"Urgh, Crap, could have handled that differently." Kyouka groans as she falls down, barely having enough time to grimace as she doesn't plan on getting caught again. But, as she noticed the giant's attention was gone, with its back turned towards her. The redhead decides to strike. Quickly getting on her feet, Kyouka rushes and jumps up to slash at its head.
Freezing the knee plate of one of the legs, he's able to punch clean through the weakened metal, detaching a leg and sending the armour falling to the floor with a clank. It's still 'alive', but for the moment, it's out of action. Chitsukiko dodges out of the way of the falling metal.
Her blow bounces off of the helmet, but it's on the ground, temporarily disabled. More vines dart at Kyouka, but she has time to escape the chamber.
Jian tried to freeze the animated armour's head and repeat the process, hoping that would disable it for good.
Jian backed away from the armour, hoping the vines would keep it occupied while they moved forward in the ruins.
"Ghh." Groaning as she failed to finish off the giant, Kyouka decides to retreat instead. She runs toward her group, so that they can proceed.
Chitsukiko looses a few arrows at the vines, and they reel away, allowing the group to get to safety. The ronin grunts. "You all okay?"
"Yeah, more or less." Kyouka grunts, patting herself clean. "Nothing that'll hinder me." She added as she sheathes her sword.
“Thank you, but I'll pass on eating for now.” I wouldn't mind eating you, but now is really not the time for that sort of thing. Midori replied, then blinked in surprise. “I... thank you, your highness, you honor me with your trust. She gave a small bow to the empress. “I'll do my best not to disappoint you.” Not that I could refuse such an offer even if I wanted to. “Is there anything I can do for you?”
The ronin picks up the torch, guiding them in further. As they walk through, they see a T intersection amidst the hallways. "Hmmm. Which way, I wonder? Last time we went right, but didn't go far before we found some treasure and went back to the surface. Do we go further down that tunnel, or go left?"
"There is a small task, but a delicate one. You'd be well rewarded. Tell me, you're a beauty, but how capable are you at seduction?"
A woman enters. "Good morning. I am Lola. I'm an imperial concubine. I was wondering if you had any questions before your tests resume." Kina knows stat she isn't the target.
“It's hard for me to judge my own skills objectively, but I like to think I am pretty good. And I can be discreet and tactful when necessary, too. Please tell me, what, exactly, do you need?”
"There is a particular ambassador from my homeland, who is being slightly...unhelpful. I need you to obtain an object, but her chambers are well guarded. If, of course, a beautiful woman were to catch her eye, and it was to go missing after she took that woman to her room, well, she wouldn't be able to report it, not without shaming herself."
“I see... tell me more about this ambassador, please. And about the object in question.” Midori requested, her mind already focused on how she could handle this task.
"Hmm. I don't really have much of a sense for treasure. So either way is fine." Kyouka shrugs, "Let's go left then."
