"Alright, so gonna go see the boss. Alright. He was kind of hoping this would be later in the day, but it's probably fine. I got the truck, so are we just carpooling or what?" Adel grabbed her keys from her pocket and clicked the button leading to the loud beeping outside as she began to walk out, seeming to wonder who was going to hang around with who which mirrored Heather's thoughts as she started to properly get up.

"I don't really get this, but I should probably go to then...Jack. You can still drive my car, if you want, I guess. At least make it a sorta good day instead of just dealing with a crazy stalker bitch." Heather's reservations about going along with any of this were visible, but she made her way out too as the group divided themselves along the trip and reached the parking lot they had stopped at the other day in front of the bar.

Alexandra could see that Abel wasn't kidding. Directly in front of the bar on the other end of traffic, there was a not-so good office building between apartment blocks that wouldn't be significant in anyway, other than the fact he had been sitting right there the entire time. As everyone piled out, Adel leaned against the hood of her truck, pulling out a smoke that she made use of her powers to light it, while offering the pack to the rest of the group.

"I can't really give too much details, I'm sorry." While that was the professional answer, Dr.Cho could get the sense it was her equivalent of admitting she didn't actually know. She asked some polite questions about his current health and condition and if he was willing to pick up the interview from yesterday, and whether or not he'd prefer to come down to the station to do it or she should see him somewhere in person where he's comfortable.

Jack drove in Heather's car with her, parking behind Adel's truck. He got out and accepted Adel's offer of a smoke. He laughed, 'I haven't smoked since it was "cool" to do in high school, but this shit is really stressing me out. Thanks.' He took a cigarette, 'Uhm, could you light it? I don't have a lighter on me.'

Alexandra refuses the cigarette. "Thanks, but no. I like weed, every once in a while, but cigarettes are just cancer sticks. Wait, can we stop ourselves from getting cancer? Is that one of these powers of ours?" She prepares to enter the building.

"I don't know, but wouldn't surprise me." Adel gave a shrug, finishing her smoke, Heather declining it as she and Jack wrapped up their smoke before heading to the building. Nobody was standing outside of the door and Adel was able to just push open the door, without it being locked or entering some kind of code. They were obviously incredibly confident in just leaving things out in the open.

While the outside of the building is peeling, cracked and run down, the interior almost strains the eyes to see. Clean, well lit, and tons of upscale furniture that looked as if the couch alone cost more than the actual building. An assortment of them were arranged in a circle on the lobby floor, and a pearl white fountain flowing with pristine water. Standing right in front of it was another unfamiliar presence to the rest of the group, but Adel just grinned at seeing her.

    "What's up, nerd?"

"Ah, Adel. Aren't you supposed to have the day off?"

"I thought that too. Anyway, we're just gonna head up to the top floor. Ah..wait. Terra? Do you know how to test what someone's power is before they awaken?" Adel's inquiry just made the girl sigh.

"Just because I wear glasses doesn't mean I know everything ab-

"Calculate the interim variables for yield and energy output." A cold male voice spoke, and Jack could sense the air of danger on him almost identical to the glasses girl and Adel. If he had to guess, they were all probably roughly the same level of threat. This guy stood out from the rest however. Namely the fact, he was walking to the entrance, neglecting to wear anything close to a shirt, which made the black haired girl try to place a hand on her face to avert her eyes. Heather coaxed her head for a second, giving him a bit of a look, but Adel just looked annoyed.

"Liam, bro. I know you can afford a shirt." Adel's comment was ignored by him as he continued to walk right past them down to the lot standing in the hallway, only coming to stop when directly in front of Alexandra, fixing his cold gaze onto hers.

    "Hey..."

The teacher stares back. "Hi. Alexandra McKinney." She holds out a hand. "Errr, do you always go around without a shirt?" She does a good job of hiding it, but a talented psychic would be able to realise that she enjoys the sight of his body.

Jack poked his sister in the side and chuckled, 'I take it he's more ripped than Trevor? Don't think I didn't notice you checking him out. Really creepy dude, though.'

"Thanks..." His emotions were much harder to read than Abel or Adel. Even the new girl's embarrassment was more obvious...but his was unusual. Not in the way of them being dampened from that supposed psychic killing chemical. It was either that was just really dense at picking up on things or he didn't think anything about them. He did come to stop when Adel got in front of him. "Ah, hey. Why don't you stick around for a bit?" Adel then darted her gaze over to Terra. "So, here's the thing. We're going to be offing Angela, so we should probably get ready for things to hit the fan."

