‘Kate already joked about going to a brothel to make money, guess she got what she wanted,’ Verne sighed, ‘About Irleen ... I don’t know why she’d agree to do that. Not my place to judge.’ He took another gulp of whiskey.
"Cmon cut The Crap. Everyone has a opinion. Im a Women and im utterly emberassed to even sit here while a Room of Perverted Idiots watch me...."
Verne chuckled, ‘Well, they are keeping us out of the underground fighting pits or a Rancor pit, no idea what Claw had in store for us if they hadn’t agreed to doing that.’
"I would have shot that Guy without hesitation. Am I the only one here with a pair of Balls? You behaved like a Dog around him. Where is Your Pride?"
‘Shot him? If you want to be gunned down by twenty thugs the next moment,’ Verne sighed, ‘Misplaced pride gets you killed or put in chains on Nar Shadaa.’
She sighs "I just Hope its worth it. Prostitution is a Crime on Mandalore You know? You get killed for it. Its disgusting that Its still a thing everywhere...." She takes another Sip of her Beer. "You have someone close to You?"
‘There’s lots legal of stuff on this planet, that’s a crime on others,’ Verne said. ‘Someone close? No, I wouldn’t call anyone I know “close”, just aquaintances really,’ Verne said and took another gulp of whiskey.
Verne chuckled, ‘Like a girlfriend? No, it’s complicated. As a former Jedi, I have to watch out not to turn to the dark side, part of that is not letting people get too close.’
‘Maybe not, but raw emotions lead to the dark side. And relationships—especially romantic ones—always involve strong emotions,’ Verne said.
‘Maybe I am,’ Verne said, ‘Did you abandon all your Mandalorian teachings and traditions when you left?’
She takes a big sip. "No I didnt....but I had to leave. But giving up what I learned and Who I am? No i couldnt do that. I would betray myself."
"Well its a difference if You abandon everything You know or Try to have someone You can trust and Like"
‘Hmnpgh, maybe I’m just afraid of commitment. I don’t really know, I’m not a psychiatrist,’ Verne chuckled.
