Loreley put her arm around Tarrik's shoulder, laughing, 'Maybe Teal will get that heart attack after all.'
Zann's hand begins touching Danann's uncovered breasts, as Cyrus draws his blaster and presses a button on his commlink. Mari, seeing the move, shouts "Tyber!" Reacting with blinding speed, Zann grabs Danann by the hips and bodily throws her through the air, the doctor impacting roughly with Cyrus as they both tumble to the floor. The bounty hunter runs inside the small apartment, and is immediately hit in the chest by a blast from Tyber's shotgun, taking him off his feet and leaving a massive dent in his armour. Mari, still on her hands and knees, is too fuck drunk and high to react effectively. She's seemingly confused as to which side she's on, having given the warning on impulse.
"Has he seen your little modification yet?" Her hand crawls under Loreley's shirt, pinching a nipple.
Loreley whimpered, enjoying Tarrik's touch, her sensitive nipples hardened quickly under her fingers, 'Hnngh~. Yeah, he has. He liked them quite a bit.'
"Mari!" Dannan gave a loud yell, almost like scolding a dog for misbehaving. She had somewhat expected this, but this was at the absolute worst possible time. Tyber had threw her around like she was a rag doll. He was able to move impossibly fast...perhaps, with the bang on the back of her head against Cyrus's armor, it wasn't the best time to think. But it jarred something loose and a question began to flow into her head despite the pain of her body trying to bring itself up. Why did he even need people to do the fighting for him? He couldn't be in all places at once...but no. There was more to it. This was just insane. It's hard to imagine anyone could seriously be that much of a problem for him. There was a specific reason he avoided going out into direct confrontations when it could be avoided and was generally paranoid. He had the mentality of a young person and clearly didn't stray away from getting his hands dirty...it might not be purely, pragmatic reasons he tries not to get involved. ...the thing that made the most sense was some kind of complication with his modifications. As he started to approach, she had to look him over again trying to get a proper analysis on him after seeing him in proper action. There might have been something to exploit here.... While trying to figure that out, she reached for explosive holo communicator and feigned fiddling with it. A desperation move to convince him that there was more reinforcements she was trying to contact. Of course, she picked the first name she could think of that seemed to have some relevance to the higher ups on the consortiums and seeming to be the one she threw under the bus for everything. "Art! Plan B. Greenlight delta team!" As long as he assumed there was still more assassins out for him, he'd be less likely to straight up kill them yet if he decided to press for information.
The ruse works. Zann, expecting more men to come through the door at any moment, backs away and takes cover in a doorway, firing several shots. Cyrus and the bounty hunter get to their feet and take cover also, returning fire. Danann hears Zann's voice, when the shooting pauses. "Tell me, doctor, did Cyrus decide to betray me, and rope you into this idiotic scheme, or was it you who talked him into doing this? I'm guessing that it was the latter. You wanted to be at the side of the Consortium's leader? Fine, done. Take those blasters of yours, and put a hole in Cyrus's treacherous head. I'll give you a place high in the organisation, well paid, with a chance to use your intelligence for something more tangible than patching up thugs. You can be my woman, too, if you want. Clearly, you're a stronger woman than Mari ever was."
“I...want it large and dominant. I want him to fill me up! Delicious flavor too.” She brushes her hand over his arms looking at him with great pleasure. “Care to join Silri?”
As the night sister waves her hand, the creature's dick grows and grows, eventually long enough to drape down its thigh, and thick as a soda can. She snaps her finger, and it grows hard almost immediately. It gives Silri and Vahlia a predatory expression. "Little whores". He growls, before grabbing Silri's shoulders and pushing her down. It slaps her face with its length, before forcefully facefucking the night sister. It grabs Vahlia, a hand reaching inside her pussy, making come hither motions to stroke her g-spot, looking into her eyes. "Want dominant, woman? I give you".
"Going to drop the slut just like that? I'll keep her, if you don't want her." Mari was still too fucked up to be of any use to anyone, but her brain clearly could register what was going on. Seeing Zann willing to kick her to the curb just like that...it might be the thing to get her to change whatever was left of a mind in there to a different side. Dannan was fairly good with blasters, but held off against firing at him instantly. His reflexes were excellent and a missed attack could mean missing out any chance to properly kill him. She had to lift up her guns, seeming ready to aim at him for a minute, before turning them to Cyrus. Deliberately, she made her hands shake and aim look unsteady. Cyrus was aware that she wouldn't have this problem, but there was no way Zann could know about her own modifications. "I didn't want to spend my whole life cleaning out bed pans or watching idiot thugs who were too dumb to live get themselves killed." She couldn't take too long to hesitate before the advantage of the situation was going to wear off. She had to exchange a look at Cryus hoping to get it across of what she really intended. She took a sharp look at the hunter. "Stand down! If you want your pay, you will back off." This had to be done carefully. There was one thing that she did have going to her advantage. She may have been bad at predicting what Zann will do, if he thought for one minute that she'd actually kill Cyrus, he obviously couldn't predict her. Leaving him to assume she was distraught with grief, her hands shook and she flinched away while she fired a little, but purposely aiming lower closer to his heart.Combining her aiming skills and anatomy skills she deliberately shot at the safest tissue on his chest that would still make it look like a lethal shot. "I'm sorry." With Cyrus still behind cover, Zann would at least need to properly approach to see what had just happened as he heard the shot go off and Dannan give a weak "I'm sorry." to the person she supposedly just killed.
Cyrus cries out in pain, before managing to muster the willpower to slump over, playing dead. The bounty hunter grunts. "I better still get my pay for this." Slowly, Zann peeks out of cover, weapon raised, and begins walking towards Cyrus. "Back up and face the wall, drop the weapons." He growls. He moves to Cyrus, checking the body. He kicks him, in the ribs, the face, and the balls. Satisfied that his protege is dead, Zann moves over to where Danann stands. "Welcome to the Consortium."
