“Yes, we did consider that – we discussed it earlier, in my room. In fact, that is why we wanted to try talking to the witch first and use violence as a last resort. But before we worry about that we should speak to the two priestesses and see what they will say.” Having said that Celine turned her attention to the desk and the dark elf behind it. As she did so she also moved a little closer to Alyndra. “Anyway, let's first hear what Zilfie can tell us before we make any further plans...”
"Good idea. Information is precious, after all." He gestures for the elf to ask Zilfie. "Oh, and be careful, you two. There's a bear in that forest, highly aggressive."
The dark elf smirked at the bounty hunters. "Sure sure, lovely birds." The woman leaned over the counter, showing off her clavage and started tapping her finger on the furniture. "For a price, of course."
“Thanks for the view, Zilfie, but you are not getting any extra coin for it,” Celine smirked as she took a quick look at Zilfar's cleavage, then looked at Alyndra and compared the view with her memory of the redhead's naked bust. “Anyway,” the elf began as her attention returned to the dark elf, “let's hear what you know about our potential targets...” She took out a coin and put it on the counter, in front of the dark elf.
Catherine hid so she could see the room with the ill man without a problem. After a few moments, Camile entered the room and quickly made her way to her father, not even bothering to check her surroundings. She sat on the bed next to her father, her back turned to Catherine and started checking on the man. "I still have time." She sighted with relief. She started unpacking the contents of the bag and putting it on the nightstand, a sweat and tiredness clearly visible to Catherine.
Having decided on his actions, Gith made his way to the town. With a goal in mind, to find some gambling dens, he made his way through the town - he had a choice, to go to a shadier part of town and search for some gambling den, or to go to the street vendors for some quick match.
Catherine simply stayed put, allowing her target to go work. Wondering for a second if she shouldn’t offer her skills, but suspecting that would spook the girl too much, deciding to only intervene if things took a turn for the worse.
Zilfar smirked back and licked her lips. "You can look, but not touch. And I can already see you wanting! Haha! Ehm." She caught into her hand. The dark elf grabbed a coin and tsked. "For that much, I can only tell you that the bounty on the priestess is not because of the faith, but internal politics. The one who put the bounty probably wants to discredit the priestess and take her position."
Alyndra frowned, 'Oh... she just wants the High Priestess out of the way so she can become High Priestess?' She sighed, 'Typical, and here I thought the High Priestess was doing some nefarious stuff.'
“Internal politics, huh. I see... Say, Zilfie, why don't you just tell us how much it would cost us to get all the information you have and then we'll decide if we want to pay for all of it or just some of it?” Celine suggested as she looked at her companions, waiting to see if they too would be willing to pay for the information, or if they were going to leave it to her.
Alyndra laughed nervously, 'I-uh-I only have three gold pieces left, but if it helps I'll put in one or two... suffice it to say... we'd have to catch the person by tomorrow.'
Celine squeezes Alyndra's hand and gives the redhead a smile. “No need to worry, Aly. Remember, I have a room. You can stay with me until you get your own. It might be a tight fit, but I'm sure we'll manage.” She reassures her friend.
'You would share that small bed with me?' Alyndra looked surprised, 'You're too sweet, thank you.' She squeezed Celine's hand too.
A faint blush colored Celine's cheeks at Alyndra's reaction. “Of course I would. I know it's not much, but I'll be happy to share it with you regardless.” She gave her friend a smile, then cleared her throat and looked at the floor while she quickly got her blush under control. She took a quick look at Rogriss to see if he had anything to add before turning her attention back to Zilfar, waiting to hear her price... and “forgetting” to let go of Aly's hand as she did so.
Catherine could not see what the adventure was doing, but she was working intently. The former pirate could hear how she mixed the herbs, purred the liquids and mixed it all together. It took her some time, and after hour, it looked like it was finished. Camile feed her father with medicine and waited... Catherine could see as tiredness was slowly overwhelming her.
Well, done what ye came for, luv? ‘Posse it be about my turn now Catherine had unsheathed her sabre and began to step out of where she had been hiding, making her stride across the room, letting Camila feel the sharp point of a blade just poke along her back. The pirate took a look at the at the man trying to determine his condition, but focused more on the bounty at hand. “Any sudden moves and I must get violent. Nod, if you understand and throw that sword of yours away.”
Zilfar looked at the pair, her elbows on the counter, her hands supporting her chin. "Oh, you can continue." She smirked. "Hmm... Even if you give me more, there's not much more I can tell you. I'm not an information broker you know, only simple receptionist." She sighed. "Well, I'm not sure how the witch fits into that struggle, so I will not help you - you really should find someone you could buy information from." She smirked. "Or you can convince the involved parties to enlighten you - in the end, does it matter? We make our money from bounties - morals get in a line of profits."
“Aww, you don't know anything more? And here I thought you'd have a lot more to share if we just paid you enough.” Celine said with mock disappointment. Good thing I gave her just a coin. “Well, we were already planning to visit the priestesses and speak with them, so that has not changed. Can you at least tell us where to find Juanita and Carina?” She asked the dark elf.
@majus Rogriss smiles at Zilfar. "Yes, I'm sure that altruism is the reason she's letting a stunning redhead stay in her bed. How kind of her..." He says to the dark elf. "I'll follow your lead", he says to Celine and Alyndra.
