So, for me, Chyoa is a bit of a return to a style I had long forgotten. I had run on BEarchive way way way back in the day and stopped writing for a good 20+ years. Finding Chyoa has brought back some of the joy in writing, although I know my stuff is far from perfect, I'm enjoying writing it. It's kinda funny, I usually can't wait to see what lanes on my story work and what don't. Wicker adds frequently to my only story and for that I appreciate him. Not sure I could write all this on my own, I suspect I'd grow tired. I sometimes wish I could re-find some of those old chains from the archive, but I suspect that'll be impossible.

Staying inspired has been the biggest challenge. Coming up with new themes is where I spend most of my time, often failing at finding the right idea. It's then I simply re-start on a new chain.

Hi, I came here from editthis.info where I wrote an RPG story with just short of 200 chapters; however, much of that was copy-paste because the site doesn't support variables or anything. So I came here and fiddled with the mechanics a bit before planning out a new story and implementing it. I don't get to update it very often, but when i do it's in chunks that relate to a particular scene.
If we're recommending stories, I really like Now Mother's Gone by JerkGently. There's something about that author's writing style that sucks me in and keeps me hooked, even if I'm not looking for erotica in particular. Subjects like incest are a little squeamish for me when framed so realistically, but this handles the gravity of the act with more maturity than normal.
Otherwise, I'm fine with pretty much anything as long as it has sufficient suspension of disbelief. Maybe that's why I prefer to write fantasy.

I find that the old adage of "Write what you know" applies. Or rather around here "Write what turns you on." Chances are if you think it's hot, somebody else does. And running out of inspiration used to be a problem, but then I discovered this ONE WEIRD TRICK... (Kidding...) Seriously though... Inspiration comes and goes. It tends to go for me when I'm depressed. That's when It's important IMHO to use the old inspirations until new ones pop in.

 

Yah, I hear you there. There are certain subjects I'm REALLY uncomfortable with on that one because it strikes too close to home. Dancing right up to the edge on it with what I'm doing now, so... yah. Course, that's why people want to read, I guess. They want to see the emotional tightrope.

 

I think having a forum like this goes a long way. Being fairly new to the site, seeing the attitude here is amazing. I shouldn’t risk the wrath but trolls don’t seem present here.

I have found some very random things work for me. When others hit the cord right, it’s insane. I find I write in hopes that others find it. The Nudge is my current story and I’m enjoying it but thinking of another story at the moment.

CMC has been my moniker for a long time. Originally celebrity_mc but that was a challenge on some fronts.

 

I am so glad a lot of people are taking a chance on this post and adding to it. I apologize deeply for not responding to you all, I'm mostly free in the weekends as weekdays I find myself running back and forth with daily activities and employment XD

Somehow, I never run out of inspiration for new stories while I rather want to continue existing stuff.

 

Hey, my name is Durzan, an aspiring author and composer (IE write music). and I am the primary author of 7 Days of Incest (shameless plug here; feel free to check it out and comment; note that I am also seeking contributions).

My primary purpose for writing on CHYOA is to help broaden my horizons, get rid of perpetual writer's block, and increase creativity and broaden my mind by writing and reading a ton of erotica (for artistic purposes as well as the occasional wank).

I wish to be active and interactive with those who read and/or write for my stories, as well as the stories of others! I also wish to heavily collaborate with my peers, as I feel like it leads to better quality stories on both sides.

I like Rape/Non-Con, and have a slight fetish for BDSM and Mind Control. I am not against willing stuff, provided it is written well and doesn't go ridiculously over the top.

I believe that regardless of what your intention is, you should always put forth your best effort. In the case of writing erotica, I believe that there should be plot, drama/conflict, and character development, as you aren't telling a story without those things. Even if people just wanna wank to it, doing so can only enhance the experience. I also believe that decent grammar and spelling is a must when writing.

So yeah, ask me anything!

All of your fantasies are fun ones... Course, these days I'm more into "Turned-con" than strict Non-con, but unfortunately, it's always done so poorly... durn it, now I have to write again, I SEE what you did there!

And absolutely agreed on the grammar and spelling. I still cringe at some of my earliest efforts that I haven't yet gone back and re-edited. A bad typo or sentence just sucks you out of the story, and I hate it when that happens.

Hello everyone. I am Talonias. Or at least, I am so on the erotic side of the internet xD. I've written erotic fiction for quite a while now, spreading myself across multiple sites such as Hentai Foundry, Adult Fiction, and so forth. I am a writer, as might be expected. (Obvious, right? xD) And even when it comes to non-porn, I've done a lot of work. I am not going to go too far into my work that isn't connected to this username since I don't really want people to find it and connect the two names together. Not that I have anything to hide, but I like to at least pretend that I am a normie, you know? Anyone who reads my work here will know that's not the case at all! I can't let my precious cover be broken!

But no, seriously. I am a writer and have been for years. I am sure the same is true for many of you. I like to consider myself fairly solid. I am not so arrogant as to say that I am good or great - that's for other people to decide, but I am okay, and I can meet the goal I set myself.

I write erotic fiction because I can. Because I think it's a branch of writing that gets seen as something dirty and low, but has been with us for as long as writing itself has been a thing. I am a writer, an author, and I want to explore that in many ways. And if people enjoy my work, no matter how they do, I am happy.

In terms of what I write, you're typically looking at blackmail, BDSM, humiliation, that sort of thing. Most things non-con, to be honest. I have also done work in softer, consensual BDSM writing too, but that's not my normal thing. I typically try to construct my stories to have a true narrative. I know that most people who read them are here for one reason and that's fine, but my goal is to have my work stand on its own, as an erotic story, living up to both those words.

I have a lot of writing projects, so I don't always get to update quickly, and my work here is more of a hobby than my other stuff, so I don't always have the time I would like for it.

My goals are... hmm, let's see. I'd like to write a story that people genuinely appreciate, and enjoy for the narrative itself as well as the porn.
