The Sun rises slowly over The City Utamiel, Velca Tamerlane wakes up as Tiya, her Elv Servant, opens The Courtains by The Window, allowing Sunlight in her Bedroom. "Good Morning Lady Tamerlane, it is Sunrise. I prepared some Breakfast" she places The Plate with Cake and Tea beside The Bed.
Tiya stands before her, her Hands folded together before her. "Do You wish to have a Hot Bath prepared of something else My Lady?"
"Yes, a bath would be nice, and a massage." She yawns. "Tell me, Tiya, do I have anything planned for today?"
The Elv nods "Lord Amon will arrive today to talk about The Treaty You sended him. Apparently he still is not sure wheter or not to Sell his Crop Field to You or offer it to Lord Malor"
"I see, then prepare my best dress and makeup as well. I need to look as good as humanly possible." The blonde gets out of bed. "Oh, and take the day off when he arrives. I've left a purse in the hallway with some coins in it, consider it your bonus." She smiles at Tiya. "You've earned it, and besides, if I fail to get his support, we'll be so broke that a few coins won't matter, and if I succeed, I'll have enough money not to care about the little bit I gave you."
She looks visibly happy. "Thank You so much, I wanted to buy some things on The market for quiet a while. I shall prepare the Bath for You at once. What Colour for Your dress do You fancy?"
She chuckles. "You deserve a queen's wage, girl. Too bad you're stuck with the poorest noblewoman this side of the continent." She umms and ahhs for a while. "Red. Perhaps a bit obvious, but we're beyond subtlety by this point."
She nods and rushes off, preparing a Hot bath and placing a Ellegant Red Dress on a Wooden Chair in The Livingroom. "I dont mean to be noisy but....Don't You have Family to ask to back You up Financialy?"
She strips naked, revealing her curvy body, and lowers herself into the bath. "The family is rich, but my branch of it isn't. I could go ask the main branch, but they may not even want to see me. I want to come to them as someone wealthy and powerful, someone worth listening to, not as a charity case." She enjoys the water, and the massage, before she gets out and dries herself. After putting on the dress, she has Tiya help her put on her makeup. "There." She smiles, admiring her looks. "What do you think?"
"Beautiful beyond Words. Lord Amon can't possibly refuse to sell to You My Lady. Is there anything else You need?"
Tiya bows her head and takes The purse, leaving The Small Mansion. Hours pass when Velca sees a Horse drawn Carriage stopping at The Road at her House. Lord Amon, a Man in his early fiftys leaves The Carriage and musters The Mansion and goes towards The Main Door.
Velca goes out to meet him. "My lord." She curtsies. "I'm ever so happy to welcome you into my home. Would you care for some wine?"
The Lord enters her Home and kisses the back of her Hand briefly and nods. "Lady Tamerlane, I appreciate The Hospitality. Yes a glass of Wine would be welcome"
She invites him inside, pouring some quality wine into a goblet. It cost a fortune, but hopefully it would be worth it. She hands him the goblet, and invites him to sit at the table. 'Shall we begin our discussion?
Lord Amon takes The goblet, and takes a sip before he takes a seat on a Chair by The Table. "A Good Red one....Yes lets discuss things. I recieved Your letter several Days Ago, regarding The Crop Field You Administrate. I was not pleased. 1000 Gold Dragons for A Field in a City like this seems to be a bit....Too much"
She nods, sitting down as well. "I understand, my lord, truly. But, I'm sure that I'll be able to convince you that it is indeed a sound investment. (Is she selling the field or buying it?)
He raises a eyebrow before he nods, taking another Sip of His Goblet. "Very well. I will listen to what You have to say in this matter" (She sells it for a Farming Family who wants to be rid of it and leave The City)
