Hello community! I plan on starting Star Wars RP and am checking who would be interested. The setting would be set a short time after the battle of Endor – from the third film of original series, ‘Return of the Jedi’. It would be taking place in a chaotic galaxy, with collapsing Empire and raise of warlords. A time of chaos, heroes and opportunity. Interesting times. It would be standard RP with a little addition. The player’s character would have to start as a leader of some kind. He/she might be a pirate captain, a warlord, an imperial Moff trying to strike on his/her own, a mercenary commander, etc. The retinue can be anything from a small crew of twenty elite troopers lead by Royal Guard, inquisitor commanding a start destroyer with full troop and fighters, up to a poor kingdom on a remote planet ruled by a survivor Jedi padawan Queen. If you want to join, have suggestions or questions, this is a place to post them.
Possibly. I’m tentative about agreeing to things I’m not sure about again, but might as well see. I’ll probably need to see what other people come up with before I decide on what I can do as a character. I also don’t know what imperial army ranks are or what ones are important or not.
Like I mentioned before, I'm interested. Would New Republic characters be okay, or is it just Empire/Independent?
Take your time and rhyme to decide - there is no rush Imperial ranks Glad to hear it New (and remnants of old) republic characters are welcome! If you want, you are free to be a part of an organisation - with all of it's pluses and minuses.
Could we play canon characters? (By canon, I just mean from existing SW movies, games books etc, not specifically from the Disney canon.)
That... Would be interesting idea. Sort of insert game... It's tempting, but I would rather not... .... Hmmm.... ... Do you have someone specific in mind? Luke Skywalker?
