Republic of Aska Avatar: Name: Permanent Chancellor Emilie Race: Human Gender: Male Background: A few years of harsh winters had pushed both the farmers and merchants of Aska to the breaking point, but the nobility were unrelenting in their demands for grain tributes and taxes and met the pleas with swords and a dagger. Emilie was the dagger, cutting the head off any organized resistance or newly formed bandit groups both metaphorically and often literally. Sent out to the entire country, he had a chance to see the totality of devastation wrought by overfarmed land and the destitution of the inhabitants. Emilie came to resent his masters, but, unlike most, he had the opportunity to strike at them directly. Liberation came swiftly. Almost too swiftly as almost the entirety of the nation's war council fell in one night without anything to truly replace it. The following months were a period of confusion and chaos, but the faction rallying to Emilie's banner came to prominence, in no small part to controlling the capital's treasury and possessing troves of incriminating information. Power still had to be split, dividing the region into three main principalities with each selecting their own representatives, and with Emilie elected as the nominal head of state. The role of Permanent Chancellor was meant to guide the discussions in the newly founded parliament, then speak with its voice. Reality tended to be the opposite, for much the same reason they had joined under him in the first place. Aska is undergoing a cultural renaissance, libertine attitudes toward everything from art to debauchery has lead to a very expressive society as they explore the limits of their new freedoms after years of repression. Alcheamie is often at the forefront of these developments. And now, when the young nation has found something akin to stability, it is looking beyond its own borders for the first time. Eager to share their newfound notions of democracy and freedom. Working hard at the center is the spider pulling his strings to ensure everything continues to work without falling apart. A nearly silent 'Ohh!" is all that can be heard from their commander before the thunder of hoves heralds their arrival on the battlefield. They're lightly armored, focusing on hit-and-run attacks instead of protracted engagement with enemy forces. Total: 1580 Probably needs a few eyes to make sure everything is prim and proper as well as pricing the pair of Feats for Alcheamie and Reise.
Well as bored as I am, I'm still having too much trouble figuring this stuff out, but since someone else will play, I probably don't need to do it so there will be at least two groups anyway. I'll probably opt for a more straightforward game if it comes up. I do have another thought for a character, if I'm allowed, but I don't feel like I should just keep changing what I want do . Follower wise, it just doesn't make thematic sense to group them together so if I decide to pitch my third thing they'd have to be an independent ruler. I still have the info saved for the other ideas I had since I probably want to save them for some other thing eventually anyway. So maybe I’ll pitch my other thought at least, if that’s okay.
Nothing started yet and the point here is change and refinement, so always time if there's something else you'd like to pitch. Even if nothing comes from it, can be good to have some thoughts written down. Although means having to fiddle with the system again if posting it here.
So here's my third/4 big ideas(The fourth, I don't feel too heavily motivated to doing. At least with my current whims. It would be fun. Just not having the tastes lately.) Anyway, so my third thought... Sultanate Of Tel Iskakuk Name: Sultanah Safiyah al-Taheri Race: Human(Probably) Background: Hamad al-Taheri, originally a Sheikh had inherited his titles from his father, the Emir. Well, originally content to simply run what he was assigned, it wasn't but in the span of a few short years that he went to war with his brothers for their portions of the lands divided by their father. Emerging victorious, after some costly fighting, he took the title of Emir for himself and from there had the options of practically any woman in his emirate to become his wives. He already had one in mind, and why wouldn't he? When he saw her, he decided Safiyah was simply too much of a treasure to allow her to remain as just some commoner. Of course, she didn't mind it. Concubine wasn't the nicest title, but the perks came with a luxury palace, food and more money than any peasant woman had seen in her life. Really, it was easy for pretty much all the women not chosen to actually get a little jealous. And it only got better from there. Hamad made his push out into the other desert lands, proving his combat genius and gladly taking the rewards provided for a hard fought campaign, both by loot from his enemies and what his wives provided him at home. Allegedly, and while there's little proof of it, he had borrowed Safiyah's mind to pick before some of his more decisive battles. Suddenly, his enemies found their weapons sabotaged, or something spooking their horses when they needed them the most, and at least one succumbing to an inexplicable case of poisoning though not culprit was identified. As the domain expanded, the hand he used to reach began to get more underhanded, but proved effective. The sultanate was his. With the expanded harem and now the flock of an entire kingdom at his choosing, he had chosen Safiyah to become his primary wife which she gladly accepted. It wasn't long afterwards he decreed the laws shall be singular succession rather than splitting across the realm, to reduce the risk of fracturing his realm like it did for his father. He enjoyed a reprieve to consolidate his power, but unfortunately, as it turns out, filling your court with captured women from your enemies was a good way to inspire conspirators with would be assassins. Stabbed to death in his sleep, he was left succeeded by him and his primary wife's first son, Aslam. Only having came of proper age to rule not too long ago, it wasn't surprising that he'd pick a spymaster he could trust. In this case, his mother. She had raised him and she was more than willing to give him advice privately of what he should do. It's not clear how much of his mother's deeds are actually true, exaggerated, or just made up, or just what she wants people to think she's lying about, but her effectiveness is real. It's not clear if she was corrupted by the luxury of court, or was some kind of corrupting force for the former and current, but she's lived live on up high for too long to be having any plans of going back down. Cumdump Familial Bonds- Desires an inappropriately close relationship to her own family(May not fully be aware of it). Weak to actions taken by family members. Sultanah: 1. Feminine form of Sultan(Can happen, but about as rare as it sounds.) 2. Used to refer to a Sultan's mother 3. Refers to Chief Consort Alright, so I think this is what I want to go with. I need to go to bed, so I need to worry about any touch ups later. Tell me what does or doesn't work.

It does work and is quite nice. Not sure how the cumdump fits into her history - the way she will be used by her troops? With 3 additional feats, you can choose 3 additional skills.
Question: What should we put as "state of your fiefdom"? How much do we get to decide about what we start with? Usually that is up to the GM, at least in part.
The requisition you can use for followers is 3000 - the feats don't raise the number of requisition you have, it lowers the cost of the units. You will start in a new land, ready for your conquest...

Expanded Silnariel's history, added history/appaerance for Andelia, added pictures for the peasants, added overview of the followers. All I'm missing is the looks of the guards. Let me know if you have any questions, or if I need to make any changes.
I mean the kingdom of Egypt(Or the Equalivent) would be part of the larger empire of Arabia so that might work. I need to determine a few things for followers. Would the sultan be a follower or his own (sort of independent) npc character? Also for feats, maybe instead of cumdump then, something like an attraction to dirty lowborns like vagrants?
@Auraicide Let's start with something you might have missed. You start the game, in Alien land, with your Avatar and followers - nothing more. You can call followers from your kingdom (through ship, magic, or any other method), construct them, or breed them (with the very fast growth rate) - the method will be up to you. Mana tanks - That is a nice skill - OK Feats can be gained through the gameplay with players actions.
