Well, how about:
Haggling: 1 (skilled at haggling, thus getting better prices on things)
Kingdom Management: 2 (skilled at ruling a kingdom, making ti easier for her to spot and fix potential issues or come up with solutions to unexpected problems)

Will her negative feats be enough to make up for three extra skill points?


Or should I pick feats instead, such as (for example):
Gifted Diplomat (has a natural talent for diplomatic negotiations, giving a bonus to all uses of Diplomacy)
Seductress (has a natural talent for seduction, giving a bonus to all uses of Seduction)

 

Okay, first thing - feats of Avatar. They are only descriptions, not doing anything, from what I understand?
Skills and attributes are okay.

The follower Cost
Attributes (don't have to be limited to 50) - 50*10=500
Skills = 0
Equipment - if the robes and staff are not magical, you only pay 10 for staff -
So the total cost for the character is 510 (attributes plus equipment).

You have 3000 points to use (instead of 2000 because of my earlier mistake).

I would suggest reading moonblack's posts, how he does lower the cost of followers. Or not

 

I would not use Kingdom management - it's just to board.
the rest of skills are acceptable, on '100' each.

 

My point with feats is more of she suffers at pretty much most diplomacy with nobility and foreigners.

Well generic seems to get this a lot better than me, so I might just avoid joining altogether anyway and you should still have players.

 

You've got the avatar alright - the feats only would need to be modified a little, into something like - 'uncompromising - not willing to give an inch during negotiations and reputation that goes along with it,' for that you could take another skill for the avatar.
The follower - it's simple but it's alright.

 

So how about this:

Skills:

+1 point to Diplomacy, 2 points to Haggling, and both feats (Magic and Seduction are unchanged). At 100 points each that would be 500 points total, leaving me at -50. Maybe I could also give +1 Physical and +1 Social to my Avatar's attributes.

 

You... are you using requisition for improving your avatar?

 

No, at least not intentionally. I'm trying to figure out what benefits I can get in return for giving my Avatar negative traits (there wouldn't be much point in taking negative traits if there was nothing to gain in return, unless the player just wants a much harder game). I probably did a poor job explaining that.

 

I'm planning to add skills and stuff to Angelika later after I do all the other stuff. Put in a equipment thing for the avatar though I'm not sure how that works or if that costs resource points or not.

Well, let's say my Avatar has the following skills (bought by using the 4 points given to us):
Magic: 2 (ability to use magic, obviously)
Diplomacy: 1 (skilled at diplomatic negotiations)
Seduction: 1 (skilled at seducing people)

And let's say that she also has the following feats (all negative/weaknesses):
Anal Slut (increased pleasure from anal intercourse. Requires actually having something inside her butt and does not apply to things such as her giving a buttjob or someone groping her ass)
Lusts after women (Weakness when facing enemy females, and must orgasm twice a day by other females)
Beautiful Busty Elf (racial trait) – other people lust after her. When given a chance, they will try to capture and enslave the elf


How many additional skills and/or positive feats can I give my Avatar? Can I give her new skills or enhance the existing ones?

 

I think a maximum of 2 or 3 feats makes the most sense. Which means I can probably afford to give Alatana another few weakness in exchange for being a complete monster on the battlefield, though I'm not sure what would work for feats. She's basically the equivalent of Lu Bu so maybe something with needing to drink lot's of alcohol? Then something else. She'll be a god of war in combat, but just bad at pretty much everything else. It depends on majus though how many feats are or aren't allowed. I feel like 3 is the reasonable limit, though even with just 2 you can already make some pretty powerful characters.

I'n interested and have a concept, but character creation seems a bit too complex for me.

A couple things. I'll post a character, and you can have a look at it and point out what I did wrong.

 

Alright, I edited my post and gave my Avatar Haggling at level 1 (new skill) and +1 point to Diplomacy. Please have a look and tell me if this is fine, ir if I need to make any changes.

Also, I removed my followers for now - will get back to them after my Avatar is done.

EDIT: How much do shields cost? I keep forgetting to ask...

Updated prices for shields and single/two handed weapons.

Your Avatar looks good (no shoes?). So Avatar passes without a problem.
The magic is powerful, but the more character uses it, the more tired she will become, so it's no good in long engagements.

 

Thanks, now I could give my followers shields.

Updated to mention she has shoes, as well as bra and panties under the dress (none of them offer any benefits beyond comfort).

Will get to the followers later today.
