Angelo turned to Sarva, 'You better stay here where it's safe.' Before he nodded to Marguerite, 'Alright, lead the way.'
Heading up the stairs, Dobron puts a finger to his mouth. They hear the sound of a door closing. At the top of the stairs, Mszczuj sees candlelight under one of the doors, and muffled talking coming through.
"Hm? No, not really. It's just, well, it's because the village is small. At least compared to this place, so, if she went around and slept with any man that caught her eye. There'll be rumors spreading all over." Allune sighed once more.
Mszczuj sneak near the closed doors and put ear on the wood, tried to hear what they are talking about.
Sarva nods, redressing, as Marguerite heads out into the woods with Angelo. After a while, they see Larisa and Miroslava kneeling in the bushes, beyond which lies the army of the knights. He sees a large cloud of smoke coming from a hill in front of the castle.
"A reasonable concern, I suppose. Still, I don't think she'd be that lustful. There's a distance between taking a lover every once in a while, and sleeping with everything that moves."
"And hopefully, mother hasn't crossed that distance yet." Allune replied with a wry smile. She looks out the window, taking note of how dark it had become. "Ah, we should probably call it a night. I have my mission, and you still have your duties for the king. We can get to know each other again, when I return." She said in a concerned tone.
'Damn, they brought a whole siege army,' Angelo said, 'We can't fight them. Should we try and check what happened to the camp?'
"-My lord, you have the power to help." He hears a male voice with a distinct Lithuanian commoner's accent speaking. Another voice responds. "True, I have the power to release Sir Darius before the king gets back, but why exactly should I help your master?" The voice is young, and clearly belongs to someone of the upper classes. The commoner speaks. "Sire, it's no secret that the girl's father is no friend of yours. By pardoning my master, you would hurt your enemy. Sir Darius is a capable warrior as well. He would be your loyal man." There's silence for a few moments. "A capable warrior with one hand cut off? I doubt it. Still, you do make a point about the castellan. I would want to see the look on his face. Nevertheless, it is late, and I'm expecting female company. I'll give my answer tomorrow. Shoo." The noble dismisses the commoner, and Mszczuj hears footsteps approaching the door.
"I'd like that. Still, you don't have to go on the mission, if you don't want to. You can stay if you'd like." He smiles, standing.
Mszczuj drag his companion, to hide in the shadows behind corrner, before that men will noticed them. He also, want to know who is one of Darius men.
The door opens, and a bearded man Mszczuj doesn't recognise steps out, bathed in orange candlelight. He holds the door open for two stunning and scantily clad women, who enter the room. The bearded man closes the door behind them, taking a quick look at their bodies, before beginning to walk away, ignoring the sounds of giggling coming through the door.
Mszczuj right now wanted to kill that men too, but it would be difficut to get rid of suspection for murder in the castle. No, it will be better to wait for right oputunity. Mszczuj whisperd to his companion. "We will coming back. And don't talk about that to anybody, I don't want to give them warming that we get know about deal."
"No, I've already told Mscks... that mustached knight that I would join. So, I'll be there. Besides, I've learned a few tricks on how to deal with them now." Allune said with a confident smile.
Moving through the brush, Marguerite and Angelo come within sight of the camp. It's in ruins, dead inquisitors, monks and priests littering the ground. Volenca spots Angelo, rushing to him and hugging him tight, as Marguerite slices the imp pursuing her in half. The attack seems to have killed all but a dozen or so of the Inquisition force, but they've held out, the survivors killing off a few retreating knights and demons. Angelo sees over Volenca's shoulder as a fearsome looking woman smashes in the head of a knight with a warhammer. She throws a sidesword to her companion, a massive, hulking blonde man, who impales an imp as he cuts off the head of a humanoid goat creature. The surviving attackers flee from the camp, heading towards the castle, as the woman raises her warhammer in victory. The rest of the inquisitors let out a less than enthusiastic cheer. Volenca tears up, clinging tightly to Angelo.
