Audrey breaks their hug, "Okay, gramps. I will. You just get some rest, okay?" She says in a worried tone, as she gets off the bed. Audrey smiles at her grandfather, as she leaves his room.
Audrey heads trough The Corridors with not much going on. She has a few ours left until her New Shift begins.
Something doesent let Jack sleep well. He wakes up and twists and turns in The Bed. Angeline sleeps deeply.
Jack gently got out of bed, trying not to disturb Angeline. He put on his underwear and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, wondering what was bothering him.
Jack cursed, something wasn’t right. He went back to the bedroom and put on his jumpsuit. He checked if any of the other electrical equipment was working in his home.
Jack went to the bed and nudged Angeline awake, ‘Hey, nothing is working anymore. I’ll go and check out the generators.’
Jack kissed Angeline on the cheek and left his home towards the generator room, wondering what was going on. If the corridors were too dark to see, he used his pip-boy flashlight.
As Jack reached The Generator Room he sees a shocking Scene: Half of The Room is under water from a leaking Pipe. His Pip Boy Alarms him Audibly from heavy Radioation.
Jack cursed and sealed the door, thinking about if they had an alarm system that might still be working.
“We would have died sooner or later anyway...im just speeding up The Process. Just following The Protocoll. When The Vault fails everyone Inside must Die“
He lets Jack turn around. Jack realizes its Keith, one of his Friends from The Security. He looks different now. Dark Shadows are under his eyes and his left Eye twitches. His Gun shakes slightly aswell.
‘Keith? What’s gotten into you, man? You look horrible, how long haven’t you slept?’ Jack said and kept his arms up as he turned around, trying to see if he could wrestle the gun from Keith and if the safety on the gun was engaged or not.
