Sasha did not answer, only made an offending gesture. "Pod races were interesting - but that was a decade ago." Will said. "Bounty Hunting could be a thing. Smuggling, another." He suggested, but with real conviction.
The woman waved dismissively. "I will leave it to your discretion - as long as you ensure that the woman won't step from her position, do as you please." She leaned her cheek against her forehead. "I'm quite curious, what you will do."
"Well, bounty hunting sounds not bad, until it will on these planet. For smuggling, we need ship, so for now that option is out."
"I see. Well, I guess we'll just have to give a good explanation then." Sarah shrugged, prepare a few B2 droids, and Droidekas that can fit in the shuttle." She then gave a command, "And once they give the signal, we'll move in immediately."
"We could sell the ship and buy something different?" Sasha suggested, but there was no conviction in her words. "Or buy passage to other planets."
"As am I." Daltar bows, and heads away to mingle with the other guests. Through seemingly innocent questions, and by plying people too drunk, stupid or ambitious to keep their mouths shut, Daltar tries to get an understanding of the political landscape of Naboo, of who is allied to whom, and who among them is most powerful. After gathering what information he can without being obvious, he stands reasonably close to the duchess, smiling at her, but otherwise not bothering her as he makes conversation with one of the less important guests, letting her approach him.
"Not unless they attack us first." Sarah shrugged, "Besides, showing them a portion of our strength should be a good way to start some diplomatic talks."
As he listens, he slowly comes to the realisation that there are several factions on Naboo - the Queen' faction, the noble lead by the duke, the priests. Those seemed to be the main faction present here. Surprisingly, the Gungans were not included. As he was drinking, the duchess approached him. "Having fun?" She asked, smiling.
"That's surprisingly imperial take on things..." He said, slowly. At the same time, he started giving commands to the droids. "How are you going to explain those." He pointed at droids, his face doubtful.
"That's easy. We can just say we were an experimental army. One where the empire wished to revive the droids." Sarah replied with a nod.
Hmm, the gungans are unrepresented? Are they some sort of wild card, or did they just get wiped out, I wonder? Daltar returns the duchess' smile. "I'm trying, but I feel somewhat like the odd one out, being an outsider, and having not participated in one of these in years. I'm better now that I'm speaking to you again, though."
Panza looked sceptically. "Empire is known for it's distaste for droids, especially after clone wars." He shrugged. "Your problem." He said, deciding to cut the talk short. "Will two droidedkas and a dozen B2s suffice?" He asked.
"Flatterer!" The duchess laughed lightly with delight. "Don't worry. Soon, the people will start swarming you, trying to get into your good graces." She smiled. "You are after all, an important person in the court."
"Haha. Perhaps. But then again, the droids did help the emperor gain power. Who knows, maybe he was the one that incited them to attack?" Sarah chuckled, "Make it four droidekas, in case they need to protect me from all sides. Six B2s' should do."
Panza nodded. "The shuttle is ready to start." He paused. "That ship... the damaged one? It's traveling to Mos Eisley. Probably to make repairs." The technician said.
"Good, have they sent the coordinates? Make a preemptive scan of the location, make sure we aren't walking in to a trap." Sarah ordered, "See, they left us alone. That's that." She then shrugged, and if everything went as planned, she heads to the shuttle.
"Ask around and tell The Nest to ask around for potential Recruits among The Civilians. We provide Credits and Opportunity. I'm sure we find Interested Individuals" he smiles
"Nah, there isn't anything there... like, no one?" Panza frowned. "It's a place in the middle of nowhere. Seems like they don't want to meet in their base..."
"Of course. But we will also find a few enemies." She paused as her communicator came to life. "Huh, it looks like Stantor sent a message." She said as she walked to the large communicator and turned an a hologram. Along with the image, wet gurgling sounds came through the intercom.