As soon as Adel said it, Alexandra felt the shared shock between the two new union members who had dropped whatever they were doing to get closer to listen more carefully. Liam just looked at the group of people along with Adel. "They opened the box."

"Yeah." Adel gave a nod, that did not prompt a thrilled look from either of her apparent co-workers.

"Angela. She's...having trouble. Do we really have to?" Terra stood out between the other two currently here, since she was the only one who seemed strongly opposed to actually doing it, Adel resigned to the idea that it would be necessary and Liam while harder to read, had a level of personal hate when he heard Angela's name that it couldn't be ignored.

"What we're trying to find out. Stick around for a bit and we'll see what we need to do."

    @unisol_gr44

"I'm not trying to look...but when it's right there in front of me, kind of hard not to. And are you seriously going to play the game of who looks at who with me?" Heather was busy gossiping to her brother than seeming to pay much attention to the severity of the situation, but none of the others seemed to really mind.

“It’s a long story.” Adel spoke for him, but he did little to stop her, now returning to the lobby area to rejoin the rest of the group.

“Just see Medius already. Let’s get the green light.” He went to stand near the fountain, not concerned about the water spraying against his back as Terra made her way to a corner, the rest of Adel’s group not willing to leave just yet.

They walked to an elevator, Adel getting out a keycard, the first sign of any real security, calling down the large elevator doors and stepping inside, waiting for the rest.

Jack chuckled, 'Well, hey, you chewed my out for looking at your tits for a second, not it's my turn. You know how I am, trying to make jokes and laugh it off when things get hard and serious.'

He looked to the others, 'Okay, yeah, I opened the box, how was I supposed to know? And we don't want to kill her. She's crazy, but it sounds more like she needs some serious help to get her power under control. Killing mentally ill people is just... wrong.'

Alexandra steps in the elevator. "Jack's right. If it's unavoidable that's one thing, but we should make sure that we've exhausted every other option before we think about killing anyone."

“We’ll see.” Adel was clearly not fully convinced, but going along with it anyway.

The ride along the way is in silence until the dinging is finally heard, opening up the floor to the office. It was almost exactly what was expected from such an apparently shadowy figure. Antique furniture, bookshelves full of author’s with near unpronounceable names, mahogany desk and clear windows that poured natural sunlight in from three directions.

“You’re having a tough time of it, aren’t you?” He didn’t need to turn around for Jack and Alexandra to remember that blond hair from the vision before. The voice was the same and even before he turned to properly face him, they knew what he looked like.

“I suppose we should get the big things you’re wondering out of the way. Yes, I’m the one the union members keep calling their boss. I never really felt much like one, myself. Yes, there is a slight possibility that Angela could be saved. No, Heather. Trevor is not cheating on you, though he feels the strain of things lately as well. Yes, Adel. Jack was intended to replace you and your brother’s role. However, he is bit more conceinetious than I first expected, fascination with females aside. Jack, for what you’re wondering, you and your sister will come out okay from this, if that relieves sone of the anxiety. Alexandra...that’s something you must decide for yourself. Now...we’ve gotten all the easy ones out of the way. Who wants to go first?”

'You wanted to make me the Agent 47 assassin-type?' Jack looked shocked and a bit confused, 'What about Heather, what's her role in this? Her powers haven't even awakened yet.'

"Ah, Finnegan." Medius didn't expand on much, but Alexandra could feel Adel's emotions well up before she spoke.

"...I'm not good with that guy." She tried to keep a stiff lip about it and speak further, but her emotions spoke a lot about it. Medius's on the other hand weren't darkened. Just a steady and almost unsettling level of perfect calmness.

"None of them are. He gets too easily frustrated at the things he can't change. He is meant to stage his coup and attempt to assassinate me, of course. It all lines up with how things should be." He took a look to Jack while talking about his underlings plans to usurp him.
"Of course, you should be the one to do it. You're not ready now, but you may be surprised at what you can get comfortable with." He just held a friendly smile before taking a glance at Adel who still seemed to be deciding how she should react.

"No, you two have done an excellent job of following and ignoring orders just enough. I'm perfectly happy with how you've done. However, neither of you are truly committed to doing this other than nihilism that it can't be helped. If you want out, I will not keep you here." Adel just held her tongue for once, apparently not able to bring herself to actually disagree or argue with anything he was saying.

"Heather...that I don't completely know. Not everything has aligned enough just yet to see it clearly, I'm afraid. All of it should unravel soon".

'Uhm, well, I for one don't really see myself forming another brother-sister assassin team with Heather to replace Adel and Abel,' Jack said, 'Tell me about Angela. I opened that box of hers, I had no idea what that would mean.'
