"Maybe we could get mom to join in, after she's explained what happened in her past." Yuki groans at the question. "Lord Yokuboo got assassinated. I went to fight the assassins, but it was too late."
Kina nods thinking. She then bowed deeply. "My lord, my lady. Let me assure you, that the Rai clan sluts, that were assigned to lord Jurobei's retinue, will be punished for their failure."
Jian chuckled, 'Really? I'll think about it.' After getting dressed, he headed outside with his cousin, 'Well, let's go to that inn the Ronin wanted us at.'
The scantily clad warrior leans with one foot on the gate, smoke trailing from a pipe in her mouth. She pulls out the pipe. "You came. I was hoping you would. We'll wait a little for the others to show up." After a few moments, Kyouka sees two figures she vaguely recognises from the ship, Jian and Chitsukiko. The two walk arm in arm, quite obviously lovers. They find the ronin out by the gate of the palace complex, along with a person they recognise, the busty and intimidating warrior, Kyouka. The ronin smirks. "Good. We're all here. Y'all ready to head out? I've packed some supplies for us."
Midori shakes her head. "No. The Rai Clan kunoichi was on a mission for Lord Yokuboo at the time. It isn't her fault." Sanada remains silent.
“I like the way you think, sis.” Midori grinned. Especially since I was already considering the same. She added. Then she got serious as she heard the news. “Lord Yokuboo... is dead?” She paused briefly as she tried to assimilate the news. “I know I'm supposed to be sad that the clan lord was assassinated, but... To be honest, I never knew him so I can't really bring myself to care. Especially since, from the little I have seen and heard, he seemed like a person who would use and then throw us away once we were no longer useful. I hope the new clan leader will be better... Speaking of, any idea who that will be? There must be at least a couple of candidates looking to take control...”
"Hopefully it'll be Midori. She's kind and strong, if a little old fashioned." She chuckles. "Plus, I'm part of her guard, so having her in charge might be an opportunity for us all to rise."
@unisol_gr44 "Ho?" Kyouka cooes, grinning as she saw their companions. "So that's your lover, huh?" She teases as they arrived. "Well, no wonder your father asked me to not challenge you." She then faces their "leader," and sighs, "Don't you think we're missing that mage you were talking about?"
“Sounds good to me, especially if she's willing to acknowledge her own weak spots and get help to overcome them. Besides, we Midoris should stick together, no?” She chuckled.
'If you have thought of everything already, yes, we are ready,' Jian nodded. 'Hello there, Kyouka,' Jian nodded to the swordswoman, with a smile, 'Yes, Chitsukiko, I think you have seen each other before.' He chuckled, 'My father asked you not to challenge me? I am hurt, seems like he has no faith in my abilties.'
The ronin shakes her head. "The mage'll meet us there." Kyouka notes that Chitsukiko goes a little red at her comment. Together, the group begins moving through the city. "So, you all met on the boat?"
"Yes, get help, and reward her helpers..." She chuckles ominously. "If you want, I can present you to her tomorrow."
Kina shakes her head. "It does not matter. The moment she was assigned to Yokuboo clan member, and the clan member died, her life was forfeited." Kina looked into Midori's eyes. "Fault means nothing here. If on assignment, Rai clan slave serves lord and lady, it means that her life is tied to that person. If Yokuboo dies, the Rai slave's life assigned to him or her, is forfeit." She paused. "If the woman is still alive - that means she went against our clan's code. That means she might be compromised, or a traitor." Kina said calmly, then looked at Sanada. "The only justifiable reason for her not to end her life yet, is that she is hunting for the assassin." Kina paused. "Nevertheless, when the news will reach the clan headquarters along with the news that she is still alive, she will be declared a traitor, and hunted by any and all Rai clan members."
Sanada nods. "That is a compelling point." Midori shakes her head. "That's ridiculous. I won't allow it." The lord's brother looks at his niece. "You won't allow it? You have no authority to allow anything, and especially not to disallow anything." Midori glares at her uncle, before turning to Kina. "Would you leave us, for a moment?" It isn't a request. When Kina leaves the room, she feels hands wrapping around her waist, before reaching up to caress her breasts. Shintaro bites on her earlobe, before saying "If it isn't my favourite slut? They might be arguing a while, why don't you come to my room with me?"
"No, no. He thinks whether you win or lose, your "love life" would be ruined." Kyohka replied with a cheeky grin, teasing the two lover birds. She then looks at the one-eyed ronin, "Yeah, pretty much. Though we also met at the boat. Yet we haven't introduced our selves. Names Kyouka."
“Sure, why not. I should at least meet her and see for myself what kind of person she is. But can we do that early in the morning, if possible? I would like to visit lord Tiyaka and ask her a few questions, and I have an invitation for after noon, so I won't be free at that time.” She gave Yuki a quick kiss. “What are you going to do, sis?”
'No, we first met in the Yokuboo castle courtyard in Ryuza,' Jian shook his head. 'Really? I did not think he would care about something like that,' Jian chuckled, 'Maybe you would rather help us spice up our love-life some time?' He turned to the ronin, 'Jian, this is Chitsukiko.'
The group are escorted to a carriage, which begins heading off towards the countryside. The ronin grins. "You guys having trouble with your love life, eh?"
As Midori gave her order, Kina saw fit to add one more thing. "Even if you order otherwise, my lady, it will still happen." Kina said as she turned to Midori. "Lord Jurobei left several contingency plans in case Rai clan ever tried to break it's shackles. Almost all of them include a complete purge of the clan. That's why we will hunt down any and all traitors from among our clan, and put them down." Kina bowed and left the room. Kina moaned lightly, as Shintaro Yokuboo slid his hand under her kimono and started toying with her nipple. "You have but to order, my master, and I will please you in any way you desire. Should I fail, or bore you, or you would find it amusing feel free to throw me to your levies, to punish for days to come."
"Oh, right. Sorry, I'm terrible at remembering the names of people I haven't fought." Kyouka replied with a cheeky grin. "Either way, nice to meet you again. But, I was aiming to learn her name." She looks at their leader, her grin turning fierce.
