Xarrina groans, cumming into the amazonian woman's mouth, before flinging her into a wall with the Force. She grins at DT. "Luckily for me, I believe in learning by doing. Your lessons will just coincidentally happen to be taking out my business rivals. No better way to learn the ways of the Dark Side than by inflicting pain." She narrows her eyes. "Speaking of pain, I can feel it inside you. What happened?"
"Hmm." DT-L30 simply watched the the former assassin was flung to the wall. "A close friend, Loreley, one of the pilots you hired. She's dead." He said through grit teeth, obvious it was hard for him to talk about it.
“She’ll survive. With the tools on the ship, she’s fine, but a full recovery will take time. I suspect some tissue damage, but her motor functions will still be fine. See about getting something to help fix up any scarring..I don’t want to know and I don’t care how.” Speaking to both of them, she tensed a little. “She’ll pull through, definitely. She’s a tough girl.”
DT sees the woman's expression soften for a moment, before she catches herself and her face becomes stern. "Good." She stands, putting on her clothes.
“That’s the plan...I’ll make it up to her.” Closing the comm link, Dannan chose to just sit in silence for the rest of the trip.
"Good?" DT-L30 grolwed, his rage once more starting to burn. "What's so good about it?" He asked, his expression filled with fury.
Xarrina laughs. Pointing at him. "That. Her death will give you power. Besides, she was a shit pilot." She smirks maliciously.
Loreley brought the ship down in the tower's hangar, lowering the ramp. She looked to the Trandoshans, 'Bring Sara to the medical wing, would you?' Then to Ms Sarafiel, 'I'll let you get to work.' Loreley left the ship and went to her room.
“Thank you...good work anyway. We’ll go over things in the morning. Get some rest.” Not really having the time to get extensively into a full discussion, she had the staff take Sara to a medical room, where they could get to proper work. At least this would be much less touch and go with everything they needed being here.
“Personally? Surviving. I expected some things to go wrong...but this was not ideal. All in all, if I didn’t go, she’d be dead along with the rest of the crew, so I’ll take what wins we can get.”
He smiles weakly. "I guess it's good that you went, then. C'mon." He begins walking with her up to the penthouse. "How did our pilot do, and what do you want to do with her now?"
“The pilot...she did everything she was supposed to. I want to wait until we’re sure we snagged the victory before handing out praise too early...but she did exceptionally well and is the reason why I’m alive to give a performance review....she’s free to leave, if she wants or she can stay until we finish testing, but she won’t be forced to spend all her time in the tower. It would help to have her for the vaccine process, but she’s not necessary either and we can get by without her, even if we lose the ideal scenario. If she decides to go, I want to speak to her in person before she does.”
Cyrus leads her into the couple's shared penthouse. "I'll make sure that the men inform her of that. We've just gotten word. One of the Vigos was outside the building, and died from inhaling the dust. We know that three others were supposed to have been inside, but we'll have to wait until they sort through the wreckage first. Vjun has acid rain that melts your skin, so it's delaying the search and rescue. Provided they were all still in the building, that means that we've killed four out of nine of their leaders. All within a day of the war starting." He lies down on the bed. "I've sent men after the organisations of the vigos we hit today. If all goes well, we should be taking them over soon. We also made peace with Jabba the Hutt. He's declaring war against the Black Sun as well. So far, things are good." He sighs. "Well, except for Sara, and another thing."
@unisol_gr44 Loreley hears a knock at her door. Answering it, she sees a guard. "Ma'am, I've been instructed to inform you that you're now free to leave whenever you like. Miss Sarafiel would aporeciate it if you continued to help us develop the pheromone vaccine, but you don't have to, and even if you do, you can stay somewhere else and come and go at your leisure." He yawns. "Also, Miss Sarafiel asks that you go to see her."
“We didn’t except to get everyone, but we’ve hit them hard and haven’t given them any chance to recover. At least one will try turning on the rest to save himself, I’m sure...we’ve taken a strong advantage, but let’s not take things to lightly just yet.” Accessing the situation, she coaxed her head. “And this other thing, I won’t want to hear?”
"It looks like the droid factory that was going to give us our unbeatable army is having... Hiccups. The place was put under the command of this kid named Dano. He's only 19 but he's already a tech wizard, and the one that got the place working for us in the first place. The problem is that the kid idolised Zann. Now that Zann's dead, he's refusing to let us near the place. He hasn't made any moves yet, but I'm afraid that he'll do something stupid like attacking us or selling the factory to our enemies. I don't want to kill him, but we can't persuade him, I think we might have to." Cyrus closes his eyes, sighing again.
