DT sees that most of them were taken out in the explosion. It's difficult, his Force senses still a little foreign to him, but he's able to deflect clumsy shots fired by reanimated hands, without much difficulty. Soon enough, the cyborg stands amidst a puddle of black and red blood, with severed heads and limbs lying around him, exhausted by the exertion of combat.
"Do we even know how many people were in this station?" DT-L30 asked as he tried to catch his breath. "Damn it, hopefully whatever happened to them isn't airborne." He looks around to see if they could find a room they could easily defend, so they could rest.
"Of course I came for you, Lore. I love you." He holds out his hand. "Now come on, let's get out of here. I'll let this shit go when we're on our ship." Xizor shrugs. "That won't be necessary, but keep him as a hostage, if you like." He looks at Loreley and smiles. "Thank you, my dear. I had a wonderful time with you." Loreley sees Teal's fist clench around the Twi'lek's throat, and his eyes fill with wild hate.
Danann sees that the manufacture of legal drugs is on schedule, but the illegal narcotic production has stopped, as there are currently no buyers.
"Be my guest. Wait. Get down!" Briar pulls him down beneath a rock. After a few moments, they peek up, seeing a group of armed men exit one of the tombs, though instead of leaving they wait at the entrance, chatting and smoking.
"Tombraiders or Smugglers maybe? They seem to be here since a while. What do You think? Should we have a Chat?"
Hmm. She had to think. Apparently they hadn't even noticed the cut in profits. It made her wonder if selling the kind of drugs they did was even necessary at this point. With enough growth to create a proper monopoly on medical companies....there was so much more than they could have without any of the risk or half of the damage. But this was still the consortium. Rise to power or not, there was only so many things she could go and change. Knowing she didn't have any of the contacts to be arranging dealings, she got her communicator to message Cyrus, hoping he's woken up by now or Mari wasn't somehow distracting him from answers so she could explain the situation.
Loreley took Teal's hand, 'I love you too.' She looked back to Xizor, blushing, 'Th-Thank you, Sir, it was... interesting. Farewell.' She turned to Teal, 'Let's get out of here, please.'
"One of us should go, and the other should keep hiding, in case these guys are hostile." Briar answers, looking at the four men in nondescript armour, wielding blaster rifles.
Cyrus answers quickly. "Hey, my love." He listens to what she has to say about the pheromones. "Those would be worth a lot of money, but they are unethical. I'll trust your judgement on this. It's your company, after all."
Teal gives a last look of fury at Xizor, to the point where Loreley worries that he'll shoot the prince before he leads Loreley through the station. Lorley sees a massive amount of destruction as they walk through a ruined casino, to one of the hangars. She hears a shrill voice call out "Lore!" Tarrik runs up, hugging her friend tight, a blaster rifle strapped to her back. Nazaka, Dee and the Imperial survivors wait, weapons ready.
"Yeah. I know you do. But...I think we're kind of forgetting that we weren't the most upstanding business to begin with. Our people are kept happy by having a cash flow. We are making more now with legal money that doesn't even need to get laundered...but it's probably going to take too long before we see enough of a flow to keep them patient forever with the transition. I was thinking that while the pheremones themselves are valuable....a nulling agent to prevent them could be just as valuable and marketed as a defense against these kind of weapons. I have an inkling that the imperials would only give something like this up if they weren't already producing them. So we present it as a solution to these kind of things and slaver tactics, and can make pretty much just as much profit without needing to getting into half of the legal issues."
"Im The Guy with The Armour and experience. Wish me luck...." He comes out of his Cover and approaches them. "I want no trouble. I'm looking for The Tomb of Ragnos....something"
Loreley hugged Tarrik tightly, 'I'm so glad to see you, thank you...' She got very self-concious about her attire, as she saw everyone waiting for her. He tried to hide her crotch behind the flimsly cloth. Blushing, she averted her gaze in embarrassment, 'I can't even begin to thank you all... let's leave before they change their minds about letting me go.' She quickly rushed to the ship with Teal and Tarrik.
"Yes, but it could bring us into conflict with those who would be selling the aphrodisiac in the first place. My whole sales pitch was that I'd bring peace and prosperity."
"Come on, let's rest over there. Also... grab those trooper's blasters, and grenades if they still have any." DT-L30 sighed as he walks toward the room, using the Force to see if anyone was inside before opening the door.
"...fair enough. I say we'll still work on the "vaccine." It's better to have it in the back corner in case we never need it. We could probably even sell it back to some members of the species who produce it. A lot of them use it...but not all. I'm sure a lot of them would pay a lot to at least be given the option." Going through her suggestions, she thought about the other things they had in shop. "Other than that...what about other stuff? We can't find anyone to buy lighter things? Literally nobody?"
They all point weapons at him. "Ragnos's tomb is over there. I wouldn't recommend going there, though. Some weird guys went in before. We're hardly civilians, but those guys didn't just look tough. They looked crazy."
@Regin34 The room, a large supply closet of some kind, is empty. The purge troopers sit down along a shelf with cleaning supplies, while Beam goes into standby mode in the corner.
