Celine elbowed Rogriss – hard. “One thing at a time, mister. Let her answer my question before you start asking about other people. It's not her fault that you got turned down by the witch.” She didn't know if the half-orc had really been turned down, but it didn't matter.
As Gih grabs the pouch with coins, but when he grabbed the pouch it teared down, making all the coins fall around the pavement with loud noise.
"Rr." Gih growled, seems like luck isn't on his side today. As the coins hit the pavement, he leans down to grab two handfuls of gold, before running away. The man was probably winded from fucking that prostitute, so he shouldn't be able to catch him.
"Hmm... all of that will be 10 gold coins." The man says as he looks at bounty hunter. "Will that be all?"
“For the time, I should be able to make it myself so no need to pay for the work done, if I just have the materials.” Catherine was fairly confident that she probably knew as much if not more than this guy did, but refused to say it, placing the coins on the table and gathering her materials so she could get to work.

The woman is pretending to be carrying and pious - under the guise of protecting people she has ordered capture, torture and burning of several women - accusing them of being heretics. In reality, she is a depraved bitch that enjoys making her victims scream." the priestess shrugged. "She did manage to find a cult member at the begging, but her other victims - well, it was making them confess to anything that came to her mind, while she was torturing them. This is getting out of hand... Yet, while she is abusing her power, she isn't exactly breaking law." The woman shool her head.
'Okay, that's all I needed to hear,' Alyndra said, looking determined, not even considering that the priestress might be lying to convince them, 'We're taking her down.' She turned to Celine and Rogriss, 'Should we get the witch to help us?'
“Not so fast, Aly.” Celine stopped her friend before turning back to the priestess. “I see...” Celine didn't know if she could trust everything Juanita had told them, but she couldn't just dismiss it, either. “What sort of evidence do you require, exactly? I don't know if you are aware of it, but High Priestess Carina seems to have offered a bounty for a certain woman.” The elf intentionally did not reveal anything more. “This might allow us to see just how she will make the supposed heretic 'see the light'.” She explained. “ Speaking of, can you tell us what to expect if we were to watch Carina... interrogate someone? It might be a good idea to be mentally prepared for it...” She looked at Alyndra, wondering how the redhead would react if Juanita's accusations turn out to be true.
The man raised an eyebrow. "The price is only for materials." He said as he started going around and gathering various ingredients, before returning with all of them to the counter.
@Tjf @moonblack @unisol_gr44 The priestess thought for a moment. "If she is sending you after someone... well, check if that someone has some forbidden books or artefacts. For only having those, and not giving it up to temple, one can be killed. Of course, you would need to be caught first. But back to the point. If the person has something like that, pass it to me. I will place it in Carina's quarters - with that kind of evidence, I will be able to confine the old sow and remove her altogether from her position of power." She then looked baffled. "Watch her torture someone? Well, we have no one right now in the cells... so no. What to expect? A lot of fucking, whipping, choking and drowning. That sums it up."
Gathering her stuff and paying the cost, she went to work as soon as she could to make it and head on her way.
“Well, I am not exactly thrilled by the idea, but in the worst case scenario we might need to actually bring the person in question to her, thus we need to know what High Priestess Carina might do to her.” Celine explained. “Anyway, thank you for the information. Do you know where we might be able to find Carina? We need to ask her a few questions about the bounty she put out.” The elf asked, then added after a few moments “Also, if you don't mind me asking, what is going to happen if Carina is removed from her position? Won't it cause trouble for the rest of you here?” She inquired, pretending to be worried about Juanita and the other priestesses at the temple.
Gih pockets the coins he could take, as he heads back... to nowhere. Since the old bounty hunter kicked him out, telling him to take charge of his own destiny. Whatever the hell that meant to the little goblin. For now he heads back to the guild to ask if there were any inns that would accept a goblin.
The exchange went smothly. "You can work at that place Mrs." The alchemist said as he took Catherine to the back of his shop and showed her his lab. "Be sure to not make a mess." He asked as he left back to shop. It took Catherine quite some time but finally, she finished her product - simple, beautiful, proof of her skill. A red shimmering rose.
Priestess Juanita smiled sympathetically and shook her head. "You don't have to worry about us." She said with gratitude. "Once Carina is declared a heretic and we have her confession including the artefact, the central will not bother us. As for Carina... she will experience the very medicine she gave away." The woman finished with dark resolve.
Maybe she admired her work for a little too long, but she soon tucked it carefully in her clothes, above the waist. She wasn’t about to get it lost or stolen. With that out of the way, it was time to head out. She doubted she could capture the witch single handedly, but she was new to the guild and expected to be over confident. Nobody would think it’s strange for her to head out on her own, which is what she took advantage of, slightly worried about getting mud on her brand new boots, but acknowledging that was the least of her concern. She had to seek this woman out before other people had a chance to do something stupid and sabotage her long term plans.
As he enters the Guild hole, the dark elf looks at him. "There was some commotion at one of the gambling dens. Apparently, in the commotion created by some goblin, they lost one of their barmaids. You wouldn't know anything about that?" She smiled.
@Tjf @moonblack @majus 'I don't want anyone tortured,' Alyndra shook her head, 'Just put her behind bars for her crimes or something. You'd be no better than her if you do the same to her.'
"If only everyone were like you." The woman smiled sadly. She walked up to the window. "The politics and factions in our order are rather complicated. If we were not to follow standard procedure, we would be questioned about it, and her friends would quickly find a way to free her." She turned to look at Alyndra "A bounty hunter with morals - I pity you, child. Why did you choose that profession?"
