'Thanks for believing in me, Alexandra, but don't worry,' Jack smiled, 'Things could be a lot worse, Alexandra. How are you doing back in school? Kids and parents giving you a hard time?'

She fights back the urge to giggle at the unintended double entendre. "Yeah, you could say that. One parent in particular..." She sighs. "The students aren't too bad, but few of them are particularly interested in the classes."

'Oh, does he or she think you're giving their darling unfair grades?' Jack chuckled.

Their conversation went on for a bit, until Alexandra felt something near the entrance. Like a cold wind. Much like the kind the assassin siblings had when Alexandra first encountered them. Not quite the level of murderous intent...but somehow more unpleasant.. It didn't feel like it was focused on her...but it was also drastically different. This didn't have the same kind of impulse of no real grudges. It was darker than that...while also feeling scared. But also full of hate.

Jack's position of where he sat let him see a short black haired woman walk right past Laya who had been checking her phone. The leather jacket wearing woman turned like she was going to apologize, but didn't and continued right past the group heading to a table on the far end. The girl couldn't be much older than Jack. She had a more intense look about her than the other two did...but also..didn't seem actually that dangerous. If anything...his danger sense for once, was being dead silent. It was as if it was actually going into negatives of the seismic levels of danger it felt from this woman as menacing as she was trying to make herself look.

Jack looked at the girl coming into the bar. He was intrigued, having always had a thing for the goth-look, though never having spoken to one before.

Alexandra nudges Jack, whispering. "What do you think? I get the feeling that she's like us."

What do I think? I think she's hella cute, Jack chuckled, 'Probably. What do you think her powers are?'

Laya had stepped up to the duo to help deliberate, taking a seat beside them. "How do you guys just know? Like, is it a voice in your head? Just a feeling. I still don't get how if everyone seems to be using the same power, other people still use it completely differently." While the stress oozed from her at another puzzle, she eyed the girl who looked to be waiting for something, checking her phone, but there was no way to tell if it was just for regular messages or not. "God...it always puts me on edge to see somebody so much as text now."

"I know what you mean, I'm getting paranoid as well. I don't know for certain that she has powers, but I can read her emotions. Hatred, fear. They're exceedingly strong. I just get the feeling."

Jack shrugged, 'I don't know, I don't feel any danger from her, though.'

"Good to hear. Let's leave her alone for now, and see what she does." Alexandra decides to wait until they've either been approached, or the bartender returns.

    "Why would you?"

    That air of lethality....

He didn't need to look to know from the guy's voice who was walking up to them. Standing at the entrance, Adel had her arms crossed, standing halfway between the door not stepping inside while she finished her smoke. Alexandra felt...something unusual. An actual air of surprise that came from Abel looking at them, though he held a small smile as he walked right by them and went past the counter taking the sign off the counter. Their presence hadn't really faded. Jack didn't really have a measure of it before, but if that woman was psychic...the power gap between the twins and other psychics was vast. It gave him an inkling that the whole scene at the hospital was just them trying not to cause too damage...what they might really be capable of...

Alexandra didn't feel any of the same kind of emotions towards them. If anything, the pair just seemed somewhat confused by it. "Oh, don't worry about it. She's not here for you. She's just here to try revenge killing us. She does that." His feelings were more interested in the trio sitting by the bar. The girl who had an apparent grudge against them wasn't even on the radar. "So, what are we having? Need a minute to look at the menus?"

Alexandra squints. "I'll have a whisky." @unisol_gr44 "My underage friend here will have something non-alcoholic of his choice, and Laya can have what she pleases." She looks at the siblings. "What did you do to the girl to make her want to kill you? And while I'm at it, why haven't you just killed her? You are murderers, after all."

'Y-You're the bartender?' Jack looked in disbelieve, before blushing, as Alexandra spoke, 'I'll have a coke, thanks.' The young man looked over his shoulder to Adel.

He actually seems amused by her question, but not really commenting while placing a proper whiskey glass on the table and beginning to pour, frowning for a second at Jack. "Well, what? Did you think I just spend all my time thinking about you?" His eyes drifted towards Laya and Alexandra. "Some of you make it harder than others not to." While being a little open wasn't really any kind of indication of danger, Alexandra could feel some of the discomfort from the doctor who was both fighting off her inner perverted urges and swallowing her fear. "Just water. I got work tomorrow."

