DT-L30 gasped as the crystals drained him, feeling normal again after weeks of agonizing rage, and loathing. Then, as the crystals turned red. His emotions returned, a weight seemed to have been lifted. He was in awe at how seemingly simple stones held that much power. "I always knew why you did it. I may have been emotional, but I wasn't blinded enough to not see your aim." He replied, taking the crystals as they proceeded deeper into the cave. "Thank you." He sighed as they arrived at the pedestal. Then as he began working on his sabers, DT-L30 used the strongest material she had brought. Strong enough to withstand the grip of his cybernetic hands. “Is that so? Well, if he trusts you, then I do too. Keep us alive, out there. “ She smiled his direction and then stares out the window, down at the planet as they made their descent. “No way to know how this will go. Getting the crew out of danger if anything happens should be your biggest concern. No need to worry about leaving me behind if you must...I may not look it, but...I have a habit of making it through these things.” She concluded speaking right as the ship had landed.
Xarrina nods. "Don't worry about it, no legs. I like those, you have good taste." She goes to say something else, when her eyes widen and her face grows serious. After a moment, DT feels what she's feeling, a presence of some kind, shrouded. He doesn't know where, but DT knows that there's someone else in the room, unseen.
"With the stealth drive engaged, I can get pretty close without them noticing us. Do you want to be seen coming in?"
DT-L30 doesn't reply as he focused on finishing his lightsabers, placing the finishing touches. He suddenly feels the unknown presence, he holds both of his swords, ready to activate them at a moment's notice. "You can show yourself, we know you're here!" He shouts, looking around their immediate area.
“Hmm...I think we should just make contact and let them know we're landing. Getting close would be easy, but it would be a one way trip if he turns hostile. Better not to spook him into thinking we’re not really going to try talking with him. Set up a link and request landing, properly.”
Almost immediately as he finishes speaking, DT hears the distinctive sound of two lightsabers igniting. He reacts on instinct, activating his new weapons and blocking a red lightsaber. There's a distortion in the air, revealing a hooded figure, clad in black. Another figure attacks Xarrina, who blocks as well.
The pilot complies. A scratchy, youthful voice comes on the line. "Cyrus, you are not allowed to be here. Leave, now." The voice seems to be attempting to project more confidence than the speaker actually feels.
“Cyrus isn’t with us.” Dannan stepped in to take over the comm link. Social skills were never the doctors strong suit, but she did her best to choose them carefully. “Would you be willing to listen to what I have to say?”
DT-L30 steps back a bit, immediately recalling the two siths from last month. They must have escaped the station too. He grunts, taking a defensive stance, as he enchances his physical abilities with the force. It was then he returns the assault, striking with one saber after the other.
He manages to put his opponent on the back foot, forcing them back into the doorway. Soon, they fall down the stairs, as Xarrina impales her opponent. DT's enemy says "You were a fool to come here." He gets up. "You'll die in the name of Nihlus." His voice doesn't sound like either of the two from the station, and he feels far weaker than they did. He turns and runs, disappearing. Xarrina gestures to the corpse at her feet. "What the hell was that?"
“I’m Dr.Sarafiel.” She tensed, wondering if he’d recognize her name and try to shoot her down on the spot.
"Ugh!" DT-L30 grunts as they fell down the stairs. Immediately getting back up to defend, and continue his assault. Only be met with a retreating enemy. DT-L30 decides to test his new attachments, activating his grappling hook aiming for the fleeing enemy's shoulder. Then he also uses the Force to push the hook increasing its speed. "You really haven't gotten in contact with the empire then? Don't know the details, even Lord Vader ordered us to keep quiet about it. But, apparently, there're more sith lords planning on invading." DT-L30 explained, while reeling in his hook.
The grappling hook wraps around the invisible man, and there's a puff of dust as he falls to the ground. Xarrina approaches as the assassin cuts the line with his lightsaber. "Sith Lords? Really?" The assassin takes a defensive stance.
“I knew Zann.” Technically, this was true. “I run a medical company. Would you be willing to listen to what I have to say in person?”
He's silent for a moment. "If you come alone, and on foot, you won't be killed. What interest does a medical company have with me? This is a droid factory."
"That's what they called themselves. Fendrat and I managed to capture one. Lord Vader to her himself." DT-L30 shrugged as the line was cut, still it proved useful enough to stop the retreating assassin. "So, dead, or alive?" He asked Xarrina as he takes an offensive stance, ready to attack once he was sure whether they were planning on keeping him alive for interrogation.
The boy was still consortium aligned. Just not to Cyrus. She suspected that could be used. "We're also with the consortium and we're not about to let everything that we worked for-everything Zann built be wiped out by Black Suns. We can talk about this more directly. I'm going to do as you ask and come alone." She was aware this was basically dangling right over the lion's cage at the zoo, but there were no other good alternatives than to do as he says.
