Fantasy Leaders (Custom Army, character/follower creation)

I considered that, but decided to include it after all. Just because she has underwear doesn't mean she has to wear it all the time, plus removing it (in various ways) can be part of the fun...

I'll probably leave the peasants without any underwear, though. For the other followers I will decide on a case-by-case basis (the fire sorceress, for example, will have panties, but no bra)

 

I might go with a completely different character actually, but I don't want to lose all the work I did on the one I have.

"To be loved by all, you must love all in return." The mantra of Malviya has remained as this. Maybe they're simply stories, maybe the gods really do bless them at birth for the skills to rule. Almost holding a worshiping level of reverence by the people, they never have to worry about fighting themselves because nobody ever wants to attack them. The family's greatest risk if anything, has been people who love them too much. All but the most ambitious vassals and foreign powers are humbled by them.

Govind Malviya. The man of the people. Generous, forgiving, and never holds a grudge. But look past the surface and you realize...he's really like this. He's exactly the loving spirit that people think he is. But then if you look to his side, you'll see his wife. Kalyani...whose also really like this. Foreign powers refuse to accept the idea that their exists a proud noble family without any skeletons in their closet or dark secrets...yet, if there is any actual dirt on darker activities done by them, it's buried deep and far beneath the ground.

The shared loved mantra applies to a lot of things. The only thing of real note anyone can dig up is the fact that Govind gets around a lot and his wife has her fair share of people...but neither of them are bothered by this, so it's not even effective as blackmail material and their skill at spinning things leads their own people to believe that it's a form of shared love and can't be considered a shameful act. Though...Kalyani isn't impressed or interested in just anyone. And ironically, this virtue for other people is something of the dark secret about her even if people fail to realize it. While she cares for the common good of the people....there are times where she questions if she truly loves everybody.

Whether the desire to build a world best for their people is just an easy way to control the masses, or just to make their citizens happy, the zeal behind their forces willingness to fight for their ruler is enough to disturb even some of the most fundamentalist zealots. They might not ever raise a hand against anyone themselves, but they'll inspire people to raise theirs back tenfold.

Despite being technically a form of a demon, they work as servants of the gods, protecting and taking care of treasure and artifacts. Sexual beings considered to be somewhat vampiric in nature, they are still mostly regarded as lethally efficient fighters, first and foremost.

The Radhna. Even elite forces starts to sweat when these things enter the field. Strong, deceptively fast and ruthless. It's no wonder that their allies came to admire them. Nobody expects a beast like this to know much, and they use that underestimation to their advantage. They might not be that stupid, but by their own admission, they are brutes who enjoy fighting. The head of the herd, Charaka, most often speaks for the members having been raised personally by the Marajah's grandfather. They will carry about the will of nobles, but are also considered scared creatures themselves and don't put up with anything less than a mutual respect from their peers.

Bestial Strength(2)- Boosted physical stats to just using their good old fashioned bare hands(and tusks)

I need to think of a new skillset and all for her to use. I kind of leaned towards this idea in the first place. How high ranking can our character be to start? Queen? Empress? Not sure if I want her to use magic or not. Would exotic work as a kind of equivalent feat to the elf thing moonblack has? Also hypothetically...how much resources do you think war elephants cost? Also is there a minimum score you need in one stat?

 

I have updated my post on the first page to include followers. The Druid is not finished, but she won't be part of the starting followers anyway. Can I get some comments on the rest of them (fire sorceress, peasants, two types of guards)? Anything wrong and in need of fixing?

 

Okay - for peasant
Looks okay, but endurance has to be changed- you have three effects here
-longer physical effort in work
-faster recovery
-higher hitpoints
-longer sex
that would make cost 400

guards look OK.

Druid - you will be having a problem with lack of Futas... maybe (only magic)

 

History looks good. Quite an interesting character.

Oh I was kind of holding off on adding the feats until I knew what would work for them or didn't.

 

Ouch, that's expensive! Okay, let's remove the 'faster recovery' part - that should bring it down to 300. I'll need to think about the rest and how to change the skill to make the cost more manageable.

The druid is not part of the initial followers and will get recruited later. I haven't decided yet on her backstory - maybe she gets recruited as a punishment of sorts, where she is at Silnariel's mercy because the princess is the only one with a futa spell... or maybe she will be recruited together with other futas, and so her lust for futas won't be a problem - we'll see. Depends in part on how we get the points for more followers.

Speaking of the druid, how are her spells? Does anything need changing.

 

Think of feats as vices (negative character traits) or life experiences or addictions.

Okay, how about the following skills:
Improved Stamina - stamina decreases more slowly when doing physical work (cutting wood, mining stone, walking from A to B...) Cost: 100

Endurance – stamina decreases more slowly when doing physical work (cutting wood, mining stone, walking from A to B...) and can take a bit more punishment in combat (bonus to health). Cost: 200

The earlier version that had four effects could be called Improved Endurance and Cost: 400. It won't see use any time soon, I believe.


Are the prices correct?

If they are, I will probably give my starting workers the Improved Stamina feat and leave the Endurance one for later recruits.

 

For the follower, you have two of four skills. Feats can be like negative skills, so if you take feat, you can add additional skill.
The speed - is it in combat or running?

Alright, I've switched Endurance with Improved Stamina for my Peasants. With that I think I am done with my starting followers: 10 Peasants, 4 Guards (two with spears and two with bows) and the Fire Sorceress. The Druid will be recruited later.

Do let me know if there are any mistakes or issues I overlooked.

 

In combat. But she also has tier two for sword skills. I added hard to kill for her to bolster her hp since they'll basically have to be elite mooks to make up for the fact the avatar is useless in battle. I'll need to add a few more followers, but I'm gradually figuring things out as I go. I might add the naga depending on how badly the first two cost. Also for whatever reason, it splits my war elephant followers thing into two different tabs and won't let me change it.

 

I looked at your post by quoting it and tried to figure out the cause. Try this fix:
Find the line that says:

That should fix it.

 

Yeah, I actually caught that and tried removing it...except it just does that automatically by itself and adds it anyway even if I delete that section. It's weird.

Edit: Fixed by deleting all the spoiler tags and readding them back again.
