Aulus hears a shout of pain as his gladius stabs into his opponent's thigh. In a jolt of pain, the man loses grip of his spear, and it clatters to the ground, but he shifts his stance, and Aulus' sword goes out of his grip. With a now empty hand, the Carthaginian reaches up and begins to choke Aulus.
Aulus was a but surprised at that and gurgled for a moment, but then shoved his shield to the side against the man's arm, trying to break his grip in him..
"I've considered the idea." He nods, letting the priestess touch him. "The problem is getting a message to her without being discovered. She won't betray her mother in one go, I bet. She'll haggle, bargain. That will take multiple exchanges to accomplish, each one risking detection."
The Carthaginian grunts as Aulus slams his shield into the man's wrist, and he releases Aulus' neck. Reflexively, he punches the Roman in the mouth, and Aulus tastes blood in his mouth as he's rocked back, but he hears a crack. Looking at the Carthaginian, Aulus' suspicion is confirmed, as he sees that the man's sword hand is broken, havjng been damaged by the shield and made worse by the punch. The warrior grits his teeth, now only able to use his shield.
"I don't doubt that, General." Anai smiled, as she untied her dress allowing it to fall on the ground. A moment later, her crotch-cloth followed. "But you are spitful, and that needs to be fixed." She stepped forward, pressing her naked body against general's. "You can lash out, I will take your anger... so there is peace between us." She moaned lightly as she moved her hands along Carthaginian's sides.
Flavia smiled, as her hand travelled on the man's chest. "Or, a meeting." She said with a purr. "Send her a message, that you want to meet her - to offer a parley. One message. One meeting. And the love of your daughter." Flavia chuckled at the last statement.
Aulus spat blood but pressed his advantage, he slammed his shield against the man's, pretty sure he had the upper hand with the oppenents leg wounded and arm broken. He tried to force him back towards the spot where he had lost his sword, to pick it up again.
Instead of backing off, the Carthaginian with a grunt, body-slams Aulus, sending the surprised man flying. But as the man slowly limps, to Aulus, it seems that the young Roman has an advantage in mobility. Still, it looked like the Carthaginian had no intention to pick up a sword - he would defeat Aulus with shield!
Aulus was taken by surprise, not expecting the wounded man to charge like that. He got back on his feet as quickly as he could, and started to circle the Carthingian trying to get to his sword or the discarded spear.
The man easily reached the spot his sword was in. he grabbed it, but had to roll out as the man's shield was about to smash him. Luckily, Aulus managed to escape. Now, two opponents were circling around each other.
Armed again, Aulus closed in, smashing his shield against his opponent's shield. With his arm broken and leg wounded, he'd have trouble defending against Aulus' stabs around the side and over their clashing shields.
The man is understandably slower, more sluggish as the Aulus attacks him. But the young Roman was wrong - The Carthaginian had the skill and experience to compensate. Moreover he was now being pushed back as the man started attacking with the shield. He was tiring fast, but so was Aulus.
Getting no results, Aulus quickly sheathed his sword and used his now free hand to hold his shield against his enemy with both arms.
As the young Roman grabs the shield of his opponent, the man snarls and rams his entire body into him. Both men roll over the ground in a tangled mess. Soon they both detach from themselves and the enemy quickly crawls for Aulus's sword.
Ivyari take sword in both hands as she retreat near the building. With a little luck, gladiator who used to fight on the arena, will get hit hammer in the walls or another object which make her uncover for the moment to give Amazon chance to strike.
The woman swirls her hammer, the powerful blows missing Ivyari on hair length. She could not get close. Gladiators, were skilled individual fighters. Battles were their weakness. After a moment, she saw the kneeling gladiator get up, and charge at her.
The man was slow and tired. Aulus was still lucky because he for to him right when the man grabbed his sword. He made a swing, just when Aulus slammed the shield into man's head, stunning him.
The young Roman used his enemies disorientation to slam his shield against the man's arm holding his sword, aiming to disarm him again.
The man roars with pain, as Aulus' swing his hand. He rolled on the ground, in pain, disarmed, and at Roman's mercy.
