"Either she's a veeery good actress, or she's really broken... for now at least." DT-L30 shrugged, as he begins loading their loot onto Beam. Taking the credits, he hands them to Fendrat for him to store in his pouch.
“Can you go...” Dannan let the question hang in the air for a second, everyone curious what she was thinking. “Well no...of course, not.” Motioning for the remaining consortium guards to stay ready, the doctor started to approach the apparent ace pilot. The expression in Dannan’s eyes made it apparent that she wasn’t really intrigued in such a way that implied what Xlizor has assumed. “You made a conscious choice to work with the “Prince”...however, I’m willing to go off the assumption that the pheromones affected your cognitive judgement abilities....so here’s what’s going to happen. You will stay long enough so I can detox your system and use as a subject for a project to work against it. However, you are perfectly welcome to contact whoever you wish...after I’m done with you, you can go on, unharmed. I’d never subject patients to knowingly dangerous experiments.” Outlining what she intended, her tones had almost gotten patronizing. While she didn’t say it out loud, the idea that the pilot was her inferior was made evident from the gaze she gave, mostly disinterested. “I suppose, the first thing you’ll think is to call people to shoot up the place and my employees, including the ones just working innocent jobs for their families...” She was being deliberate in painting the picture of what a disaster it would be. “I’d ask you to seriously consider what a drug habit or psychological hang up might mean. It will slow you down on the field and risk getting you or your squad mates killed.” How much she actually doubted the brunette’s abilities were evident, but Dannan reasoned most soldiers felt a sense of loyalty to their squads and calling it a risk to her own team might help get her to go along with things willingly. “And in case you’re wondering...no. I’m interested in toys who choose it, not ones who are coerced or made to obey. True...I enjoy watching people squirm, but only when they want to, not because they were told or brainwashed into it. I have no interest in something that’s incapable of choosing it on their own.” Dannan’s words were definitely a little harsh and judgemental, but it made it obvious that she wasn’t going to harm Xilzor’s former slave or just keep her for herself.
Loreley couldn't look the woman in the eye, ashamed of her weakness. She gulped, 'I-I did choose to work for Xizor. I had few alternatives, they would've meant the death of my friends and myself. Y-Your demands are reasonable, ma'am. I won't call anyone to destroy the place, I don't even know who you are or what your organisation is.'
Fendrat setting her viblator on activities for 15 secends in two minutes. Enough to build heat, but not to come. "Yeah, you are right, we don't know for sure what is her head." He take credits and Deet.
"Right, well, we basically got what we came for. And more." DT-L30 shrugs, "You think Beam can carry all this stuff?" He asked Fendrat, not really wanting to burden himself with loot. Especially since he only had one arm, and there were still enemies in the station.
Fendrat look at Beam, how droid was build up. "What do say Beam? How much are you able to carry on?" He asked droid.
Dannan had to expect she was aware or had an idea of some details, but apparently wasn’t shared the exact details, but Dannan didn’t feel a need to specify on them. “You’re standing in a pharamuctical company. Other than apparently a Black Sun pilot, I don’t have a patient name to work with.” Dannan’s face started to soften a little, now that she hears the girl willing to comply. It would save on a lot of trial and error to have a proper test subject for the vaccine. Taking a look back to the dead crime lord on the ground, she motioned at his body too. “Take the body for autopsy...record it, and send it to any of his major associates. Get the message out.” It was obvious a normal company wouldn’t need to make those kind of demands, but it was doubtful the ex-slave would completely buy it anyway. Dannan typed into a data pad for a few seconds, before taking a glance back at her new subject. “I have no intention of locking you up entirely like an animal...closely monitored supervision, but you have free range to go almost anywhere you like on company grounds, except for restricted areas. However, I will at least put you up in something better than a lab room the entire time. You’ll be put up somewhere nice.”
'I'd rather keep my idenity a secret, if that's alright,' Loreley said, 'Just call me Jane Doe or something like that. I'd like to completely get rid of his influence on me as well... for how long would I be here as your test subject for the vaccine?'
"Good enough, I can handle a few mindless idiots. Let's get back to the ship then." DT-L30 said as he attaches the double bladed saber on his now empty bomb belt. He sticks to using the inquisitor's lightsaber, with Xarrina's master's saber attached on his lower back. DT-L30 leads the way back toward their ship, hopefully they don't run into anyone.
”I’ll need to pry into your medical history, but won’t try to ask too many other questions if that works. Admittedly, it may be some time. A week to get it properly ready for testing, but I still need to run patient preliminaries before that. Ideally, it won’t take an excessively long tome...though I won’t rush quality control either. Any other questions for me?”
“I did tell you that I’d allow it. Of course, this does not mean it’s going to be entirely private. At the same time, you aren’t a prisoner here. You’re a patient that’s getting treated and they are even welcome to visit you outside of labwork time. I don’t plan to keep you here forever or make your life more difficult than it must be.”
'Okay, thank you,' Loreley nodded and then contacted Teal. She told him that she would stay in a clinic for a while to get rid of Xizor's influence on her. She turned back to the woman after speaking to Teal, 'Alright, I'm ready to start whenever your team is. I want to get this over with quickly.'
Of course, Dannan had to be curious who she was speaking to or what their relationship was, but she allowed her at least that much privacy, only really listening for something that might make things difficult, but it didn’t come. “I’ll have someone get the starting work done up, at least so we have everything ready for when it’s properly synthesized, and then you can be taken back to a suite for the night. Stay away from alcohol, but I don’t care what you do in there. There’s a lot of injured people that we meed to go over and they’re a more immediate risk. I’ll be working the night with the rest of the staff patching them up, but..” Dannan reached into her pocket, handing a silver case to her mystery patient. She could see it was an engraved lighter with D.S. on it. She wasn’t afraid of clues to her identity since she saw no way of keeping it covered forever especially in the consortium’s own tower. But the lighter was clearly Dannan’s personal property. Obviously a mark of trust. ”Let security and doctors know they must treat you well. Tell them I said so.” Taking a moment to stare at the destruction and mess around the place, she gave another order. “Get the clean up crew in here...then give them the weekend off. They’ll need it.”
'Don't drink, got it,' Loreley nodded and took the lighter, as some kind of calling card for the people around there, 'Uhm, thank you.' She followed whatever instructions the doctor gave her, within reason for the tast, as she did not know where to start.
Fendrat take as many treasures to his backpack and take Sith lady by her bound hands. "Okey, let's go my dear." He said pressing blasterpistol against her bare ass, leading her back to the ship with rest of team.
