He looks at her. "Your friends managed to escape the planet you were marooned on. I believe that they're coming here to rescue you. I would be willing to allow them to succeed. In return, you will serve me as part of the military, and in your own time. You will feed me information, and you will complete certain tasks."
You’re disgusting. Dannan’s personal thoughts surfaced quickly. She had experimented with drugs, but the idea of this hypnosis substance to fuck with people’s minds like this...not to mention they already had something like this, they worked on, just not in a gas form. She wondered what the feeling of both super drugs could do...would the body even handle that kind of overwhelming euphoria? Curious for a second, but only a second. The idea of mass producing it...something felt just plain wrong. “How do I put this simply...” She was torn between realizing how useful and valuable it would be and a sudden sense of standards welling up. “I understand the value of this-if this does half of what you say it does...that being said, I’m unconvinced that I should get involved with this.” Recreational drugs didn’t hurt anyone other than people who wanted to use the . Even building chemical weapons had the excuse for peace...this what? Mega date rape gas? How could any doctor-no matter how fucked there morals were actually get behind that other than just doing something because they could? “Personal distaste established...it would certainly be valuable. I’m going to ask you for help. Sell me on why you, personally, can stomach your own little creation.”
"Sure, on my way." He said and make examination of Deet limbs, with his tools he make efforts to repair it as best as he could.
"I'm telling you how it could be used, not how you must use it. Like I said, it could be used for animal breeding. Breeders would pay good money for this, to make their best animals mate, to create animals that are good at racing, for example. In the same vein, there are numerous species that are endangered due to low libido. This could encourage them to mate, and save them from extinction. More ecologically minded planets would pay for that. Of course, the potential profits for human use dwarfs that for animal use, but you could still make money, if you're only interested in ethical implementation of the product."
He's able to restore mobility to the arm, though it's a little slower than before. @asddas193 DT hears blaster fire again, closer now.
"Okey, It should be work, but be carefull with that. I didn't bring spare parts." He warm his friend.
“Yes. I understand medicine can be applied in other ways.” Dannan made a flat comment, knowing she was coming off more rude than she really needed to be, but everything about her had rubbed her the wrong way. “What I asked, was what YOU believe it should be used for and I’m sure that I already know the answer, so there’s little point in trying to lie. There’s plenty of virility drugs available, and if we ever get the urge, I’ll develop them without your little side effect. It only has one purpose...at the very least you seem certain it works as intended....but I’m questioning if this is truly superior to anything we have and without seeing it’s use, I only have your word if it’s effective or not. I’m going to guess, I won’t find any clinical test data about this, will I? Not to mention, my doubts about your actual authority to hand this off from something built in an imperial army weapons lab...so how are you going to make me change my mind and think all my fears are misplaced? You could try using this gas on me if you’re so sure, it will work...but then...I shouldn’t need to tell you how that makes more problems than it solves. So what can you do?”
Loreley frowned at Xizor, 'I'm glad your thugs didn't get to them, Sir, but...' She paused a moment, 'Wouldn't serving you as your agent in the Navy be a bigger betrayal of my duty than to be MIA as your slave? What will happen to my friends if I don't agree to this?'
"Lets get this Over with and leave this Planet as soon as Possible" Paz says nervously as He navigates to The Valley and Lands on The Edge of it.
She stays polite, but her brow furrows. "I've brought evidence, of course. Data supporting my claims, and footage of the pheromones in action. I've managed to modify several grenades into dispersal devices, which a soldier is using on a mission, right now, actually. When he returns, he'll give his testimony as to how effective it was." She looks out the window. "You asked me what I think it should be used for. The honest answer is that I really, truly don't care. Personally, I think that helping endangered species is a good cause, but if you pay for it, you can do whatever you want with it. This may have been made in an Imperial lab, but it's my project, not a Science Corps project. As long as I give my superiors a cut, they won't be a problem. Half of the Science Corps makes money on the side with corporations. As long as we design weapons that are of use to the Imperial Military, they don't really care." She turns to face Danann. "This really is up to you. There are others that would pay well for what I'm offering. I simply thought that a young company like yours would be interested in having a product above and beyond what your competitors are selling. But, if you have ethical issues, feel free to say no."
They both did their best to keep cordial and professional towards the other, but their impatience with each other wasn't all that well hidden. Giving out a bit of a defeated sigh, Dannan was forced to acknowledge a few points. However, she flashed a bit of a defensive look for a minute. "Perhaps we don't have the resources of the Imperial army, but you may be underestimating what exactly we are capable of building." She didn't bother to elaborate. Making it a contest wouldn't get anywhere. "Regardless, I suppose if nothing else, controlling the product means we can determine how it's used and what to do with it. Let me look over the test data, and I think you may have gotten yourself a deal despite my reservations."
"You have to consider that I already own much of the Imperial military. Some of your Commanding Officers are likely on my payroll, or on the payroll of someone working for me. You wouldn't be doing too much damage. I simply think that it's more effective to have people both high and low in the service." He strokes her cheek. "If you say yes, I'll have my men put up a token resistance when your friends try to rescue you. If you say no, they'll have to fight their way here, risking death, especially since I know that they're coming." An explosion sounds somewhere else in the station, not too far away. "Damn it! That stupid Twi'lek, they followed him!" Xizor, believing Loreley harmless, heads to his console and begins barking out orders.
Briar nods. "This place is creepy as hell." Stepping out of the ship, they see the landscape of Korriban, the weathered statues of ancient sith lords towering above them. View attachment 1956 Danann notes that her scientists will have to look at the data, but everything appears to correlate with what the science officer is saying. She shows security footage with biometric scans, showing numerous captured rebels becoming highly aroused by the pheromones.
'Was that the plan all along, SIr?' Loreley wanted to know, 'To capture an Imperial pilot and turn them to your side? Did you offer the same to the Rebel pilot?' She melted into his palm, as Xizor touched her cheek, 'I don't want them to be hurt... so it may be my only option to say yes, Sir.' She smiled at the Falleen crime lord, 'I don't want you to be hurt either, should they manage to get through your defences, Sir.' She yelped at the explosion, having become a bit more feminine in Xizor's presence, 'Ah!' She rushed to Xizor's side and gave him a pleading look, 'Is that them? Please, don't hurt them!
It was curious and fascinating to observe, but she could still feel how sore her body was from yesterday and really only having just woken up, she wasn’t in the mood for much than watching as thing happened as they normally would, making a few notes....and then getting curious again. This was basically a prototype rather than a finalized product...what if it was possible to synthesis it further? She wondered if it was truly wise to try improving on with the use of consortium drugs, but she hadn’t decided on doing it..just curious if she could. Finishing taking a look, she nodded to the woman. “Alright. We’ll buy it.”
He nods. "Stand down, give token resistance." Through the radio, Loreley hears another explosion go off. "Those fuckers." Xizor's expression darkens. "They destroyed it? Kill them all." Loreley hears Xizor order her friend's deaths.
'What!? No, please, I beg you,' Loreley pleaded with the crime lord, tears at the corner's of her eyes, 'I'll do anything, just don't kill them!'
“Two million. Done.” It was a steep price, but a flat rate was better than constant payments overtime. “Anything else?”
