"How things should be? So, do you just outright know the future? Why haven't you dealt with him, if you know that he'll be after you?"

"Uh, hey? Don't I get a say in this? I'm not going to go out and kill people or anything." Heather still had a loose grasp of what was going on, but remained looking defiant agreeing with Jack, the prospect not sounding too appealing to either and Alexandra could feel Adel conflicted at the idea of staying or going. Not that it bothered the blond haired man. He just smiled. He clearly understood everything they were thinking. He began to approach, without the slightest look of worry.

"Truth be told, I don't expect to be a key player for much longer...the forecast doesn't look good." He stopped about a foot away from them, hearing Alexandra's question about his ability.

"Yes and no. My ability is to predict things and I'm quite good at it. However, the twins mistake it for meaning I'm infallible. This is not true. I can compress visions of timelines together and compress them into two or three guesses, and work with the most likely scenario from there. I see everything of what routes something may take...but I cannot always know which direction someone is going to go in. My power is real. But I'm not a god. "

'Well, that is a matter for another time... or something we cannot do anything about,' Jack said, 'Angela is the more pressing problem. How can we defeat her or subdue her?

"Adel has the right idea. The more concerning fact to me is that she has a partner. As for battling her personally...Liam and Adel could beat her with little problems, so I'd recommend taking them along...however, Liam is not inclined to go along with the plan of trying to spare Angela. Perhaps I shouldn't talk about his secrets...but it may help you gain some understanding. They were friends. Liam encouraged Angela to grow her powers. He didn't know how she'd turn out, of course. I guess he still feels responsible. He worked the hardest to keep her from going out of control..it didn't work. It's hard to say how he'll react to sparing or killing her...I think he still wants to believe she can be helped...he's convinced himself it's too late for that so he can justify it. If you want my personal opinion...no. I'd rather she didn't die...but with all these questions, I'll ask some of my own. What do you plan on doing if sparing her works and she still doesn't repent? If,..IF she can be helped and doesn't show any guilt for her crimes, what would you do? What about her actions prior to current events? Those sins won't disappear. Should saving her mean they should just be forgotten about then? If for all your best efforts, it's still for nothing, what will you do?"

'Uhm, well,' Jack looked nervous, 'Don't you have some high-security prison for dangerous psychics where we could put her?'

Alexandra shrugs. "I don't care if she repents or not. We're not after her for ideological reasons, this is purely self defence. If she stops coming after Jack, that's enough."

She puts a hand on her chin. "She needs psychiatric help. Do you have any contacts in that field?"

They agreed to meet at a public coffee shop near the hospital that he is all to familiar with. Maybe he could pick her brain or perhaps she still had that blockage he couldn’t understand.

"Hmm..." Going against how Abel and Adel hyped him up to be, he has to take the time to think on their questions.

"Routing back to your problem, getting to her to begin with isn't the easiest. Adel already covered her having the same ability as Alexandra and that it makes it near impossible for her to be surprised, which is good that you figured that out before doing anything rash." He compliments Adel for a second, before fixing his gaze on her. "Which is why I don't fully understand why you feel the need to try throwing and burning things towards whatever the problem is." The quick glance to Heather, is indicative that he's already aware of Adel's attempts to "test" her.

"To your question...we don't have prisons...but there might be a solution similar. I realize that you aren't going to be pleased to hear it, but it may be for the best." Walking back to his desk, he looks for a drawer, pulling it open, looking down at something. "And as she bit the apple, the curse by the witch fell upon her, placing her into a eternal slumber..." Mumbling to himself, he placed a small box on the desk. Light pink cardboard, that as he moved the lid off he revealed the contents of it. Chocolates. They looked completely ordinary and didn't exude any kind of presence, but there was a slight look of horror on Adel's face at seeing them.

"Seriously? If we're just going to place her into a coma for the rest of life, she's probably better off dead. Look, if we really want to bother trying to help her, there's got to be something better than being a vegetable." Adel's complaints and the clear fact she was starting to doubt him were met with his still relaxed smile.

"There is....assuming that you're willing to allow yourself to get stabbed. I don't recommend it entirely...I can't promise the odds of your survival." Adel clearly wasn't thrilled by the ultimatum.

"Ah...hey. I heard you guys out a lot to try and find a solution here...but...I'm gonna have to be a bit of a baby and say that I'm kinda of against getting myself stabbed. I'll suck it up, I guess. If we seriously gotta do it like that...just...how badly do we really need to do this? Just trying to be sure."

After agreeing on the time and place, Dr. Cho arrives to find it currently relatively light with customer traffic. A fairly middle class place that was in the price range of average people, though nobody would ever call the quality of the food to be anything exceptional. Just fine, but at least the service could be expected to be good.

Entering, he can see a booth near the corner, clearly picked out so she’d have her back against the wall, but as she noticed him, the detective offered a friendly smile, waiting for him to sit down. Her mind was still the static haze and while she looked overall fresh, he could see she hadn’t changed out of her clothes from yesterday. She tried to stifle a yawn, obviously having been up all night, but held her polite look to him as he sat down.

“I’m glad you called. Before I harass you with questions again, should we place an order?”

