"Hmmm..." Abigail continues to wander the streets, trying to jog her memory. Ard notices that the men are poorly dressed, but are both armed with clubs. For now, they don't approach, simply observing. "Ah!" The herbalist smiles. "It's this one." She begins walking towards a building, and the men start to follow from a distance.
Ard wasn't sure if the thugs were hired by someone or just looking to beat up an elf. He followed behind Abigail, keeping his eye on them. Hopefully they weren't stupid enough to follow them inside.
"Something that might cost us our heads. Believe me, better not go too deep into it, unless you want the boss to decide that we know too much. I really regret being given this assignment. I killed enough many people playing the nobles games to know to stay away from it." He sighed. "When we get there, I will need to hire man skilled in seduction to seduce the wench. I will also need a quiet place I can work in. Will you be able to supply those?"
"Oh? And if by some chance, someone does try something toward me. You'll be the one to save me? When you haven't even scored a hit during our training sessions?" Mirellia replied in a strict tone, before giving Ashton one of her rare smiles. "Well, I guess it's the thought that counts. But you forget, I am considered one of the best fencers in Redania."
Bogrid looks up at the witcher. "Expert skills? Yeh think I'm an expert, just because I'm a dwarf? Feckin' racist." He grins, to show he's kidding, and gets to work. Soon, the door is blocked by the plentiful pieces of destroyed masonry around the ruins.
"That take us less time, than I expected. " Trista said and smile to them, patting Bogrid in the shoulder. "Alright, let's look around for possible anower passage to inside, in these ruins. I doubt they would made some long tunnels, but better be sure."
Varrin made sure to look away from his sister, not wanting to risk getting hard. He really did not need any more of Madeline's teasing, and he was in no hurry to find out how Isabella would react to him getting an erection due to her naked body. Though he would surely remember the sight of her naked ass. When he heard her speak he turned to face her. “Good morning, Issie, how are you today?” He greeted her politely. “I'm ready to go when you are.” There was no point asking questions – she would tell him whatever she decided, when she decided. (I am done with my task, so back to normal – at least until something else comes up.)
Abigail heads into a small storefront, asking for someone named Corrine. The tired old crone behind the counter simply indicates up a set of stairs with her finger. Heading up, Abigail and Ard enter into a small living space. Searching around a bit, they find a bedroom, where a dark haired woman sleeps. "Corrine? CORRINE?" Abigail shouts, trying to wake the woman up. "That bloody old woman downstairs. What was she thinking, letting us up here? Who knows what we could have done if we had bad intentions?" Irritated, Abigail tries to wake her friend up. Looking out the window, Ard sees the thugs waiting outside the building.
The dwarf chuckles. "You an' me both, mate. As for your needs, Cleaver knows plenty of people. A quiet place we can definitely supply. We have some seducers, though do you think a holy woman would get sucked in by someone like that?"
It isn't long before the find another entrance to the underground, this one on the outside of the ruined building, a dark tunnel leading down, the door destroyed.
'I do not know, perhaps the old lady is a very good judge of character,' Ard chuckled and grabbed Abigail's shoulder to stop her from waking Corinne, 'You said your friend is an oneiromancer? Perhaps she is working on something right now. I am not sure if it is wise to wake her in that state.' He pointed at the window, 'We have two thugs waiting for us outside. Not sure who hired them or if they are doing it on their own. Just something to keep aware of once we are leaving.'
"Indeed. Your grandfather has already told me where we'll be staying. I was just about to head there now." Mirellia replied, wondering if he'll come with her, or attempt to hire the mature prostitute he was talking to earlier.
"Holy woman?" Lutz shook his head. "There are few, truly holy women, and you will certainly not find any in an inquisition or the order of the flaming rose. Nah, if the guy is good, he will manage to seduce her, rock her world and leave her spent for me to snatch. And even if he fails, we lose nothing."
"I see you've prepared, somewhat." She mounts her horse, as Varrin's own steed is brought up by a servant. "We're hunting a leshy, a powerful monster, so be careful. I'd be ever so sad if you were to be crushed to death. I do quite enjoy your antics." Madeline grins and mounts her own horse. "I'll just be observing, if it's all the same with you two." Isabella nods. "Yes, that would be best. I doubt this monster can be killed by spreading your legs for it." The younger girl chuckles. "Touche."
Trista look at destroyed doors, if that is destroyed from inside or outside. If outside, than they can block passage too, but if from inside that mean bandits make their way out the building and escape them.
"Wait, wha-". Abigail goes to the window and frowns. "Well spotted. If they come after us they'll find that I'm not as defenceless as I seem." Ard hears a yawn from behind him, as Corrine sits up, rubbing her eyes. "W-Wha... Abigail? And who's this?" She looks at the elf.
Ashton decides to follow along, going with his mother and leaving the prostitute behind without a second thought, the woman giving Mirellia the evil eye for stealing her customer.
"Fair enough." The dwarf nods. "Yeah, we have a few guys who make their living seducing women, so if she can be seduced, our contacts can do it." He gives Lutz a conspiritorial grin. "Think I can have a crack at her, once yer' done?"
'I would prefer not to kill them, around these parts my kind mostly gets the blame even if they attacked first,' Ard said before Corinne woke up. He let the girl wake up and greet her friend, he gave the sorceress a friendly smile and politely inclined his head to her, 'Ceádmil, Corinne. I am Ard Gynvael. Abigail told me you could help us find something or someone. We're looking to find the Wild Hunt.'