Getting the other glasses was easy. Namely, because they didn't even seem him do it. They were already on the table in front of them as soon as they looked down. No signs of damage or cracking in the glass. Jacks was already filled with ice and perfectly to the brim. Only a slight amount of foam around the rim. On the same side, Laya's water glass was already full, which caused her a skeptical look. "There has to be better uses for your kind of power. Yours is actually useful. Not like mine."

"You just use yours wrong. Honestly? If any of you had any real idea of what you could actually do with your power, I'd be more afraid of you than you are of me." Pushing the thought out of his mind, he shook his head and calmly began to wipe down the counter, he went back to looking at the girl who couldn't be any older than Jack. "But god...all the minors are flocking here. Well, she'll just go away after she tries something stupid ...but...nah. You're kind of confused about things. We don't kill people who don't need to die. She's not evil...just kind of....stupid."

Not treating this like much of a big deal, glancing over to his sister who was starting to approach, giving a bit of harder stare than his brother, apparently switching from him being the serious one from before to her being more severe.

"So, let me guess. Just realizing now, even if you try to ignore this stuff, it's just gonna fuck with you anyway, right?"

Alexandra squints. "You won't kill her because she doesn't need to die, whatever that means. Do we need to die, then?" She sips at her whiskey.

In response to the question, she shrugs. "Basically. We might as well come to you if you're going after us."

    "Don't think so."
    "Probably, yeah."

Abel had spoken first, but almost right on time with Adel forcing them to stare at each other. Sibling bickering might have been cuter if it wasn't describing lives on the line. They couldn't agree on what the actual situation was or what to do about it. A little hesitant, Abel gave a stare to Alexandra, frustration starting to surface. "We don't have the kind of say you think we do. The Consensus doesn't need people..it doesn't need to plan...it doesn't have to want to....it will get to you." While she couldn't read minds, the feeling was shared by both of them and comparable to what their own was about even coming here. A sensation of powerlessness that it was impossible to fight back against.

"But you can just choose not to carry things out." Laya started to make the point, which made both of their annoyance surge. He said nothing, returning to wiping down glasses that didn't really need to be cleaned, Adel alternating her gaze between the black haired girl and Jack, debating what to say. The comments forced her to look over, and Alexandra could make the faint signs of bags starting to form under her eyes. She felt exhausted.

"Dam...you're annoying. You keep talking like how bad it is for all for you...except none of you should even be here anyway." She took a look to Alexandra, then she paused to gawk at Jack again. Looking away she stared at the jacketed girl.

"You're not "new" victims. You're old ones. We already spared you guys, the first time already."

"The consensus is that powerful?" She takes a swig og her whiskey, enjoying the heat in her chest and trying to act casual.

"What? You don't think we tried to go against it ourselves before?" Abel's impatience was showing a bit more, and on his face too, but it quickly shifted into an almost resigned expression.

"...look...the thing is...we already went against it once. You were supposed to be killed...eight years ago. But...we didn't know what we we're doing back then. I got the job, but figured...just this once? There was no reason someone had to go....then weird shit starts to happen. Like a plane crashing right into our apartment...the only reason, we didn't die is because I got stopped on the street by some guy...after that, I kind of had to admit that we couldn't just manage by ourselves. The boss is the only one that's ever really beat the system." The explanation felt awkward. Mostly because of how Alexandra felt it. Like he was purposely leaving details out, but his face didn't really give a good indication of what the full story really was.

Adel took a step towards them, taking her eyes off the gothic woman for a second to reach right over the bar counter and snag a bottle of vodka from the shelf, grabbing a shot glass in the process. Opening the cap, she began to fill the glass and made a gesture towards her brother, but he shook his head causing her to just shrug and pour it for herself.

"Yes and no...if we want to go on the idea that it's like...a hive mind made out of all of us, it can't be gotten rid off without getting rid of every last one of us and it will always be stronger than anyone by themselves. I don't think it has an actual ass either, so you can't just go and kick it. .....but as long as you do what it says, things go good. It makes the best decisions for everyone...the only problem is it never tells you, if it means the best decision for you. I think, you still think this is like..."Good guys versus bad guys." but it isn't. Me-..the boss, only does things if he knows they'll be helpful to people...they just have different ideas on what's really helpful to people. The boss...he doesn't ever get mad. He already knows when you fuck up. He doesn't make anything simple...but I'd rather stick with him. The Consensus....it's helpful to people to...but when you go off of it's plan...it gets....cranky."