Teal walks into the room where she's changing, not bothering to knock. "The Grand Moff has requested your presence first, ma'am."
The hunter backing up as Zann ordered, Dannan did the same letting her blaster fall to the floor as the bounty hunter dropped his weapon. He wasn't stupid. But now he was starting to relax thinking that the threat against his life had neutralized. Dannan's brain divided into two plans while Zann was busy checking Cyrus. It wasn't as if he needed to pretend that much to be dead. It was treatable, but far from a light scratch. The first thing the doctor did while dropping her blaster was take a look at Mari. Even in her drug addled mind, she probably could land a surprised shot if she kicked the weapon over. Zann had just pretty easily thrown her away...it was doubtful she was going to be in any mood to think things through if given the opportunity. The other thing was the plan B bomb she had for this occasion in the communicator. "I think the first thing to do is tell them off." Carefully she reached for the bomb and began to fiddle with buttons and issue commands to people who didn't exist, starting to pace away from him not letting him the exact non existent conversation. After finishing up a few seconds of that call, she took the device and stretched it for Tyber to take it. "Should probably hang onto it though. It has all the logs of everyone who thought this was a good idea. Probably should start on going over that first...and sending a clean up crew...or just getting that one to do that." She jerked her head over to the hunter, who was still left mostly clueless to the situation. She only looked for half a second, and then away with disdain. Getting Cyrus out of the blast radius if she needed to resort to that, and getting Mari to switch over her loyalty were the two main goals she had in mind. Even if Mari chose not to take the shot, she had no way of knowing about the bomb and they'd assume that reinforcements were cut off...they'd be the only two caught in the blast...and if Mari was really going to stick to Zann...it just couldn't be helped. Dannan really, really, didn't want to do it, but she recognized it as necessary too if her plan E didn't work. She had went from plans A to B, then to C, and was starting to exhaust her whole catalog.
Zann throws the bomb commlink on the table. "I'll deal with that later. First, we need to discuss your entry into the organisation." He turns to the hunter. "Leave. I have no interest in being outnumbered. Go to the bar, and await my call. You'll recieve your payment, and be contracted for the clean up." Giving one last look at Danann, the man in the helmet leaves the room. Zann sits on one of the seats, refilling his glass with whiskey, and pours one for Danann, offering it to her. Glancing at Mari, he says "why don't you go take a shower, baby?" The Twi'lek nods, still dazed, getting up and heading to the bathroom. Zann gestures for Danann to sit opposite him on a chair. She sees Cyrus, out of the corner of her eye, make an almost imperceptible move towards his blaster. Zann eyes the doctor. "Given your medical background, I think it would be fitting to put you in charge of a pharmaceutical corporation I've recently aquired. It is, of course, a front for narcotics distribution. Since you felt fine giving drugs to my companion, I assume that you don't object to the trade?"
Fendrat show to him most micro communicator what he could made. "Well, here it is... But I don't have any jewelry, so there is no possible for me to hide it." He explained.
You had a choice....and you chose wrong. Reluctantly, Dannan was forced yo acknowledge that Mari seemed to be just too unreliable and not to mention a coward. Even if drugged, she made it clear where her loyalties lie...Dannan thought about the situation, but not for too long. Anytime to act on it was assuming that Zann can still be killed. She could see Cyrus readying himself. She had to have faith. He was stronger, but alone and assuming he had the upper hand. She just had to keep him talking. Somehow this had evolved into essentially an employee interview. Admittedly, the prospect didn’t even sound that bad. “That doesn’t sound too bad. Of course, I know my way around drugs just fine. I just happen to get mixed up in it, wherever I go. Though I assume that I’ll be kept as the surgeon on hand, in times of emergency? I suppose the most important question, is of course, expected share of profits.”
@asddas193 Teal enters. "Jewellery? You getting that Cara girl a gift?" He pauses. "Sorry to intrude, just wanted to tell you guys that Tarkin wants to speak to the Commodore alone. They were really vague, but they said something about you two having a mission coming up in a few days? Anyway, they'll talk to you then. We're headed to Coruscant right after we drop off the Commodore, so you'll have plenty of time to get some jewellery." He gives Fendrat an affable smile. Teal turns to leave, when he straightens, remembering something. "Oh, and DT? They said that Grand Admiral Zenobia wanted you to meet him at your convenience, to hand over the package Xarrina gave you. He'll be at his office in the Admiralty all day, so you can drop in whenever".
Zann nods. "A fair question. I'll expect 25% of your profits each month. The rest of what you make is yours, to reinvest how you wish. All you need to do is provide an expected quota of profit each month. For the first two months, you won't have to pay me tribute, but after that, it's non-negotiable. You'll be expected to deal with problems such as competition and law enforcement yourself, but you'll have the resources of the Consortium behind you to help you deal with them." Mari comes out of the bathroom, still naked, but carrying a blaster pistol. Zann spots her immediately, and his hand goes to his weapon. "What are you doing, Mari?" The Twi'lek scoffs. "You abandon my people, help sell them into slavery, and then ditch me for another woman? What do you think I'm doing, Tyber?" She raises her blaster, as Tyber raises his. Before either can fire, however, Cyrus shoots Zann in the shoulder. Roaring in pain, the crime lord turns, but is shot in the stomach by Mari. Zann dodges the next few shots with his modded reflexes, drawing a pistol from his waist, aiming the shotgun at Cyrus, and the pistol at Mari. He's right in front of Danann, and about to fire upon both the man and the woman.
'Aaghn~, you seem to like them too,' Loreley moaned, biting her lip. She reached out to Tarrik's head, drawing her in to kiss her best friend passionately.
