"Ghhhaaaa!" Groaning as she's crushed, and pulled away. Kyouka keeps a firm grip on her blade's hilt to slice into the spider's underbelly. Damn, what the hell is this katana made out of? She thought to herself as she slowly gets back up on her feet, when Chitsukiko sucessfully pulls her away. "Ghh... thanks." She groaned as she takes an offensive stance to get a feel of whether or not the spider's underbelly broke any bones.
“I see... well, the Empress seemed quite interested in my mother, but does not seem to know anything about my father. I think it would be best to keep it that way for now. Thank you for the warning.” Midori paused and looked at Yatsebe. “I'm curious, did you know who my father was when we first met?”
"Thats ok, I learn by observing. You don't have to hold a Lecture about cutting Monsters down" she smiles. "You heard The Guards? Maybe we have to spend the Night in that Town..."
He's nearly impaled, but the ronin cuts the spider's leg, hacking halfway into it. "I saw an exit?" The spider reels back.
"I'll make sure you make it up to me." Chitsukiko gives a grin that's barely visible in the low light, before both women hear the ronin say "I've found an exit." Kyouka seems to be okay. She might have bruises, but nothing is broken.
Azai chuckles as they head through the gate. There's a district outside the walls, but soon they've walked into it, and are finally alone on the road, fields on either side of them. "Why, you scared that the monster might find us when we go to sleep?"
"Yeah, yeah. I won't challenge your boyfriend." Kyouka grumbled just before they heard the ronin. "Hear that? Let's go!" She said as she waits for Chitsukiko to run, before following.
“No apologies necessary, I was just curious if both of you knew ahead of time.” Midori reassured the man. “Yuki and Saeki will be quite surprised to find out about this.” (Midori's question was aimed at Yatsebe, but this is fine too. In any case this will likely be my last post for a few hours.)
"You make me sound like a little Girl. I was not the one who was getting his but whooped by a Group lowlifes...." She smiles
Together, the group begins running to a staircase, spider on their heels. The female voice sounds, chuckling. "Run, little flies... Survive, and perhaps we'll meet again."
"No No You didnt dont worry. And I was just kidding. It's been just a rough couple of Days and some light hearted talk is appreciated..."
"Then I'm glad to help. Don't worry, I'll protect you from the boogey man if we have to stay the night." Azai gives her a smirk. As they walk and talk, they see a small town in the distance, on the edge of a large forest.
Yunah smiles back and points to The Town as She spots it. "That must be it....We should look for a Inn. People like to talk there about all sorts of gossip. Our best Chance to find out more and Pay for a Room"
As Jian reached the staircase, he turned and waited for the others to pass him, 'Come in here, quickly.' Before he brought up the rear of the group.
"Good idea." Together, they find a decently sized two story inn. A portly middle aged woman looks up at them. "Good day. How can I help you?" There are four other people inside, at least on the ground floor.
"Good Day" Yunah bows her Head. "We would like To Rent a Room for The Night...and like to know more about The supposed Monster that's terrorizing these Parts lately. Perhaps we are able to Help"
