[You overlooked asddas' post above?] 'That might be for the best,' Jian nodded, 'How do you want to deal with the whole Oichi situation?'
“Alright, if you're sure...” Midori agreed. “So, what happens once the issues are taking care of? Will you be needing anything more, such as additional crew, additional maps, more equipment... or will you be ready to go?” She asked, curious.
The trio listen intently. Grugga chuckles "Sounds like fun." Ujo gives a nod. "Good plan." Ya-Ming signals her consent. "I have a demon mask that can filter out toxins. I'll wear that." Santo approaches, getting some alcohol for the men still working on the defences. "You need me for this job, or will I just stay here?"
"Good." Kyouka nods, and as Santo arrives, she shakes her head. "Sadly, we can't participate in this mission. I have no doubt my sister's men know who I am. And I'm sure she's already associated you with me, so if they see you. They'll be on guard." She sighed, "For now, we'll continue remain here. Though I'm sure she'll figure it out before long, but not until after her factory burns down."
(Yep.) "I'd just kill her, but since she's the mistress of someone so powerful, I can't touch her directly. I've sent a spy into her ranks, and Kyouka has her own plans." He strokes his beard. "I might go and see if she needs any assistance."
She nods. "I'll be able to deal with that. I'm not as skilled as your mother, but logistics is my strongpoint. Once we've solved our problems, I'll be able to convince the emperor to give the go ahead."
He gives a chuckle. "All right, then." Ya-Ming begins to leave. "The earlier, the better. See you soon, boys." Grugga and Ujo nod. "We'll head out on your leave."
'You probably should coordinate with her,' Jian nodded, 'I do not really want to get involved but that might be too late now. Tell me if I can do something to help.'
"Good luck. And try not to get too drunk." Kyouka nods as they left. "Now. Guess I should greet Tatsu, and the old man." She stands up and heads down the basement to see how they're doing.
She finds the two of them playing cards by candlelight. Tatsu looks up as she descends the stairs. "Hey, boss." The accountant nods his head in a show of respect.
"Well, I'm glad you two are comfortable. You can head up now, though try and remain as inconspicuous as possible. Though, by the end of the day, we'll be having a new facility. Would you like to move there, or remain here?" Kyouka asked as she shut the door behind her.
'Let's hope Oichi has the same courtesy,' Jian told his father. After he had left them, Jian fetched some water and tea leaves, he put the kettle on the stove to make some tea for them, 'So, what now? Any plans?'
Tatsu shrugs, while the accountant says "Whichever is more secure. This isn't exactly the cosiest place I've ever stayed, but it's better than being eviscerated."
Chitsukiko begins removing her armour, stretching out. "Not sure. I was there that day we saw Oichi, though. She thought that you and Kyouka were together, and there was a hunger in her eyes." She looks up at him. "I'm worried about you, to be honest."
'She hasn't tried anything against me yet, and that thug said they wanted me alive,' Jian pondered, 'Hmm, I wonder if that sorceress in the crypt could make us immune to the poisons Oichi uses. That seems to be her favourite way to manipulate people.'
"We'l. slowly upgrade this tavern's facilities. Though not at a pace that'll scream "we just rob the yakuza." For now, defenses. Then, we can start with amenities, and better food and drink." Kyouka cooed. "Anyway, on to business. I trust you know about the casino, yeah? How do they transport the cash?" She asked the old man, with a grin on her face.
"If she can make you stronger, then I don't think it would be out of her power. I just hope that she doesn't end up being worse." She shakes her head. "Hard to imagine that, though. What kind of person tries to enslave her own sister?"
“And then off to distant lands, to see new people and new sights?” Midori inquired, smiling. “Speaking of distant lands, I recently saw a nanban map of the world that supposedly makes the owner able to understand foreign cultures more easily – though I have no idea how one would check if the map actually works. Would such a thing – if it actually works – be of any use to you?”