“Perhaps she’ll he so overcome with guilt of a former friend that she swears to change on her own.” It wasn’t clear if this was a joke or not.

“But you don’t know.” Adel gave another sigh, resigned to doing more things that pushed her feelings to wanting to distance herself from him.

“Ummm...” Heather’s face scrounged, thinking. “The problem is her power is too much, right? Can’t you weaken it somehow?”

“No, my dear. You see-“ Medius looked ready to talk down to her before stopping himself, then spreading some papers across his desk.

“That wouldn’t work because...” He was drawing out his words, but Heather had already caught onto it.

“You never thought of that? Are you fucking serious? What kind of genius di-

“Watch it.” Adel gave a sort of warning while half being insincere at this stage, as Alexandra felt her disillusionment starting to fester within. She had the same look in her eye as Medius lifted his head out of the papers to look at the group and speak, the supposedly al knowing leader now just looking a little sheepish.

“There...may have been a slight miscalculation.”

Jack put and arm around Heather's neck, 'Good one, Heather!' He smiled at Medius, 'So we could dampen her ability and she could return to her senses?'

Heather a little surprised at the sudden act and with Jack's natural athleticism can't do much to stop him from putting her in the same position she had done to him a countless number of times in the past. While annoyed, there was still a bit of a smile on her face given the situation. "What? I didn't do anything. I just sa-

"You misunderstand. This isn't in your favor." Medius cut off the celebration of finding a loophole, actually looking somewhat dejected rather than like he just knew everything. "I had thought your chances were around seventy six percent or so...ein the new information....your odds are now forty two percent." As soon as he said it, Heather redoubled to escape Jack's grip.

"How the hell could that actually make things worse?" She was loud with the question for obvious reasons, but all he did was shake his head.

"I have no idea. It is possible to dampen her abilities..tattoos, depressants, earrings...but she'll still have to be beaten in order to get to that stage to do any of that. Liam could help...assuming he can be convinced not to kill her. I'm sure there's a way to get her to willingly do it, but I have trouble picturing it...she wants to meet in the park, correct? She already handed you a means to kill her ability as to not have her "love" drive her completely crazy from just standing near her...we can't just leave one person to confront her by themselves...but there's no telling what she might do if she feels that she's getting swarmed. We should refine the fluid properly and use that to keep at least two people "invisible" in case they're needed...odds are they will be."

Jack let Heather out of his grip, not sure how that would make things more difficult either, 'So, you're saying we can take the easy route by just killing her with Liam's help or... we try to save her which would be much more difficult. I mean... what would happen if I go meet her alone? If her crazy mind tells her she loves me and all that, she wouldn't hurt me, right? Maybe I can convince her to take one of those things to dampen her abilities?'

They go ahead and place their order and begin small talk as they wait. After they get the order Steve looks outside seeing something that is going to happen from the minds he is reading, but can he stop it without being noticed. His conversation with the detective was going no where.

"I gotta go with Alex on that. It's way too risky." Adel's teeth were practically clenched, unable to see any good or easy outcomes. Medius on the other hand was back to that serene calmness.

"It could be looked at as a test of sorts. Jack, you aren't willing to take lives of people you don't feel really need to die...this makes you already closer than you might think to what the twins were doing before you ever got involved. Perhaps, it could be seen as none of the options are meant as easy because the universe wishes to see how well you can truly hold onto to the belief of avoiding death. Truth be told, my expectations are that one day, you will be an executor of the divine will...however...if..for some unfathomable reason you can rebel against the system...I'd be pleasantly surprised." He took a pause from his thoughts, pushing the super paralytic chocolate forward.

"Even if you don't plan on exploring all your options, you should have them read anyway....Angela..her mind doesn't work that way. Her sense and understanding of things are completely warped. I'm not confident that she really even knows who you are. She's feeling tens of thousands of people all at the same time. Love? Depression? Even things like drug addiction and abuse. It's all the same to her and she can no longer seperate the differences between things. As far as she understands, everyone else is just getting in the way and she's done nothing wrong...if you try to talk her down...keep that in mind. Don't play into her delusions, but don't insult her or focus on trying to "win" an argument with her. That's not the point. What you need to do is keep her from being a danger to others and herself, not trying to prove that she's wrong."

"Um..yeah, I don't think this needs to be said..but I'm not too good with that stuff." Adel still had the look of wanting to pick a fight with her, but shrank back as Heather reluctantly did the same.

"I don't think I'd be able to play nice with her that much either." Heather was busy staring at the wall, obviously not haven't yet processed everything that was going on in her own mind. Medius didn't seem too bothered by either refusing to be the one to approach her however.

"It can't be helped...it may be possible to help her, but saying the wrong thing could end up becoming even worse. Unfortunately Adel, I'm going to have to reject your request to refuse dangerous work on the grounds that I know you're still the only one of this lot who can fight...for what it's worth, that shouldn't be much of an issue soon...but that's something to be talked about later."

'"Executor of divine will"? What? Like an angel of retribution or something?' Jack said, 'To be honest, the more I hear about Angela the more I want to help her. But, if I meet her, it would probably be best if you make a plan to save me without my knowledge, so I don't give anyhting away with my thoughts and feelings.'
