldn't even load the server. Counting for statistics should be done on the server, though I think that it wouldn't be a big problem as the counting is only done once when saving the chapter.
