With wealth and prestige, I didn't want to complicate things with different tiers, but effectively, 1 wealth for a patriarch represents your money after the expenses of dealing with your lands. Effectively, you have a "business" bank account for money spent on your clan, and a "personal" bank account for money spent on yourself, if that makes any sense. It's the same for prestige. Your clan's prestige will rise as the clan has successes, and your own prestige will rise when your character individually succeeds. Good idea with the wife. Lots of narrative threads that could come about. Is she a manipulative old crone who pushes her husband to dishonour, like Lady MacBeth? A beautiful trophy wife that doesn't care about her husband and seeks a younger lover? A genuinely loving partner? A woman pushed into an arranged marriage who fears the lord's reputation? Lots of options for where that story could go.

@unisol_gr44 I like it, but wouldn't water enhancing a weapon just kinda slow down the speed and force of the impact? Maybe ice would be a good extension because of the hardness and sharp angles that could be used defensively and aggressively for hard punches if it works to him being able to enchant bare knuckle weapons like hand wraps. Though something like a water shield would work really well because it's going to pretty much slow whatever physical attacks used to a crawl. As magic utility, if he levels to do stuff like fire water blasts from his hand, that's going to be effective since high pressure blasts can cut through steel.
I did think more of it as an ice enchanment. I just wrote water since that's the Chinese Wuxing element, I'd imagine it governs ice too.
