(YEP) as valerie walks inside the prison she see's several rats the size of her foot skitter across the floor, as she walks even further in she hears a rattling in the distance and screaming from inside the prison
Using the flames of her sword to light the corridor Valerie makes her way to the spot where the rattling is coming from. As she walks she keeps looking around her, to the front, the sides, the back and even above her, not wanting to get surprised by something dropping on her from above. (OOC: I'm going to assume Valerie was able to identify the two scrolls and now knows which is which.)
(yep she was) as she walks down the hallway the screaming seems to get louder and louder in a familiar vioce, yet valerie cannot tell who it is. as valerie gets closer and the screaming gets louder that she suddenly hesitates before the have to long
More alert than ever for traps and danger, and gripping her sword tightly, Valerie slows down and tries to approach the source of the screaming undetected. (OOC: Not sure what you mean by “before the have to long”. Normally when you make a typo I can at least guess what you meant to write, but in this case I've got nothing.)

(OOC: That's alright, I am tired myself, so is will be my final post for the moment. Seems like a good place to stop, anyway.) The sudden silence is unnerving. Valerie hesitates for a few brief moments, then decides to keep going. More alert than ever for traps and danger, and gripping her sword tightly, she slows down and tries to approach the place the screaming was coming from undetected.
as she approaches the cell further in she begins to be surrounded by pitch black....as she loses orientation she hears a voice call out to her "HEY,LADY,HELP!!!"
Note to self: Learn some sort of night vision spell to be able to see in the dark without giving away your position. Valerie makes a note to herself, then, not willing to take chances because she remembers there are supposed to be enemies in the prison, she quietly chants a few words and a small ball of light appears, floating above her head. It will last a few minutes, moves along with her and illuminates everything in a radius of two meters – enough to let her see her surroundings. It also makes her easy to spot, but beggars can't be choosers. Now that she can see again she investigates the source of the voice.
as she checks the area she sees a familiar form! its the high elf from the tavern. he is looking straight at her and smiles ironicllly "hey welcome to my new abode,I could use your help getting out before the rats com"
“Well, if it isn't the guy that knocked out a bunch of armed men and angry dwarves. Fancy meeting you here.” Valerie returns the elf's greeting. “Any suggestions how to get you out of there? I didn't see any jailers yet, so most likely they all ran away or got killed. And if there are any left I doubt they will let you go if I ask nicely. So, any ideas?”
"just open the door,its magically enchanted so only I cant open it!" as valerie looks at the door runes shine there
“Oh. Well, that's one way to keep a prisoner from escaping, I suppose...” Valerie examines the runes on the door for a bit, then hesitantly pulls it open.
as valerie opens the door the darkness surrounding them dissappates and the elf walks out slowly and extends his hand "I'm downpour foudre, I cannot thank you enough...whats going on outside? all the gaurds ran out there." downpour says with a smile while looking around as tregus finishes with the adventurers he gathers the armour...and walks outside with aurora and ir seeing what appear to him to be catlike beasts lying dead (you may become invulnerabble for one fight every day)
“My name is Valerie. Nice to meet you.” The brunette shakes the elf's extended hand. “Let's get out of here first – I'd rather not waste my time fighting the rats you mentioned if it can be avoided. I'll tell you what I know as we walk.” Valerie leads back the way she came. As they walk she starts relaying what she has learned so far. “The town is under attack, most likely by demons...” She gives a brief summary of what she has learned, starting with first seeing the burning buildings and the chimeras. Even as she talks she tries to remain alert and be on the lookout for any potential danger.
as you all walk out downpour points to valerie and says where we headed now? Demon hunting? or leaving the town? either way it seems like this place is in deep shit" as you look outside you see even more dead bodies on the ground and many houses have caught fire/or burned to the ground
“That's a difficult question. I need a bit more information before deciding.” As she says that Valerie takes out the enchanted map and examines it, trying to get at least some idea what the current situation is.
as valerie checks the map she sees a green dot at the hospital, to yellow dots in deeper in the city,near them are a vast array of different sizing red dots and green, but behind them lies a black dot and in the middle of the reds lies a smaller orange
Orange? The old man did not mention anything about orange when he was telling me about the map, only about golden, black, blue, and green. I wonder what orange is supposed to mean? Valerie wonders as she examines the map and tries to decide what to do next. “Well, I hope I don't regret this, but... I think we should at least take a look and see what is going on before we flee from the town. On the way we should keep an eye out for any civilians still here, as well as for anything of use to us – weapons, items, that sort of thing. We probably won't find anything, but you never know. Do you have any suggestions or objections to this idea?”
"well I did notice a weapon and armor shop around here....as well as an alchemists shop, and while they are burned down lets see what we can take, I at least need a stick cuase otherwise im useless w/o a weapon" as you look around you see the remnants of multiple shops and homes around you, you are unsure which is which amongst the rubble
“I don't have any spare equipment I could give you, so let's try finding the weapons and armor shop first. We should try to find any of the shop signs – that'll give us an idea where the shops were...” Valerie suggests as she starts looking around.
