"Well aren't you full of surprises." DT-L30 chuckled, "Yeah that'll do nicely." He nods as the zeltron upgrades his limbs. "Hmm. How about for my other arm, you attack a grappling hook or something?" He said in an almost sarcastic tone.
Using her piloting skills, Loreley is able to avoid damage, while Sera fires shots that bounce off the shields of the two fighters. She scores a lucky shot that hits one of their engines, and the enemy ship plummets down to its doom. The other fires a shot that takes Loreley's shields down to 50%. Danann sees the enemy fighter fall to the surface below. What she sees, that Loreley doesn't, however, is two Mandalorian soldiers hanging from the exterior of the craft with their grappling hooks. They detach the hooks, falling down towards the Shadow's Trail. Sara blows one away with the turret, but another lands squarely on the hull, throwing a grenade at the turret. The gun explodes, the flames and shrapnel hitting Sara, who was running from her seat but was unable to get far enough away. Two more Mandalorians drop down from the other fighter onto the hull. Danann sees through the hole where the gun used to be, just too small for a man to fit in, the first Mandalorian, clad in beskar armour and carrying an automatic blaster, plant a bomb on the upper entry hatch.
"Do you spy on me?" Fendrat laught and press on hidden button on Deet arm. Hook on the line shoot and hit in the wall. "25 m reach, auto rolling back, option to cut off line if it will be needed. Made by combination of web spider from Khassyh and plants from Accurate. It will hold your weight and two other person or 200 kg." He pac on his legs. "And now your legs have magnetic, so you can run on the walls."
"Damn... now all I need are weapons attached on my armor. And I'd be a one man army." DT-L30 whistled in awe as he found out all about his new limbs' all new functions.
“The fucked up part is, I was kind of waiting for this.” The doctor was smiling much more than she should have when she got out of her seat and grabbed her blasters, ready for action. She’s definitely get to treating Sara after dealing with these guys...but...this might be a problem. These weren’t the standard thugs to just get blasted in one shot. But she was far from a standard person, using her enhanced shooting skills to their full extent, taking aim to lay down suppressing fire against the guy starting to plant the bomb. It was more important to interrupt him before he could finish setting it.
Fendrat smile and take a sit on the chair. "Now go on training and try everything. I will clean here."
"Thanks." DT-L30 stood up, trying out his new limbs. "I'll avenge Loreley, I promise." He said, his tone dead serious. "I'll see you around Fen, try not to get killed by a horde of women." He chuckles, waving at the zeltron as he leaves the shop. DT-L30 heads for the barracks to request leave right after Loreley's funeral was over.
As expected, Danann's shots fail to penetrate the man's armour, but they knock him backwards, preventing him from activating the bomb. Another Mando heads to the hole from the destroyed gun, firing his pistol inside the ship. A shot whizzes past her shoulder, burning through her top.
DT is told that he's already on leave until the Torment is refitted in two weeks to a month. Inquiring about Loreley, he finds out that there is a backlog of funerals for those who died in the battle of Onderon, and it won't be for at least a month.
Loreley had little time to celebrate, She flipped the ship around, flying inverted towards the next cliff face. She'd fly past it so close it'd scape the paint off the roof of the ship (and the turret, which was already gone).
He tells them how to contact him, then proceeds to head for Nar Shadaa fo look for Xarrina. And hopefully begin his Force training.
Biting her lower lip, she tries not to scream from the sheer heat melting away at her clothes. She didn’t stop to dwell on it being exposed. As embarrassing as it was, this wasn’t the first time that she fought while practically naked. Her blasters weren’t going to be enough to do damage on their own. At best, she could only focus on pissing them off as she was getting yet, another stupid idea. “Pilot. Looks like you’ll have to abandon ship soon if this keeps up. Get the rest out alive. Looks like we might lose this.” Her confidence was starting to wear thin, as she kept exchanging fire hoping for maybe a luck shot to land against the head of one. In another bit of risk, she took aim and fired at some of the more fragile equipment on the ship, hoping the explosion would disorient them and catch them off guard for at least a little.
Fendrat by this month spend on improve his personal tools. Now made his own brancles, with let him overheat weapon of oponent, ewen in longer distance. It could be use for hacking droid to fight on his side and something against Force user. He also made special traps, what could be located by throw on the ground or walls, so he could use them in running away or in traps. He also going out on dates with Cara, taking her to places where he promise and spending time tougether in the work.
He finds a shuttle that's reasonably priced, able to pay for it easily with Attrana's money. There's a brief pirate scare, but the enemy ship is chased off by a Victory Class Star Destroyer. Just under a day later, he arrives on the smuggler moon of Nar Shaddaa. Stepping off the shuttle, he realises that he was never given an address by Xarrina.
DT-L30 sighs as he realized he had no clue where Xarrina was. Then again, she's a crime lord now, so looking for her shouldn't be hard. In his civilian clothes, with Xarrina's master's light saber hidden on his hip. DT-L30 wanders around, using the Force to try and pick up her location. While also keeping his ears open for news on what's happening around Nar Shaddaa.
Loreley hears a bang, as the hatch is blown open by an explosion, and then a sickening scraping sound as the ship collides with a cliff face. The two Mandalorians on the top of the hull are ground into mincemeat. The ship tosses and turns, and the man firing at Danann is crushed to death. Just before, the first Mandalorian blasts through the hatch, dropping down into the ship, sent crashing into the wall at the tossing and turning, as is Danann. Ikki and Tekki reveal themselves, strapped to the opposite walls, opening fire and scorching the mercenary's armour. As the ship levels out, he reaches for his blaster.
He quickly hears word in a cantina, of a red and black Zabrak woman who showed up recently on the moon with a private army, slaughtering one of the biggest smugglers on the rock, and taking his business for herself. The man says that she's holed up in a casino, that she's made her headquarters.
The ability to keep stable only went so far. The constant changing of positioning didn’t help and when her knee slammed into something metal, her cursing was almost louder than the bang. But through some stroke of random chance that she’s later pass off as brilliant planning, things were working to her advantage and she let her wired reflexes go to work, readying her weapons before he could get to his and unloading into the torn open holes of his armor, using precise shots to actually finally do some damage to the prick.
Firing into the unarmoured joints, Danann hears a groaning noise as the mercenary slumps over and collapses. @unisol_gr44 Loreley hears one of the Trandoshans shout "Bad man dead! Kill fighter!"
'Didn't see that one coming, Mando cunts!' Loreley laughed and righted the ship after the near collision with the cliff, bringing it around to fire lasers on the remaining fighter, also trying to get a missile lock.
