Loreley read Tarrik's message and replied, 'You bet, now get serious.' She activated the comms, 'Delta Squadron, this is Delta Leader: Silver One. All units, report in.'
Silver Two through Seven all report in. "Good to be working with you, ma'am, a voice says." Another mumbles "Good luck".
[Loreley split the understaffed squadron in Silver and Gold flights, so Silver 1-4 and Gold 1-4.] 'Gold Four, report in,' Loreley repeated when six pilots had reported in.
'Cut the formalities and wait for my command,' Loreley said then switched her broadcasting frequency, 'Wing Commander, this is Delta Leader. Squadron ready to launch on your command, over.'
DT-L30 runs toward their back up, still at full sprint. Doing his best to avoid being shot by running in an erratic pattern. When the X-Wing arrived, DT-L30 thought it was a good time to test his abilities in the Force. Channeling his lust from earlier, he tries to shut off the fighter's engines.
Fendrat show thumb up to Loreley too, and wash his face of sweat. He look at Cara and bothans. "Good work everyone. " He just said and look around for officer of highter rank, who could give them next orders.
"The colon is the most common area of hemorrhage and perforation. As with blast lung, intestinal perforation can occur acutely or may have a delayed presentation of up to 48 hours. Solid internal abdominal organs can also be contused or lacerated; however, solid organ damage occurs much less than does hollow organ damage. Except-" In Dannan's mind, it ran through all the various circumstances of explosive injuries when dealing abdominal pain, using a calm and clinical approach to think about the situation. First injecting the Twi'lek with something to kill the pain. While a bit of the damage was superficial, there was a problem with the fact the fabric was burnt into her body. Dannan didn't try to remove the singed parts of clothing. They were going to be stuck in the skin. Applying cold water to a burn like this would cause a shock...instead, she took the method of raising the burn to above the heart, decreasing bloodflow and to let the swelling decrease around the wounds and where the metal pieces were located, beginning the process of extracting them, putting her new enhancements to use to remove them. With the Twi'lek still conscious, Dannan decided it would be best to make conversation and keep her distracted from focusing on everything she was doing. "This doesn't look too bad..." Something of a lie, but her motherly tones started to surface, like talking to a child. "Impressive that you took a hit like this so well. You're a pretty tough girl. My friends call me, Dana. What do they call you?"
"Its all solved for now. In a Couple of Ours we have a new Job....and im tired and exhausted as Hell" he sighs, staring up at The ceiling.
The wing commander broadcasts to all the ships under his command. "Okay, people. The rumours you've been hearing are true. We're looking to catch Mon Mothma. We don't know which hyperspace lane she's coming from, so the fleet is spreading out. Intelligence states that she left with a number of Nebulon B frigates. Those don't stand a chance against our capital ships, but they carry fighters. You can bet that they'll be packing the best fighters the Alliance has at their disposal." He pauses. "We might not see any action. Mothma could take a completely different lane, but we need to stay alert. Understood?"
The fighter is rocked, but manages to stay on course, firing its guns. Several of the death troopers are killed, Meera is pushed by the shockwave backwards, tumbling off the railing. Song catches her, but is straining, as the commandos open fire again. The ship that brought them here takes off and begins engaging the X-Wings, distracting them.
T The officer collects the engineers and brings them to a side area of the hangar. "Good job. In the case of combat, you'll be here, ready to do repairs on fighters, or on the ship itself. Any questions?"
Fendrat shake his head. "No question sir." He said, knowing the time will show to them, where they will be needed.
"I obviously don't trust him. If I find a better alternative for The Clan to live I will inform them about it...." He keeps staring at The ceiling with tired eyes
"Well, Mari. Looks like you had a rough time of it." Dannan was talking a lot softer than she typically did. She was careful to avoid any questions that could accidentally end up stressing out the woman as Dannan kept her hands focused on the task at hand. Her upgrades were definitely helping with keeping things steady and it allowed the doctor to focus more on her patients face, and hold a proper conversation, ensuring that Twi'lek wouldn't be focusing on how painful this should be. It was a standard trick. The brain could only focus on so many things at once and trying to answer questions, diverted brain power that would otherwise spent being in a panic. She had to get her to think of other things that would take some time for her to think about. Dannan fixed her gaze on a few people in the cave. It wasn't good practice to ignore other people in the room besides the patient. Most of the time, she did anyway...she wasn't quite sure at what point any of that started to change. But it had. And they made a good diversion for her brain too. "Your squad here is really working hard to keep you to safe. I bet you have a lot of memories together." Trying to direct her into thinking more on those thoughts, the Twil'ek would barely notice as the last bit of shrapnel got pulled.
DT-L30 finds an area with cover, where he drops Zenobia, and their hostage. He then turns around, firing his blaster rifle toward the commandos, providing cover fire of Song and Meera. Once more, he tries to use the Force to shut off its engines, this time channeling his rage for his fallen brethren.
Gailte nods. "As you command, Admiral Motti." She says. Better not to start anything with the man now.
