Celine smiles and gives him a quick Hug. "Its good to see You too. You did pretty well in The Tourney. But atleast that Knight didnt smash Your Face in. After all It's the only thing You have going for You" she teases, giving him a wink.
'An underhanded compliment but I'll take it,' Cedric said in mock indignation, 'Frankly, the fact that I'm not ugly is my weakest asset I'd say. Can't get by with just that.' 'I'll be staying in the Capital for a while, are you heading back home with father and mother?' Cedric asked.
Yeah You wish! No I'm staying with You. Uncle even rented a Room for Me at The Inn we are going. Hasnt He told You? From now on its Allday You and Me, isnt that great?!" She smiles
'No he didn't say as much,' Cedric said, 'Trying to get out from under father's watchful eye, are you? Should be fun, though I may not have all the time in the world to get up to no good with you.'
She gets going with her Brother and they walk the streets as they talk. "You are actually serious about this whole Knighthood? Think about it First. Maybe talk to some actual Knight around here before You make that decision"
'What other skills do I have?' Cedric said, 'I squired for uncle Rodrick for years, all I can do is... well. knight, guardsman, bodyguard, mercenary, manservant. And from those knight is really the only one that commands any kind of respect and would be worthy for a count's son.'
Nathaniel smiles at her. "It's the least I can do, after everything Youve been trough. Shall I show You the Inn where You can stay?"
Well Guardsmen are also pretty Respected from what I heard. Plus You get payed Decently for just walking around or standing on a Spot. And I read somewhere that Bodyguard are revered High in Society in The Nation of Fire. Ok ok that doesent say much, considering what these Crazies did...."
He leads her trough The Streets of The Capitol and they eventually reach 'The Avri', a small Inn which seems to be popular by The Working Class. A Sign hangs over The Door as they enter. "And here we are. It's not that busy right now since there is a Tourney going on on the The City."
The noblewoman gives a genuine laugh. "What are you talking about? Everyone loves jousting! The banners, the excitement..." (That's true, btw. Only men were allowed to joust, but both genders enjoyed spectating)
"Of course! I've always wanted to see it." She takes his arm excitedly. And of course, going to the tourney is a good opportunity to get seen by rich noblemen. Nearly the entire capital will be there...
"Very well. Wait here and I buy You a Room for The Time being." He smiles and walks off to a Female Elf at The Counter who cleans Cups and glasses.
'As respected as when our uncle shows up anywhere?' Cedric chuckled, 'I can't imagine the merchants and noblemen falling over themselves and the maids whispering when a guardsman shows up.' 'Well, I'm here to find out what I want to do. What are you plans for the rest of the day?' Cedric asked.
"Well First we get You a Room in here." His Sister states as they reach The Inn his Uncle mentioned. Inside it looks welcoming and rather quiet with nobody around besides A Man by The Counter, talking to a Elf and a Blonde Women waiting in The middle of The Room. She looks of High stance and doesent fit in The rather rustic Enviroment.
'So that's the place,' Cedric looked around, 'Reminds me of the roadside inns uncle and I used to stay at.' He had a look at the people present, before he noticed the blonde woman and turned back to Celine, 'Her and you look a bit out of place here, to be honest.'
She bumps her elbow into his side "Very Funny. Well go ahead and Introduce Yourself to The Elf by The Counter. I wait outside ok?"
