Volenca stutters "O-Oh, no, that's not what I meant. You were great... I mean, you were quite effective with the mace. I just didn't want you to worry about us getting hurt." She blushes slightly. [Yeah, just consider Sarva to have thanked Angelo some more and then left.]
Angelo smiled at Volenca, 'Thanks for the praise. I'm glad neither of you got hurt. Of course, couldn't have done it without those other three. Can you believe how rude people are these days? Not one of them told me their name. The demon had better manners.'
One of her arrows hits its mark, sending a man tumbling from the saddle. Lukas, Darius and the remaining soldiers mount up, waiting only for Allune to get on her horse before they bolt down the path. After a fast paced chase, the tatars see banners on the horizon, wheeling around to ride back into the forest. Darius breathes out a sigh of relief. "Everyone alright? Allune, were you harmed?" He looks at her with concern. Lukas nods, whilst the common soldier groans, an arrow in his thigh.
'Let's bring the wood back to camp, I need to talk with Marguerite about what happened,' Angelo said, carrying his bundle towards the camp. Once they had gotten back, he made went to find Marguerite and tell her about the black knights with the red crosses.
He quickly finds his way to her crimson canvas tent, finding her there with a few other inquisitors, talking around a map table. The brunette looks up a him. "Brother Angelo, are you in need of something?"
'Oh, my apologies, I see you are discussing something more important, I'll come back later,' Angelo said and excused himself. He went to his tent for the moment, his thoughts lingering on the strange encounters of the day and especially on the demoness, Sarva.
It was funny foursume and Mszczuj was sure he leave females satisfaction and pleased as he was. But every pleasure must end someday and it come end to them too. He said goodbye to priest and pagan girl and leave sauna with Eva. Once they both get dressed and feel as fresh as possible. "Well, that was nice. I would suggest go back to our rooms and take some rest before our mission." He said to Eva.
“I'm sure it is,” Ophelia smirked, playing along with Benacio's joke. “You did fine too, bro. We all did. But let's try and not make it a habit of getting into fights, shall we?” As the trio made their way to Tarsovie Ophelia realized she had lost track of time and looked at the sky, trying to get some idea what time of day it was.
After an hour or so, Marguerite makes her presence known, before entering Angelo's tent. "Angelo. You needed something?"
"A fine idea. Good night, christian." She kisses his cheek, and departs to her room in the inn, where Boleslaw has hired accommodations for his retinue.
"No promises, sis." Ophelia sees the sun sinking, as the late afternoon begins to drift into evening.
'Yes, thanks for coming,' Angelo smiled at Marguerite, 'Do you happen to know of any reports about knights in black armour with red crosses on them?'
'So they do exist?' Angelo told her what had happened in the woods, and how the demon had told him about the knights recruiting demons for their army, '... I know it sounds crazy, but I don't think she was lying.'
She's silent for a moment, before she nods. "They exist. It's those knights that we're after, or so the reports say. I wasn't aware that they were recruiting demons, however. That's news, and highly troubling news at that. I'll have to report this to my superiors, so tomorrow I'll have you lead me to find this little succubus of yours."
Mszczuj don't go to his room yet, he have something to do before. Young warrior walk to church, to find some quiet place where he could pray to God lord. Bastard doesn't know how long time it will take mission, but he will ask for support of God's will, to protect himself and every party members.
'You want to meet her?' Angelo looked surprised, 'I'm not sure finding her again will be easy... at least I would try and get as far as possible after that... massacre.'
