She gets a few good shots in, but doesn't destroy the shields. The beeping sound of a missile lock pierces the air several times, but the wily Mandalorian pilot manages to shake her each time.
“Do what you can from here. I’ll get Sara taken care of.” With her cybernetic arm, lifting the Cathar up wasn’t too hard as the doctor made a somewhat hurried but careful pace. She couldn’t do anything from here, but she would meed to deal with Sara’s wounds before they got worse.
With the month of time, help from Cara and Beam, and the resources of the crashed ship, Fendrat is able to make the things he's tinkering on. His relationship with Cara gets even better. His leave is extended to a full month, as he hears of delays in the refit of the Torment. One day, as he heads back to his room at the barracks to grab a component he'd forgotten, Fendrat sees Tarrik approach him at a run, with a beaming smile. The pilot grabs Fendrat, wrapping her arms around him in a hug, making several people look in confusion and distaste. "She's alive, Fen! Loreley's alive! We got her back!"
Loreley tried to get the Mando pilot into a predictable pattern with her laser bolts, before firing a missile onto the fighter's predicted vector.
The enemy pilot veers to the right, obviously expecting her to think he was going left, and is engulfed in an explosion as his craft is blown to pieces. Loreley sees a massive amount of contacts still, but thanks to the stealth drive, they have no idea where she is.
As the fight ends, Danann is able to get Sara into the medical bay. Examining her, she sees that the Cathar has suffered severe burns on the left side of her body, and has multiple wounds where she was hit by small pieces of metal.
It was a bit of a mess. But Dannan’s upgrades made her speed at getting to work comparable to a droid, only hampered by her talking to herself. “You won’t die. That’s not going to happen.” A lot of the deeper work would take more time to do later, and would require the proper equipment at the tower to throughouly treat. But getting Sara to be at least stable was still possible and the top priority. She was concerned about the remainder of the battle...but it would work itself out. She had a feeling.
With a liberal application of bacta, she's able to pull out he shrapnel and heal the worst of the wounds. Danann knows that she'll still likely be heavily scarred.
Sounds familiar enough. DT-L30 almost laughed out loud when he heard the news. For now he heads for the casino.
They didn’t have the machinery on the ship to fix it. There were plenty of devices to do that and she’d get one for the Cathar while she was healing, but this was one of the first few times, Dannan actually got squeamish from looking at it. She had pulled Sara into this. This was because of her. “Sara’s unconscious but stable. She’ll live!” Dannan shouted her assessment to keep the crew updated as she walked out and searched the damages of the ship. “We lost a few guns and our hull has taken damage, but the rest is mostly superficial. Don’t over extend. We did the mission. No need to pick a fight with every last one.” Dannan took a sharp glance to Ikkei. “Can we get a confirmation of kill on the targets?”
Ikki walks over to the the Mandalorian corpse and shoots it in the neck. It doesn't move. "One crush, I see. Body still stuck. Other fly away, Tekki see. All dead."
'Okay, let's get out of here,' Loreley said and pulled up, taking the ship up to orbit. Once tgey had left the atmosphere, Loreley started the calculations to jump to Coruscant.
The casino is large, and opulently decorated in red and gold. Hundreds of people roam around, gambling, drinking or watching dancing girls. It doesn't take long before he's escorted up towards an office. DT hears the sound of moaning. As the door opens, he sees a muscular, powerful looking woman licking the pussy of a naked Xarrina. "Ah, good girl." She looks up at DT. "Ah, no legs! Good to see you. This is some bounty hunter the locals sent after me. Introduce yourself." The woman, far larger and more physically imposing than Xarrina or DT, moans something into the Zabrak's muff. "Good girl." She raises a hand, and the woman screams in pleasure. "So, I'm glad you're here. How would you like to be part of the organisation?"
“Great...next time I want adventure, remind me why I don’t do this shit anymore.” Relaxing just a little, she couldn’t while realizing Sara was still pretty badly injured even if patched up for the time being. She made her way to the cockpit and took her seat, for a moment giving an approving smile to the brunette, but focused on getting out her comm and patching it to Cyrus. “We had a snag. Sara is hurt. Get the med lab ready and make it a priority. Other than that, we’ve pulled through...can we confirm that the bombs hit who they should have yet?”
"As much as I'd like to accept your offer, I'm still a soldier of the empire. Besides, a war is about to start. And it's not against the rebels." He sighed, he shuts the door behind him. "I'm just here to start my training."
Cyrus sounds legitimately distressed. "Sara? Shit. How bad? We don't know yet. We're still collecting info. It's hard to tell who died in a building collapse like that."
Loreley made the jump to hyperspace, taking another six hours. She looked to Ms Sarafiel, 'Sara is hurt? I'm sorry, will she make it?'
