Fendrat turn around to Cara. "Okey, we need to heavy equipment, some droid will help too and..." He stoped when he hear worry voice of Teal. Something happen to Loreley?! "Wait, what? What is with her?!" He Rush to pilot cabin, to see what happen with his friend.
Loreley was lying on the floor of the turret cupola, the side of her head bleeding. She was still breathing but unconcious.
Teal and Tarrik help carry her down the ladder, taking her to the lower level. "Clear some space!" Teal shouts, frantic. He lays Loreley down on a table after sweeping everything else off of it. He begins staunching the bleeding. Tarrik looks at Fendrat. "Go keep on the lookout for fighters. We'll help Lore".
Fendrat can't take away eyes from wounded Loreley, but he know Tarrik is right. "Okey, take care of her." He said and return to Cara. "We have to bring back ship to function as fast as we can. Let's go." He take space suit, to preper for going outside.
Teal managed to stop the bleeding on her head after a bit of effort. Her vitals were stabilising, but it would probably take a while until she recovered from the concussion and woke up again.
Dannan raised an eyebrow, at hearing it. Did he really do it? If he actually somehow managed doing it, or were they just alerted to his existence and trying to kill him? There wasn’t enough time to debate or think on it. She didn’t really bother talking with Sara on it, but she exchanged a look that told her she was just as surprised as she was. Their focus wasn’t to pick off every encounter, just get to their goal the fastest. Dannan refrained from blasting them, only waiting in cover until they properly cleared out before pressing back on again.
Vahlia brings out a small hand knife ready to slash. She allows the zombie to come forward. With it coming she swings the knife through its neck. She moves a few steps past grabbing the hair of the zombie and throwing the head back breaking the invertebrate snapping the head off. The body runs into the fire burning. Vahlia raises the head into the air.
Cara puts on her space suit, heading for the airlock, instead of the ramp. "Ready?" She asks. When he nods, she opens the airlock and they head outside.
After at least half an hour of searching, they see a group of six stormtroopers looking inside of a cave. One is shot in the head, as Cyrus bursts forth sending another off the cliff, tumbling down to the valley below. Only one of his arms are functioning, however, and he's outnumbered. Sara raises her blaster and guns one down.
Silri becomes visible, snapping her fingers as the flames disappear. "She has proven herself! Our new sister has arrived!" The undead nod at Vahlia, before crawling back up the walls. Silri kisses Vahlia hard. "With you, we shall begin to build up our people once more. We will gain new sisters, and remake Dathomir." She chuckles. "You are overconfident, my girl. You don't yet know the limits of your own power, but now we will train you." She heads to the centre of the chamber, taking a chalice and dipping it in a trough of black fluid. "Drink, and become one of us". Meetra looks terrified. "Mistress... Don't!" Silri forces the girl's mouth shut. "It is true, this can kill lesser people, but you are not lesser. Drink".
Dannan readied her blasters to fire at the troopers. There wasn't time for comprehensive thinking. Running to the opposite direction of Sara, she made sure that as the troopers now had to focus fire on people coming from behind, they were also pressed with Dannan and Sara not being clustered together, getting gunned on all three sides. Even with the numerical disadvantage, they were in a bad place to be and Dannan wasn't going to waste time not trying to thin the numbers. She had her upgrades that made readying guns while on the move simple and she was packing more than standard issue weaponry that would make a joke of trooper armor. She readied both guns at once, which was normally impractical, but easy enough with all her investments coming together to pay off, as she pulled the trigger putting two in the body of the closest trooper on Cyrus's side.
"Ready." He said going out with her in space. Gravity was weaker here, so they have to move carefull, keeping faith in their magnetic shoes. Fendrat look around the ship. "Let's go to the front, It must suffer the most in the attack." He said to Cara.
Sara and Danann wipe the stormtroopers out. Danann recognises the telltale signs of dehydration, and his shoulder wound had gotten bad. He collapses to his knees, strength sapped. "Danann? Damn, it's good to see you". Sara pouts. "You, too, kitty". She rolls her eyes, before he has a coughing fit.
The front is heavily dented, with scorch marks burnt through the hull. Bits of the starfighters have penetrated the outer layer of the ship.
Fendrat heavy breath seeing all this shit. Without hangar and mechanic tools, there is any chance for repair this right. "Well, we can fix it a little but for full service there is no way. Teal!" He call him "There is any chance for some spare parts what we could use? It will be a lot of work here."
After a few minutes, some spare parts float out of the airlock. "Just focus on the stuff that makes it harder to fly. And keep a lookout, there could be more fighters".
Fendrat nod. "Okey, that we can do it." He said and get back to work, with what he have. He tried to do his best job.
Dannan had found him alive and she smiled...then immediately her look began to turn sharper as she stared at him. "Did anybody ever consider that the doctor saying it's a bad idea to have injured people out and about, might be a bad idea?" I'm not mad. I'm disappointed. Her features softened somewhat as she began to support him. "One of these days, there will be something I can't fix. You can't let your crew lose you from just being stubborn." Why is pride so dam strong? Why is it even when it's a bad idea, people are still driven to dive blindly into the worst outcomes out of sheer refusal to admit mistakes? Why was it that same trait that hurt people the most was the very thing others found themselves rallying behind? Dannan could cite every detail about the human body structure. How it functioned. How it breathed. What truly drove it to think and feel....but why people did what they did, or how it made any sense, wasn't something beyond her comprehension. "You should be thanking Sara a little more. She made this possible...." She helped drag him to a mostly covered area. There was no enemies present yet, and this couldn't really wait as she got out her gear to begin work, thinking of how to streamline the conversation. "The second in command is more than a bit cranky about this whole thing, I'm sure. That will have to be dealt with and there's a situation with Art whose been surprisingly useful." Getting to work to treat the wound first, she could tell that he needed proper nourishment, but a rapid change in body temperature at this stage had it's own risks. Treating the wound and getting it taken care of was the first priority, looking over to Sara. "Signal for extraction. The longer we have to hold out here, the more time we miss out on. We got a lot of work to do, after we get all this taken care of."
